Scripture Reading Psalm 37:1-5 - "Do not fret because of the wicked.  Do not be envious of wrongdoers for they will soon fade like the grass, and wither like the green herb.  Trust in the Lord and do good; that you will dwell in the land and be nourished in safety.  Take delight in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.  Commit your way to the Lord.  Trust in him and he will act."

Scripture Reading Psalm 27:1, In God's company there is no fear - "Yahweh is my light and my salvation, whom need I fear?  Yahweh is the fortress of my life, of whom should I be afraid?"

Scripture Reading Psalm 9:1-2 - "I will thanks to the Lord with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders.  I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High."

Scripture Reading 1 Kings 8:10-13 - "Now when the priests came out of the sanctuary, the cloud filled the temple of the Lord God and because of the cloud, the priests could no longer perform their duties.  The glory of God filled God's temple.  And Solomon said, "God has chosen to dwell in the thick cloud; yes, I have built you a dwelling, a place for you to live in forever."

Word of Knowledge - "Last Friday, I was going over all the prophecies and Scripture readings from our Wednesday night prayer meeting and I was struck by the words that were so similar.  It was as if the Lord had a very direct pointed message for us.  There was such unity.  And then, after that, I was reading the reflection from the Word Among Us and it talks about St. Augustine and how he said that there are like two invisible cities; the City of God where the Lord is present and the people worship Jesus as Lord, and then the earthly city where the people really don't pay attention to God.  And all of a sudden it struck me, Wednesday night prayer meetings are the City of God.  It's where God dwells in our presence as we praise him, listen to words of prophecy, and he blesses us and I think, very, very directly guiding us in how to live in these times.  I was so in awe of that, that I thought I would share it with you."

Scripture Reading Acts 2:17-21 - "In the days to come - It is the Lord who speaks - I will pour out my spirit on all mankind.  Their sons and daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams.  Even on my slaves, men and women, in those days, I will pour out my spirit.  I will display portents in heaven above and signs on earth below.  The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the gread Day of the Lord dawns.  All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Scripture Reading1 Cor 4:1-2 - "You should think of us as Christ's servants who have been put in charge of God's secret truths.  The one thing required of such servants is that they be faithfull to their master."

Prophecy/Scripture Reading - "Do not be sad, my people, for there is much to be joyful about.  You have air, you have food, you have water, and love, my love.  And I will never leave you or forsake you."  John 15:10-11 - "When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father's commandments and remain in his love.  I have told you these things so you will be filled with my joy.  Yes, your joy will overflow."

Prophecy - "My little ones, my chosen ones, how pleased I am with you, how beautiful the sound of your praise in my ears.  My little ones, you have nothing to fear.  You have everything to hope for.  Set your hearts on me and I will lead you in places you have never thought possible.  I will open doors for you. I will break down walls for you.  My little ones, you are in my care.  There is no place safer than in my hands.  Trust me.  I will lead you, I will guide you, I will provide for you, I will give you more than you need so that you can share with others who have not.  Remember, my little ones, I have given you aplenty and I will expect you to give as much, and you will never run out.  Do not be afraid.  Share my word, share my Spirit, share my joy, share my hope, share faith.  My little ones, the more you give, the more you will receive.  You are blessed.  You are chosen.  You are beloved."

Scripture Reading Romans 12:2 - "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."

