Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream September 13, 2023

The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting.  1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said."  1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good. 

Scripture Reading at beginning of meeting, Isaiah 52:13, 53:5-6 - "See, my servant shall prosper, he shall be raised high and greatly exalted.  He was pierced for our offenses, crushed for our sins, upon him was the chastisement that makes us whole, by his stripes we were healed.  We had all gone astray like sheep, each following his own way; but the Lord laid upon him the guilt of us all."

Scripture Reading Psalm 106:32-39 - "They angered the Lord at the waters of Meribah, and it went ill with Moses on their account; for they made his spirit bitter, and he spoke words that were rash.  They did not destroy the peoples; as the Lord commanded them, but they mingled with the nations and learned to do as they did.  They served their idols, which became a snare to them.  They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons; they poured out innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with blood.  Thus they became unclean by their acts, and prostituted themselves in their doings."

Scripture Reading Psalm 34:3-4 - "Proclaim with me the greatness of Yahweh.  Together, let us extol his name.  I seek Yahweh and he answers me and frees me from all my fears." 

Scripture Reading John 16:23-24 - "Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in my name, he will give it to you.  Until now you have asked for nothing in my name.  Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full." 

Prophecy - "My dearest children, look around you and all you see is hell.  Look within you looking out and all you'll see is heaven.  My children, I am always with you.  I am always calling you.  I am always beseeching you to come to me, to know me more fully.  Many say, "No."  Many are indifferent.  And you, my children, what are you?  Where are you when I call you?  Do you hear my voice?  Have you come to know me as your personal friend, as one who is there in your life leading you and guiding you?  My children, every time you gather together united in one, praising and worshipping my name, the power of my Spirit is strengthened in each and every one of you.  And it is in the praises, in your praises, my children, that I will speak into the inner most part of your being.  You need only to listen.  Look outside the box.  Look outside the praise itself and seek what is inside and around us.  My majesty reigns above all and my glory reside within you.  So continue, my children, to persevere.  Continue, my children, to pray and worship for I will hear your prayer.  I love you, my children."

Prophecy - "Know that I am with you; yes, to the end of time."

Scripture Reading Matthew 4:18 - "As he was walking by the lake by Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon, who was called Peter, and his brother, Andrew.  They were making a cast into the lake with their nets; for they were fishermen.  And he said to them, "Come after me,  and I will make you fishers of people."  And at once they left their nets and followed him.  Going on from there, he saw another pair of brothers, James, son of Zebedee, and his brother, John.  And they were in their boat with their father, Zebedee, mending their nets; and he called them.  And at once, leaving the boat and their father, they followed him."

Word of Knowledge - There is somebody who has been losing their hair and they've tried everything in the book, spent as much money as they could and it's not working.  And the Lord says, "Trust in me."  And the Lord will heal this condition.  Praise the Lord for his healing. 

Teaching

Renee Sylvain from Madonna House spoke on Stumbling Block or Stepping Stone.  One of the gifts of following the Lord is he likes to take those stumbling blocks and turn them into stepping stones.  Renee shared about one stumbling block in her life.  Every time, she was prayed with, gone for counselling, she felt it was like Mt. Horeb and she was like the Israelites going round this mountain one more time, not getting to the Promised Land.  One time, she got this huge insight.  The word was, "On this mountain, I will worship the living God."  God was inviting her to worship him in the mess of her life.  A key thing for Renee was when she realized that she was trying to ask something from her Mom; that Renee wanted her to admit what had happened, had happened and that was going to fix  She heard the Lord say to her, "Would you let me pay for it in your Mom's place?  I've already paid for it.  I died on the cross because of exactly this."  Renee finally received this grace to release her Mom from even being aware, to release her from any hold over that.  And it has released Renee and it has brought Renee to a deeper place with Jesus.  Now this great love is being poured out.  In the Stations of the Cross, when the thief says to Jesus, "Remember me," a mystic has drawn Christ so leaning towards the thief that they're face to face.    In 2 Cor 12:7-10, St. Paul says, "I was given a thorn in the flesh and I asked three times for it to be removed."  And God answered, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."  Romans 8:35 - "Who will separate us from the love of Christ?  Will tribulation, or trouble, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?"  Renee questioned can something separate her from the love of God and she thought it's when she doesn't turn to God to receive; it's her will, her choice.  But even if she chooses that, God's love still goes on.  His love is not going to end and it's going to move in all situations.  Renee ended with The Litany of Trust, written by the Sisters of Life (www.sistersoflife.org).  

 Answers to Prayer

Helen's nephew's, Jerry's, knee surgery went well on Monday.  Thank you, Lord.

Some time ago, Leslie B asked prayers for her friend who had a mass in his stomach, plus other problems.  The doctor said the mass has disappeared and a number of the other things have become much less.  Thank you, Lord.

Leslie's friend, Shaun, in Winnipeg had cancer and we prayed for him also.  Leslie was notified today that there is no cancer at all.  Praise God!

Maria K. shared that her daughter who has a two-storey house had two raccoons on top of her roof looking down on her garden.  She was worried because they can bite through the shingles and through the roof and do all kinds of damage.  So, Maria prayed, "You know Father God, they're your creatures, get rid of them."  The next morning they we re gone.  Praise God!
