Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream August 13, 2025

Aug 15, 2025

The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting.  1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said."  1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.

At beginning of meeting Scripture Reading Eph 1:3-5 - "Let us give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!  For our union in Christ he has blessed us by giving us every spiritual blessing in the heavenly world.  Even before the world was made, God had already chosen us to be his through our union with Christ, so that we would be holy and without fault before him.  Because of his love God had already decided that through Jesus Christ he would make us his children - this was his pleasure and purpose."

Prophecy - "My little ones, know that I, God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, are one in you and we will never be separated.  My little ones, no matter what comes your way, we will always be one, and we will always have the victory.  Do not be afraid.  Do not fear what is coming.  Yes, it's true the worst is yet to come, but my little one, we will be strong.  We will remain steadfast.  We will conquer everything and anything.  We will have the victory.  Be at peace and know, know that God is in you.  You are my chosen ones, my special, unique little ones.  Remember to always stay small.  Remember that your Father is with you, looking after you.  Be at peace."

Scripture Reading Psalm 67:1-7 - "May God be gracious and bless us, and make his face to shine upon us - that your way may be known upon the earth, your saving power among all nations.  Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you.  Let the nations be glad and sing for joy; for you judge the people with equity and guide the nations upon earth.  Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you.  The earth has yielded its increase; God, our God has blessed us.  May God continue to bless us.  Let all the ends of the earth revere him."

Scripture Reading 1 Peter 2:9 - "You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of his own, so that you may announce the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."

Scripture Reading Sirach 19:5-14,The Proper Use of Speech - "He who gloats over evil will meet with evil, and he who repeats an evil report has no sense.  Never repeat gossip, and you will not be reviled.  Tell nothing to friend or foe; if you have a fault, reveal it not, for he who hears it will hold it against you, and in time become your enemy.  Let anything you hear die within you; be assured it will not make you burst.  When a fool hears something, he is in labor, like a woman giving birth to a child.  Like an arrow lodged in a man's thigh is gossip in the breast of a fool.  Admonish your friend - he may not have done it; and if he did, that he may not do it again.  Admonish your neighbor - he may not have said it; and if he did, that he may not say it again.  Admonish your friend - often it may be slander; every story you must not believe."

Scripture Reading 2 Timothy 4 - "Proclaim the Message with intensity.  Don't ever quit."

Prophecy - I just kept hearing the word, "Peace."  "I come in peace, just peace.  Do not be afraid.  I am peace."

Word of Knowledge - I just have a sense that somebody has a heaviness in the head, kind of a headache maybe, towards the back of the head into the neck.  I believe that the Lord would like to heal somebody of that ailment.

Two people claimed that healing.

Teaching

Rev. Charley Reeb, a Methodist minister, spoke on the topic, "Chosen and Cherished".  We have an amazing inheritance from God.  This is an inheritance we can enjoy today but we must claim it, embrace it.  Ephesians 1 shows this.

God chose you.  Eph 1:4-5 - God chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before him in love.  He predestined us for adoption as his children through Jesus Christ according to the good pleasure of his will.

We were created by God, our personality, our laugh, our fingerprint, everything about us was chosen by God Almighty.  And God had fun choosing us and creating us.  We were no accident.  God created us as a gift to himself for fellowship, for relationship.

Sometimes, because we forget all this, we act in ways that go against our worth.  We hurt ourselves, other people.  We do things we shouldn't do.  We sin.   The good news is that God forgives us.

Eph 1:7 - In Christ we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses according to the riches of his grace that he lavished upon us......He didn't just sprinkle grace on us.  He poured it out.  We are drenched with God's forgiveness and grace and love.

Why Jesus is so important and we need to believe in him.  Story of an owl caught in Rev. Reeb's porch and couldn't find way out.  The only way out for the owl was for Rev. Reeb to become an owl and show it the way home.  That's exactly why Jesus is so important.  God became human in Jesus Christ to show us the way home.  Christianity is God reaching for us to set us free.  God in Christ has forgiven us.  And when we embrace that, another amazing thing occurs, God is within you.

Eph 1:13 - In Him, you also when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and have believed in him were marked with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit, the pledge of our inheritance towards redemption as God's own people.

The same God who created the ocean and mountains, created you.  When you embrace Christ, God comes to live inside of you by the power of the Holy Spirit to guide you, direct you, encourage you.

Eph 1:20 - God put this power to work in Christ when he raised him from the dead, seated him at the right hand in the heavenly places.  He's talking about the power of the Holy Spirit.  The same Spirit, the same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead lives in those who believe.

The Holy Spirit - that is our guidance system from God Almighty;  God's strength and Spirit and power within us.  That Spirit will never leave us.

John 14:1-3 - Jesus said, "Do not let your hearts be troubled.  Believe in God; believe also in me.  In my Father's house there are many dwelling places.  If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?  And if i go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also."

Jesus said, "I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

God is counting on us.  Eph 1:22-23 - God has put all things under his feet and has made him the head over all things for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

Christ is the head of the body of the church, and we are the church.  The purpose of the church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world, which means that God in Christ is counting on us to tell others that they are chosen, they are forgiven, they are loved.

During Intercession

Word of Knowledge - There's a lot of women in our group who have been praying for their husbands, whose husbands do not practice, do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ.  And the Lord is saying that he has heard all those requests, he's heard all those tears.  And that nothing is impossible with him; to continue praying for your husbands, continue praying for your children.  The Lord is going to do a mighty work, not just for your children but for your husbands.