Teaching

Leslie spoke on "Knowing God's Will".  If we make decisions in a humble and childlike faith, we will be able to look back and realize that God has been working in our lives all along even when we couldn't see it.  Ask God for his plan in your life.  Psalm 32:8 - "I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go."  Romans 12:2.  There is a directive will of God.  God may speak to us in dreams or visions.  Matt 2:13 - Joseph was told in a dream to take Jesus and his mother and flee to Egypt and to remain there for Herod was about to search for the child and destroy him.  Six guiding principles for knowing God's will:  1) Surrender your personal desire as you seek God's will.  Psalm 37:4 - "Take delight in the Lord and he will give you your heart's desire."  2) Meditate on God's Word.  Psalm 119:105 - "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."  3) Spend focused time in prayer.  James 1:6-8 - "But when you pray, you must believe and not doubt at all, whoever doubts is like a wave in the sea that is driven and blown about by the wind."  4) Seek other people's advice, but don't let other people make your decision.  5) Consider your circumstances.  Not all obstacles are closed doors.  Some are just things that you have to overcome.  On the other hand, just because a door is open doesn't mean you have to walk through it.  6) Think about your decision logically.  Reason and common sense.  John 14:26 - "The Holy Spirit will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you."  Prayer of St. Ignatius:  "May it please the supreme and divine Goodness to give us all abundant grace ever to know His most Holy Will and perfectly to fulfill it."

Testimony

Joe entitled his sharing, "Question of Judgment.  He spoke of a time he judged someone on their appearance when they were public speaking.  He had a reaction that was not good.  Joe reflected on his reaction.  Some insights were that he had some negative thoughts about this person whom he knew and that he, too, liked to dress well when he gave a talk or went to church.  Joe's motives are pure; he dresses up for respect for the Lord.  His insight was that he was disgusted about something he did himself.  Secondly, he had some negative feelings towards this person and this made him not like his talk either.  Joe repented of his erroneous thinking and felt he should relisten to this person's talk on YouTube.  When he did this, he found out it was really good.  Romans 2:24 - "So no matter who you are, if you pass judgment you have no excuse.  It is yourself that you condemn when you judge others, since you behave in the same way as those you are condemning.  We are well aware that people who behave like that are justly condemned by God.  But, you, when you judge those who behave like this while you are doing the same yourself, do you think you will escape God's condemnation?  Or are you not disregarding his abundant goodness, tolerance and patience, failing to realise that this generosity of God is meant to bring you to repentance?"  Joe ended with, "I'm so glad I caught that one.  Praise the Lord!"

Praise Reports

David gave an update on Drew who had a motorcycle accident, was told he would be a quadriplegic, changed next day to - he will fully recover, now has stood up (just two weeks after the accident).  Praise God!!

David shared about another person who found out at the outbreak of COVID that he needed a heart transplant.  He had congestive heart failure, 10% of pushing out blood.  All operations were shut down because of COVID.  They were going to start operations again.  He was measured again and he was down to 7%.  This was almost after a year.  They were waiting for a suitable heart.  People have been praying for him.  At his next measurement in September, the doctor said, "I've never seen this.  100%."  This past month, he went in again just to make sure.  100%.  The doctor said, "You've got the heart of a 30-year-old.  You've got a brand new heart.  I've never seen anybody who has had that type of heart failure ever recover if it was more than two months.  You've gone a year.  The only explanation is God." .......Nothing is impossible with the Lord!

Robin, a pilot, has just now been able to make his first flight since being laid off due to COVID.  An answer to prayer.

Pat's husband is home after his surgery, not using a cane, not using a walker.  Praise the Lord!!

Last Friday, a day with terrible weather, Patt and her husband went out for their daily cup of coffee.  The car got stuck in a back lane.  Patt's car door opened only 4 inches.  Her husband shovelled but the car could move.  Patt could not move over the console to drive while he would push the car.  There was no one around.  He went back to shovelling, slipped and fell, ripped the door handle off.  Patt's prayer, "Jesus, help!"  The Archangel showed up.  That man's business is literally called, "Archangel", and he got them out.....Patt thinks God has a real sense of humor.

Maria K. was at work today.  It was very windy and icy.  Before going out, she said out loud, "Oh my goodness, I'm scared to walk."  This man from work heard this, put out his hand and prayed Psalm 91 over her.  She walked across to her destination and back and there wasn't a bit of ice.  It was amazing and the last thing Maria expected was someone at work to pray out loud Psalm 91 over her.

We had prayed for Chris who had abdominal pain.  He's doing much better.
