Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream October 23, 2024

Oct 26, 2024

The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting.  1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said."  1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.

Scripture Reading at beginning of Mass, Psalm 34:1-3 - "I will always thank the Lord; I will never stop praising him.  I will praise him for what he has done; may all who are oppressed listen and be glad!  Proclaim with me the Lord's greatness; let us praise his name together!

Scripture Reading Psalm 62:6-9 - "My soul, be at rest in God alone, from whom comes my hope.  God alone is my rock and my salvation, my secure height; I shall not fall.  My safety and glory are with God, my strong rock and refuge.  Trust God at all times, my people!  Pour out your hearts to God our refuge!"

Scripture Reading Psalm 144:9-11 - "O God, a new song I will sing to you; with a ten-stringed lyre I will chant your praise.  You who gives victory to kings; and delivered David your servant.  From the evil sword deliver me; and rescue me from the hands of aliens whose mouths swear false promises while their right hands are raised in perjury."

Scripture Reading Luke 12:22-28 - "For this reason I say to you, do not worry about your life, as to what you will eat; nor for your body, as to what you will put on.  For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.  Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds!  And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life's span?  If then you cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about other matters?  Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; but I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.  But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will he clothe you?  You men of little faith!"

Scripture Reading Isaiah 12:2 - "God indeed is my salvation; I am confident and unafraid.  For the Lord is my strength and my might, and he has been my salvation."

Words of Knowledge - Restoration for a son and a mother.  Healing of the knees and the back.  Someone will overcome fear of death in a man and a woman.  Eye surgery will go alright.  A man will get the job he wants.  There's safe travel for someone who is afraid to travel.  A person caring for a family member needs others to help them; the person is burnt out for caring for this family member and they sure need the help of others.  A person's BP will be lowered.  There's prayers against anxiety and depression.

Scripture Reading 1 John 4:11-13 - "Dear friends, if this is how God loved us, then we should love one another.  No one has ever seen God, but if we love one another, God lives in union with us, and his love is made perfect in us.  We are sure that we live in union with God and that he lives in union with us, because he has given us his Spirit."

Scripture Reading John 14:1 - "Do not let your hearts be troubled.  You believe in God, you also believe and trust in me."

Prophecy - "My children, I call you into solitude to let you look into my heart.  But what I give you, you have to ponder in your heart.  Thus you recreate and ? your faith in your soul.  Pray and do all with me even though you find sometimes you have nothing to do.  Then do what you can to help others.  Thus this will fill up treasure in heaven and I take it to my heart and keep it forever safe for you.  Pray.  I bless you."

Prophecy - "Come, come, I come to embrace you again all my beautiful children.  I see the love that comes from you and share that with your brothers and sisters because you are my ambassadors, my true children.  And as you shine with me in you they will receive love because I've given you so much that you can pass on.  Always remember that I am so close to you, very, very close to you.  So keep me in mind as you smile because they are realizing there's more to you, that I am with you, that as you smile and love them they'll realize they need some of what you have to have a full life also, my dearest, dearest, dearest children.  I love you.  I embrace you.  I am always, always so close to you, my dearest, my loves.  Thank you for being so faithful to me.  Thank you, thank you, thank you."

Prophecy - "My little ones, I know that you love me.  I know that you love me but I want you to know that I love you so much more.  My love for you is unconditional.  My love for you is not dependent on what you can do for me.  My love for you does not ask for anything except to let me love you.  Let my love flow to you first.  How else can it flow through you to others?  Let me touch every area of your life.  Let me go through every corner, every little area.  Let me fill it with my love so that I can bring wholeness to you.  My little ones, let me love you. Together we will conquer the world.  Together we will bring victory.  Together, my little ones, we will come in glory before my Father.  I chose you.  Remember, I chose you.  All I ask is to let my love flow in you and through you.  It is all my doing.  You could do nothing for me.  I can do all things for you.  Remember that and let me love you."

Scripture Reading Song of Songs 1:4 - "Draw me in your footstep, let us run.  The king has brought me into his rooms.  You will be our joy and our gladness.  We shall praise your love more than wine.  How right it is to love you."

Teaching

Fr. Dave spoke on "Serving the Lord and Others."  You love the things the other loves because you love that person.  i.e.  his mom and dad.  Why should we serve others - because Jesus came to do this.  "The Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve."  Jesus came down from heaven because we needed him to come.  He came and poured out his life so that we can come home.  He is the Way and the Truth and the Life.

Jesus offered up his suffering for us.  His yes to God in spite of hardships can be ours.  We have a phrase, "Offer it up."  Offer it up doesn't mean tough it up, suck it up.  It means following Jesus.  When Jesus had pain, he didn't grumble.  He offered up to the Father the pain to save you and me.

We feed the hungry, not because they're hungry.  We feed them because Jesus fed the hungry.  Our charity outward is a reflection of our love of God.  We love what God loves because we love him.

We all have suffering of one kind or another.  When that comes into our life, we, Catholics, offer it up to the Lord for our children, grandchildren, etc.  We don't go around snapping at people, etc.

How do we do this more easily.  The answer is the Holy Spirit.  "Holy Spirit, carry my pain to God."  The Holy Spirit is the wind in our sails to carry us home.

Sharing Time:   Ephesians 2, verses 9 to 10 says that we are what He has made us for good works.
