Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream May 22, 2024

May 25, 2024

The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting.  1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said."  1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.

At beginning of meeting Scripture Reading Psalm 121, The Lord is Our Guardian - "I lift up my eyes towards the mountains; whence shall help come to me?  My help is from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.  May he not suffer your foot to slip; may he slumber not who guards you; indeed he neither slumbers nor sleeps, the guardian of Israel.  The Lord is your guardian; the Lord is your shade; he is beside you at your right hand.  The sun shall not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.  The Lord will guard you from all evil; he will guard your life.  The Lord will guard your coming and your going, both now and forever."

Scripture Reading Zechariah 5:1-4, The Flying Scroll - "Then I lifted up my eyes again and saw a scroll flying.  "What do you see?" he asked.  And I answered, "I see a scroll flying; it is twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide."  Then he said to me, "This is the curse which is to go forth over the whole earth; in accordance with it shall every thief be swept away, and in accordance with it shall every perjurer be expelled from here.  I will send it forth, says the Lord of hosts, and it shall come into the house of the thief, or into the house of him who perjures himself with my name; it shall lodge within his house, consuming it, timber and stones.""

Scripture Reading John 8:12 - "Then Jesus again spoke to them saying, "I am the light of the world; he who follow me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life."

Prophecy - I heard the Lord say very loud three times, "People, people, hear my call."  And it was like he was shouting very loud.

Scripture Reading Jeremiah 31:3 & 33 - "I have loved you with an everlasting love.  Deep within them I will plant my law, writing it on their hearts.  Then, I will be their God and they shall be my people.  It will all be since I will forgive their inequity and never call their sins to mind."

Scripture Reading Psalm 34:1-  - "I will bless Yahweh at all times, his praise shall be on my lips continually; my soul glories in Yahweh, let the humble hear and rejoice.  Proclaim with me the greatness of Yahweh, together let us extol his name.  I seek Yahweh, and he answers me and frees me from all my fears."

Hymn -  "Alone with none but thee, my God, alone with none but thee, my God, I journey on my way.  Alone with none but thee, my God, we journey on our way.  Thus, what need we fear, what need we fear when thou art near, O King of night and day?"

Prophetic sense - These words keep running through my mind:  "The Lord dwells in the praises of his people."

Prophecy - My children, I call you by night.  I call you by day.  I call you by this moment.  Come to me, my children, hear my voice.  I desire to speak to you tenderly, to speak to you in the quiet, in the silence of your heart, for I am a God of love and I want to reveal to you my love, my mercy.  Yes, my children, there is suffering, but in the suffering there is glory and my glory reigns in all suffering if you but turn to me as I call you, and I will touch you and heal you."

Teaching

A meditation on Psalm 121.  A link to this teaching was sent to all in our group.

Praise Reports

Leslie's nephew who had gangrene or flesh eating disease and had four operations is back home.  Leslie thanked everyone for their prayers and said how good the Lord is!

Rosalie's daughter who is going through a divorce and has had some very difficult challenges in her life, let alone recently, fell away from the church.  Little by little Rosalie brought things up to her without saying too much and Rosalie lifted her up in prayer many times during our meetings. Recently, her daughter went to confession and she's been going to church just about every week.  Thank you, Lord!
