Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream June 28, 2023

Jun 29, 2023

The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting.  1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said."  1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.

Scripture Reading Isaiah 19:1-4, An oracle concerning Egypt - "See, the Lord is riding on a swift cloud and comes to Egypt; the idols of Egypt will tremble at his presence, and the heart of the Egyptians will melt within them.  I will stir up Egyptians against Egyptians, and they will fight, one against the other, neighbor against neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom; the spirit of the Egyptians within them will be emptied out, and I will confound their plans; they will consult the idols and the spirits of the dead and the ghosts and the familiar spirits; I will deliver the Egyptians into the hand of a hard master; a fierce king will rule over them, says the Sovereign, the Lord of hosts."

Prophecy - "My dearest child, I am your Father, you are my beloved child, my beautiful baby.  I'm here for you.  I will be there when you start to walk and you fall and I will hold you and wipe away your tears.  My beautiful child, I will be there when you ride your first bike and you fall and I will lift you up and I will be behind you as you journey on that bike.  My beautiful child, do not fear when trouble comes your way for I am your parent, I am your Daddy and I will hold your hand and we will go through those troubles and those trials together, my child.  So, my beloved child, as you grow I want you to know that I will not abandon you.  I will be there in all the different stages in your life; in the joys, in the sadness, in the hopes and the dreams and in all that life bestows you.  When dark times come, my beautiful child, you will not be alone.  I will be there with you, holding your hand, talking to you, walking through the fear, through the trials and tribulations that this world will bestow upon you, my child.  My beautiful child, how I love you and how precious you are to me.  Know that I am with you til the end of time."

Scripture Reading Psalm 103:1-9 - "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all my being bless his holy name.  Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.  He pardoned all your inequities, he healed all your ills, he redeemed your life from destruction, he crowned you with kindness and compassion, he filled your lifetime with good, your youth is renewed like the eagle's.  The Lord secures justice and the rights of all the oppressed.  He has made known his ways to Moses and his deeds to the children of Israel.  Merciful and gracious is the Lord, slow to anger, abounding in kindness.  He will not always chide nor does he keep his wrath forever."

Confirmation of the prophecy

Scripture Reading Psalm 62:5-8 - "For God alone my soul waits in silence, for my hope is from him.  He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken.  On God rests my deliverance and my honor; my mighty rock, my refuge is in God.  Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts before him; God is a refuge for us."

Prophecy - "My children, I am here.  Good things are coming.  You will see my wonders.  You will see that I am your Savior.  You will see that I am only here to do good.  I am always by your side.  I am always one step ahead of you.  Good things will come.  Trust me, my children, good is on its way."

Scripture Reading Psalm 16:7-9 - I believe that this word is for someone in the group.  "I bless the Lord who counsels me; even at night my heart exhorts me.  I set the Lord always before me; with him at my right hand, I shall never be disturbed.  Therefore my heart is glad, my soul rejoices; my body too abides in confidence."

Prophecy - "Come, come, my children, I've come here to embrace you, to bless you, to draw you close to myself.  I love you very deeply and I'm walking ahead of you.  I'm walking scouting out all the situations that might come against you and I will put them to rest because I love you.  You are under my wings of love.  You are under my banner of joy.  Rejoice always in me.  Think about me and I will always bless you because I am always within a breath of air between us, in us and around us.  I am always mingling myself in all your situations so that you will never have to make a false step.  Keep looking, keep looking, keep looking as I am out looking for you ahead of you, my dearest, dearest, dearest children."

Teaching

Fr. Robert Miller spoke on "Shame - Tool of the Enemy".  We are Christians because of our hope in God.  Romans 7:18 - 8:2 - "I know that no good dwells in me that is in my flesh.  Desire to do right is there but not the power.  So what happens is that I do not the good I want to do but the evil I do not intend.  My inner self agrees with the law of God but I see in my body's members another law at work with the law of my mind and that makes me prisoner of the law of sin that dwells in my member.  What a wretched man I am!  Who can free me from this body under the power of death?  All praise to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!  So there's no condemnation now for those who are in Christ Jesus.  The law of the Spirit, the Spirit of life in Jesus frees you from the law of sin and death."  There's a problem of shame and sin.  What keeps us from God?  Outer things:  feeling tired, stresses, unforgiveness.  Inner things:  fear, anxiety, control and unhealthy shame.  Our inadequacies plague us.  Healthy shame:  "I made a mistake and I can repair it."  Unhealthy shame:  "I am a mistake."  This is a lie from the Evil One to pull us away from the compassion and love of God the Father.  There are two forces competing for our soul.  Challenge for us to become aware.  John 8:32 - "You will know the truth and truth shall set you free."   God wants to make us whole so we can go and infect the world.  God wants to connect us.  John 17:21 - "Father, may they be one as we are one."  The power of evil pulls apart.  1 Thess 4:13 - Paul says, "I don't you want you to be ignorant of this."  Shame affects every level of our being.  We isolate ourselves, develop a false self.  Three things to focus on:  discovery, uncovering, recovery.  Discovery - Recognize shame.  Recognize negative voices.  Uncovering - Take the mask off.  What is your shame story?  Recovery -  Return to the One who created you, beautiful in the eyes of God.  Romans 10:1 - "Anyone who trusts in the Lord will never be put to shame."  Galatians 2:20 - "I have been crucified with Christ.  It is no longer who lives but Jesus that lives in me."  John 3:17 - "Jesus came not to condemn the world."  He came that we might be free.

Sharing

Pat B shared that during the talk, she sensed that the Lord brought my right hand to himself and kissed it and he brought his left hand to himself and he put both my hands on his face and now my hands feel healed.

Praise Reports

Joe and Joan shared the following:  Last Friday, after midnight our granddaughter and her boyfriend were driving on the 401 after doing photos for a pre - wedding party. They were hit from behind by a fast moving car, rolled several times into a ditch and landed on the driver's side. The back of the car was smashed, the front was smashed and the car that hit them burst into flames! Yet they both were unharmed with only bruises and scratches !!! Our daughter, granddaughter and a policeman said it was a miracle that they got out alive !  I am convinced that the prayers we say each day for our family continue to protect them!  I told our granddaughter that we pray everyday for all our family. She said : " then, it was the prayer that saved us."  Yes, thank you, Lord!!!!!  The driver of the car that hit them got out before his car caught fire.

Helen thanked the people who prayed for her when we had the small group sessions.  Her niece and husband came for a visit and it was a wonderful time.

Maria K shared about a man whom Maria has known for a long time.  He had left the church, went into New Age.  He recently rediscovered the love for Christ and he has completely joined the church.  Maria believes it's because of all the prayers.  Maria wanted to thank God so much!

Rosalie shared that Shaun wanted to have his daughter baptized which happened last Friday and she's thankful for that.
