Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream October 4, 2023

The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting.  1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said."  1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good. 

At beginning of meeting Scripture Reading Psalm 91:14-16 - "God says, "I will save those who love me and will protect those who acknowledge me as Lord.  When they call to me, I will answer them; when they are in trouble, I will be with them.  I will rescue them and honor them.  I will reward them with long life; I will save them.""

Prophecy - "Now is the time to give your heart to me, my children.  Give me all your hope, your dream, your hurt, the past, the present and the future.  Flow into my Son for his healing, his forgiveness, his love and friendship.  Do not hold back.  Come, give your all to the Savior of the world.  No one else matters.  He will set you free.  He will set you free.  He will set you free, my children."

Prophecy - "My dearest children, come to me.  Come to me as you are.  Come to me in your brokenness, in your weakness, in your limitations.  Come to me with your joys and your dreaming.  When you come to me, my children, you are worshipping me, honoring me in the fact that I can be there for you, honoring me in the fact that I am your God who saves and heals.  My children, you are so precious to me.  All I desire is that you allow me to love you, to hold you and embrace you.  Allow me to enter into every aspect of your life, leading you, guiding you, healing you.  I love you, my children, I love you."

Scripture Reading Psalm 37:3-5 - "Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness.  Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.  Commit your way to the Lord; trust also in him, and he will do it."

Scripture Reading Isaiah 54 - "Though the mountains leave their place and the hills be shaken, my love shall never leave you nor my covenant of peace be shaken, says the Lord, who has mercy on you."

Teaching

The testimony of Fr. Daniel Reehil - from banker on Wall Street to priest.  Left church for approx. 20 years because of abuse.  Made a lot of money but was unhappy.  In 1998, friend was going to Medjugorje and invited Fr.  A tremendous feeling of goodness kept Fr. there.  Went to a priest for confession.  Priest said, "I think you have a vocation to be a priest."  All things are possible with God.  Prayed for 18 months if Lord wanted him to become a priest.  On November 5, 2000, sitting in the pew after Mass, Fr. heard a voice outside his head say, "Come, follow me."  Fr. Tom DiLorenzo from Boston invited him to Boston.  Then went to be with a contemplative hermit group in Nebraska for 5 years.  There he was taught to be the lamb of sacrifice.  When he went back to New York, no one wanted him because of his age, etc.  So, Fr. said to the Lord, "Maybe I mixed this up.  Maybe I wasn't called to be a priest.  So, I give you this vocation back.  It's yours anyway.  If you want me to be ordained, have a bishop call me."  But he thought that wasn't going to happen and he went back to work.  Three months later, a bishop from Nashville, Tennessee called and invited him.  Six months later, the bishop ordained Fr. a deacon, and 6 months later, a priest.  One time, when Fr. Daniel brought a group to Medjugorje, he saw the priest who heard his confession and said that he thought Fr. had a vocation.  This was 19 years later and the priest remembered him and said, "Oh my, you became a priest."  And he said that he had been praying for Fr. Daniel.  Fr. Daniel says that it's humbling when he looks back and thinks that he had one foot in hell and the other on a banana peel, and now he reflects on the glory and mercy of God.  Fr. Daniel said that he personally knows much Our Lady loves the priests.

Praise Reports

September last year, Elizabeth had asked for prayers for a little baby.  She had problems with breathing, with her lungs and she was flown to a place for an operation.  Last week, Elizabeth received a message to say thank you to the prayer group because she doesn't need any operations.  She had an appointment but the respiratory doctor cancelled it.  3 or 4 appointments were cancelled before.  Her lungs are now working not a 100% but they are really improving.  This has surely been a miracle.

 Leslie J gave thanks that her brother, Anthony is cancer free after 3 years.  And her sister, Beryl, received positive results from her doctor today re the normal function of her organ.  Thank you, Lord.
