Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream October 16, 2024

Oct 17, 2024

The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting.  1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said."  1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.

Scripture Reading Psalm 37:1-9 - "Be not be vexed over evildoers, nor jealous of those who do wrong.  For like grass, they quickly wither; and like green herbs they wilt.  Trust in the Lord and do good that you may dwell in the land and enjoy security.  Take delight in the Lord and he will grant you your heart's request.  Commit to the Lord your way; trust in him and he will act.  He will make justice dawn for you like the light, bright as the noonday shall be your vindication.  Leave it to the Lord and wait for him.  Do not vex at the successful path of the man who does malicious deeds.  Give up your anger, and forsake God; do not vex, it will only harm you.  For evil doers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the Lord shall possess the land."

Scripture Reading Jeremiah 9:23-24 - "Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, let not the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches; but let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth; for in these things I delight, says the Lord."

Prophecy - "My dear child, how fortunate you are to be blessed by God with such things as my close contact with you.  I wish to draw souls to this contact, to a deeper awareness of my love for all my children.  Pray, pray, pray.  You're very slow to grasp that Satan is only waiting to make you fall.  Thus he is ready to throw all kinds of accusations at you and therefore you are left feeling so much discouraged.  Don't you know my power is such that if you allow me I can shoo him away and let you rest in my arms with joy.  You have your own will to be truthful with yourself.  I'm letting you see how much power you have when you give your heart to me.  My joy is to see you chase Satan away with your prayer.  Pray, pray, pray."

Scripture Reading Psalm 116:1-2 - "I love the Lord, because he hears my voice and my supplications.  Because he has inclined his ear to me, therefore I shall call upon him as long as I live."

Scripture Reading Jeremiah 31:1-3 - "At that time, declared the Lord, I will be the God of all the clans of Israel, and they shall be my people.  Thus says the Lord: The people who survived this sword found grace in the wilderness; when Israel sought for rest, the Lord appeared to him from far away.  I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you."

Prophecy - "Come, come, come, my dearest children, how I love to embrace you.  How I love to see you here spending time with me, my dearest love, my dearest children.  Always remember that I am only a breath away.  Think about me because I have you in my thoughts always.  I'm walking ahead of you.  I'm walking beside you, behind you so that no evil force will come and bother you or penetrate against you. My dearest children, my prize, prized children, thank you, thank you for spending this evening with me.  Thank you, thank you, thank you."

Scripture Reading 1 Cor 1:25 - "For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength."

Prophecy - "My children, I have come to save you, my children, because I love you.  I have not abandoned you even though times are hard and life seems impossible.  Everywhere you turn around there is evil, there is distress, there is rebellion, there is retaliation.  There are all forms of dissention.  This is part of life, I'm afraid my children. It comes and it goes but that does not mean that I come and I go because I am always with you in the midst of it all.  Tonight, I'm asking you to turn to me with all of your temptations, your sinful tendencies, with all of those broken lies and deceptions that you've been telling yourself from the broken world that has implanted this within your heart.  I desire to make you whole and the only way I can do this is if you surrender all of these weaknesses and limitations to me.  Remember, my children, that I am more powerful than all the darkness that exists in this world.  Come, my children, come.  Do not fear, do not fear the hard work that it takes to be able to surrender that, to be able to face those dark times.  So you must walk through those dark times much as I had to walk through the Passion in order to gain the Resurrection.  Believe, my children, in the Resurrection.  It is real, it is true and my truth will always reign over the lies of this world."

Teaching

Chris Stefanick spoke on the Four Lies We Believe.  When John Paul II was bishop in Krakow, the Communists were in charge.  They tried to crush crush culture and the Catholic faith.  They made a town, called New Town, in John Paul's diocese.  It had no Catholic Church.  They were going to make work not family the center of life.  Everybody was miserable.  At Christmas, John Paul would go and celebrate Mass out in the snow.  He became Pope and when he came back 2 years later, 3 million people came out to greet him chanting, "We want God."

As Pope John Paul II toured his country, he told the people, "You are not who they say you are.  Let me remind you who you are."  The Gospel of Jesus Christ doesn't just show us who God is.  It shows us who we are.  It shows what life is all about.  We have the best news in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We need the courage of John Paul II to share it with the world.  As people leave faith, they leave hope behind.

God is love.  He created us for eternal joy.  God says, "I just want my son/daughter to come home."  Chris shared the time when his four-year-old son went missing on a camping trip and his cry to God.

BUT gets in the way of sharing the gospel.

1) But I'm not famous.  I'm not on stage.  The stage is wherever you are.

2) But I'm afraid.  What if it doesn't go well.  It won't always go well.  God is bigger than that person we're talking to.  God is with you as you speak to that person.  We have fear of the wrong things.  We have fear of what everybody thinks of us, except for God.  Fear the Word, "If you deny me before men, I will deny you before my Heavenly Father."  Fear the idea of somebody going to Hell and asking you, "Why didn't you tell me?

3) But it's awkward.  Sometimes, it is awkward.  Story of Chris' wife's grandma at her deathbed. What if we don't say something.

4) But I don't know what to say.  Just say something.  Be yourself.  There is not one way to evangelize.  The way is dictated by where the person is at.  Ask the Lord and he will show you what to say.  He wants you to strain your heart and say, "Father, what does that person need to hear?"  We need to step outside our comfort zone.  God's answer to the world's needs is YOU.  2/3 of God's name is Go.
