Vision/Prophecy - I saw rays of the sun and it was pouring out during the praise and worship and then I heard the Lord say, "I know your hearts.  I know all of your needs that is why I have called you here, that is why you are here."  And then I just felt this outpouring, like an anointing this evening.

Words of Knowledge - The Lord will find someone a job.  He will heal lumps in the throat - I don't know if they're benign or cancerous.  Will heal constipation.  Will find a new home for someone.  Bring a wayward child home and healing of the memories.

Scripture Reading Psalm 103:1-5 - "Praise the Lord, my soul; all my being praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul; and do not forget how kind he is - he forgives all my sins, and heals all my diseases.  He keeps me from the grave, and blesses me with love and mercy.  He fills my life with good things; so that I stay young and strong like an eagle."

Scripture Reading John 14:27 - "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.  Not as the world gives do I give it to you.  Do not let your hearts be troubled nor let it be fearful."

Prophecy - "Do not despair.  I give you my joy and know that I am with you.  I'm right beside you."

Scripture Reading Luke 6:20-23, True Happiness - "Happy are those who know they are spiritually poor; the Kingdom of heaven belongs to them!  Happy are those who mourn; God will comfort them!  Happy are those who are humble; they will receive what God has promised!  Happy are those whose greatest desire is to do what God requires; God will satisfy them fully!  Happy are those who are merciful to others; God will be merciful to them!  Happy are the pure in heart; they will see God!  Happy are those who work for peace; God will call them his children!  Happy are those who are persecuted because they do what God requires; the Kingdom of heaven belongs to them!  Happy are you when people insult you and persecute you and tell all kinds of evil lies against you because you are my followers.  Be happy and glad, for a great reward is kept for you in heaven.  This is how the prophets who lived before you were persecuted."

Prophecy - When we were singing, "God, I need you," I felt Jesus saying, "My children, I need you, too.  You are my hands and feet to reach the lost, the forsaken and the poor.  I need to hear that you are willing do my work.  I will not force it on you.  All I need is your yes, I will do the rest.  I'll bring the people to you and gift you in all things that you need to help my people, so that they can know me and of my power."

Prophecy - "Above all things, my little ones, guard your peace.  Do not let your hearts be troubled.  Do not let the enemy lead you astray by any thought.  I am always with you, always for you.  No matter what I call you to, I ask that you remain at peace.  Do not be afraid, do not be worried of what you are to say or what you are to do.  Guard your peace and you will hear me more clearly.  You will see me.  Guard your peace.  Keep your peace."

Confirmation - I want to confirm "to protect yourself".  And the sense came that it's a very important time; it's always important to pray that protection.

That just reminds of the Gospel reading that has been going through the past couple of days:  the Good Shepherd, Jesus.  That's the person we should be listening to.  That is the way you should be going.    He is the Way.  There is no other way.  He is the gate.  He is the good shepherd always guarding us.  In John 10, if it's not the shepherd taking care of his sheep, if it's the hired hand, that person doesn't really do it with that kind of love that the shepherd does take care of his sheep.  We need to remember Jesus who's our shepherd, who's taking care of us because he loves us, not because there is any other reason.

Scripture Reading Psalm 1:1-3 - "Happy those who do not follow the counsel of the wicked, nor go the way of sinners, not sit in company with scoffers.  Rather, the law of the Lord is their joy; God's law they study day and night.  They are like a tree planted near streams of water, that yields its fruit in season; its leaves never wither; whatever they do prospers."

Teaching

A video of Fr. Mark Goring speaking on Purgatory.  St. Paul tells us that our citizenship is in heaven.  Fr. Mark referred to the book, "The Amazing Story of Purgatory," in which the author interviewed a mystic, Maria Simma, to whom persons in purgatory would visit.  Why does one go to purgatory?  Response:  Sins against charity, against the love of one's neighbor, hardness of heart.  We must not judge on appearances as to whether someone is in purgatory or not.  St. Therese of Lisieux:  "It's wrong to assume you are going to go to purgatory.  As soon as you try to please God in everything and have an unshakeable trust, he purifies you every moment in his love and he lets no sin remain and then you can be sure that you will not have to go to purgatory."  The Little Flower even went further than that:  She truly thought that it was offending God if one didn't trust enough that he/she would go straight to heaven.  St. John of the Cross:  "Divine Providence puts enough difficulties in our life: trials, suffering, sicknesses, hardships; so that all these purifications may be enough to bring us straight to heaven, of course, if we accept them."

Sharing Time

Catechism 1472 - "To understand this doctrine and practice of the Church, it is necessary to understand that sin has a double consequence. Grave sin deprives us of communion with God and therefore makes us incapable of eternal life, the privation of which is called the "eternal punishment" of sin.  On the other hand every sin, even venial, entails an unhealthy attachment to creatures, which must be purified either here on earth, or after death in the state called Purgatory.   This purification frees one from what is called the "temporal punishment" of sin.  These two punishments must not be conceived of as a kind of vengeance inflicted by God from without, but as following from the very nature of sin.  A conversion which proceeds from a fervent charity can attain the complete purification of the sinner in such a way that no punishment would remain."
