The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting. 1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said." 1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.
Vision - When we were singing, "Here We Are", I had a vision of Jesus up in Heaven. He was reaching his arms down to us. He was lovingly touching our hands as we lifted them up to him. He was blessing us. He was so happy with our praise and worship.
Scripture Reading Psalm 18:1-6 - "I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, so I shall be saved from my enemies. The cords of death encompassed me; the torrents of perdition assailed me; the cords of Sheol entangled me; the snares of death confronted me. In my distress I called upon the Lord; to my God I cried for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears."
Prophecy - "My children, tonight I want to reveal to you how much I love you, but more than anything I want to reveal to you how much I have been there for you. I have carried you through much darkness, trials and tribulations. I have carried you through pain and suffering. I have carried you in your joy as well as all in your sadness. I have carried you within your family and within your community. I have seen your dedication and your faithfulness toward me. I have seen the ways you've expressed your love for me through your participation in the Mass, the participation within this prayer group, your participation in whatever ministry I have called each and every one of you. And for this my heart rejoices and I say thank you, my children, for you have given me the gift that is beyond words. You have given me a reassurance of hope in this world. You, my children, are my hope and my joy. And it is you, my children, I am calling to bring to this world this good news, to spread to my people that there is hope in the midst of their suffering. Yes, trials and tribulations will continue to reign here on earth but my strength, my courage and my wisdom, that wisdom in the depths of your heart will always overcome whatever may be presented before you. I'm asking you tonight to place a deeper trust in me for I will not abandon my little ones. Faith in me is in much need of continued guidance on this journey here on earth. My children, go in peace and know that I am with you now, tomorrow and in the days to come."
Scripture Reading Ephesians 3:16-20 - "I ask God from the wealth of his glory to give you power through his Spirit to be strong in your inner selves, and I pray that Christ will make his home in your hearts through faith. I pray that you may have your roots and foundation in love, so that you, together with all God's people, may have the power to understand how broad and long, how high and deep, is Christ's love. Yes, may you come to know his love - although it can never be fully known - and so be completely filled with the very nature of God. To him who by means of his power working in us is able to do so much more than we can ever ask for, or even think of: to God be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus for all time, forever and ever! Amen."
Scripture Reading Psalm 62:5-8 - "My soul waits in silence for God only, for my hope is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I shall not be shaken. On God my salvation and my glory rests; the rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us."
Words of Knowledge - The Lord will heal someone who has fears about going in a shopping centre at this time of year due to panic attacks. A man desiring to give up alcohol will be healed. Someone will be healed of blurry vision, sore feet and hands. A man stressed out and depressed from overwork will be healed. A baby, approximately 9 months old, having trouble swallowing. Someone will be healed of dizziness, someone of cancer and someone of Covid, and a house will be sold.
Scripture Reading Psalm 56:1-13 - "Be merciful to me, O God, because I am under attack; my enemies persecute me all the time. All day long my opponents attack me. There are so many who fight against me. When I am afraid, O Lord Almighty, I put my trust in you. I trust in God and am not afraid; I praise him for what he has promised. What can a mere human being do to me? My enemies make trouble for me all day long; they are always thinking up some way to hurt me! They gather in hiding places and watch everything I do, hoping to kill me. Punish them, O God, for their evil; defeat those people in your anger! You know how troubled I am; you have kept a record of my tears. Aren't they listed in your book? The day I call to you, my enemies will be turned back. I know this: God is on my side - the Lord, whose promises I praise. In him, I trust, and I will not be afraid. What can a mere human being do to me? O God, I will offer you what I have promised; I will give you my offering of thanksgiving, because you have rescued me from death and kept me from defeat. And so I walk in the presence of God, in the light that shines on the living."
Prophecy - "My children, the answer is yes. Your fight is over. Your struggles are over. Your fear is over. My children, I know you need something to hold onto to know I am real. My answer is yes."
Word of Knowledge - "Tonight, my children, I am giving you faith that will give the endurance and the perseverance that you will need in the days to come."
Prophecy - "Come, come. I've come to embrace you again. I've come to love you, my dearest ones. I see you hearts are joyful. I see your hearts are sad. I want you all to come because I've come for you. I come because I love you so dearly. Wait patiently because I'm coming all the time. Give me a moment and I will be there. You will realize I am there. Come, come, my children."
Word of Knowledge - There are two people who have headaches and the Lord wants to heal them.
Jesus Heals Today Part 2 by Fr. Robert DeGrandis. The Holy Spirit works through Sacrament, Scripture, Prayer and Charisms. The Holy Spirit works most dynamically through Sacrament: the Eucharist, the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Ways to evangelize: sharing literature and sharing our witness. We should be sources of inspiration for each other by sharing our witness. Pray for the sick as often as possible. Trust in love of Jesus to heal. The Lord Jesus loves that person more than we do. Be a channel. Lay hands when reasonably possible and appropriate. Dr. Larry Dorsey: There are over a hundred studies done at universities that prove that prayer affects health. Hemoglobin count increases with touch. In the Scriptures - Lay hands upon the sick and they shall recover. Surrender your life into the hands of Jesus. Praise the Lord as much as you can. Believe in the words of Jesus regardless of what is happening. Matthew 21 - Jesus says, I tell you if you have faith and do not doubt at all, not only will you do what I've done to the fig tree but you say to this mountain get up and throw yourself into the sea and it will be done. And if you have faith everything you ask for you will receive. You can't work up faith, it's a gift of the Lord. The way Fr. DeGrandis has resolved this is "openness", your openness to the Lord. You dispose yourself to it but you can't command it. Most Catholics don't expect to be healed. There is always healing on some level when there is prayer. Forgive all who have hurt you - act of the will. 1 John 4:16 - God is love.
Mark started to wean off his prednisone and he kept expecting his symptoms to show up each morning and they're not showing up. He got prayed over twice - two different prayer teams, a couple of months ago and then just last week. All day today, he was waiting to take some Tylenol but he didn't have to take anything today. He knows the symptoms he should be having but he's not having them. He still has residual muscle pain from chronic pain for so many years. He's going to keep us posted and he hopes to have further news next Wednesday. Thanks be to God! Later in the meeting, Mark added that he was eating supper tonight and he hadn't had TMJ in his jaw for a very long time. He put his hand on his hand on his jaw and said something like, "Be healed by the blood of Christ," and he kept on eating. He forgot about it until just now that he had done that. Secondly, after Joe spoke, the residual muscle pain is gone - not completely but it's better than five minutes ago. Praise the Lord!
Giovanna had asked for prayer for her sister-in-law, Lydia, because they didn't know what was going on with her. All of a sudden, she seems to be healed of a lot of her things that were going on with her. She doesn't feel dizzy anymore, she's off some medication. She's feeling really energetic and she's able to function and work, hasn't used her walker in a long time. Praise God.
