Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream June 12, 2024

Jun 13, 2024

The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting.  1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said."  1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.

At beginning of meeting, Scripture Reading, parts of Psalm 16 - "Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge; I say to the Lord, "My Lord are you."  They multiply their sorrows who court other gods.  Blood libations to them I will not pour out, nor will I take their names upon my lips.  O Lord, my allotted portion and cup, you it is who hold fast my lot.  I set the Lord ever before me; with him at my right hand I shall not be disturbed.  You will show me the path to life, fullness of joys in your presence, the delights at your right hand forever."

Scripture Reading Psalm 131, Childlike Trust in God - "Yahweh, my heart has no lofty ambitions, my eyes do not look too high.  I am not concerned with great affairs or marvels beyond my scope.  Enough for me to keep my soul tranquil and quiet like a child in its mother's arms, as content as a child that has been weaned.  Israel, rely on Yahweh, now and for always!"

Scripture Reading Sirach 2:7-11 - "You who fear the Lord, wait for his mercy, turn not away lest you fall.  You who fear the Lord, trust him, and your reward will not be lost.  You who fear the Lord, hope for good things, for lasting joy and mercy.  Study the generations long past and understand; has anyone hoped in the Lord and been disappointed?  Has anyone persevered in his fear and been forsaken?  Has anyone called upon him and been rebuffed?  Compassionate and merciful is the Lord;"

Scripture Reading Psalm 62:5-8 - "My soul, wait in silence for God only, for my hope is from him.  He only is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I shall not be shaken.  On God my salvation and my glory rest; the rock of my strength, my refuge is in God.  Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us."

Scripture Reading Psalm 46:10-11 - ""Be still, and know that I am God!  I am exalted among the nations, I am exalted in the earth."  The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge."

Vision/Prophecy - Jesus is standing in the middle of a field and you can see people are walking around, a little shaken, a little scared, and Jesus says, "Come to me, come to me."  He's so gentle.  Some of us crawl underneath his tunic; it's like he's protecting us.  Some of us are at his feet, just gazing up at him.  And Jesus is saying, "Trust me, trust ME.  Do not look at the right and do not look at the left.  Look at me.  Trust me.  I love you with an everlasting love.  Trust me."

Scripture Reading Hosea 2:19-23 - "Israel, I will make you my wife.  I will be true and faithful.  I will show you constant love and mercy and make you mine forever.  I will keep my promise and make you mine and you will acknowledge me as Lord.  At that time I will answer the prayers of my people, Israel.  I will make rain fall on the earth and the earth will produce grain and grapes and olives.  I will establish my people in the land and make them prosper.  I will show love to those who were called "Unloved," and to those who were called "Not-My-People" I will say, "You are my people," and they will answer, "You are our God.""

Word of Knowledge - The Lord is going to free someone of fears and depression.  I think it's a woman.

Teaching

Fr. Dave Swantek spoke on "What is the unforgiveable sin against the Holy Spirit?  (Mark 3:20-30).  It's about our internal disposition.  It's persistent resistance to grace.  Why can't that be forgiven?  Because God is love.  God is merciful.  And if someone doesn't want mercy and is resistant to what God is doing, then God can't forgive them because they don't wish to receive it.  They don't want to change.  The souls in Purgatory want to change.  Fr. Dave used a very interesting way to put the point across.  He used two pop songs:  one was a woman who would not answer her phone and the other was a woman who acknowledged her sin.

As people resist God's grace to change their life, they start resisting helping other people.
