Prophecy - "???...Trust in the strength of the Lord that he gives us and pray, pray, constantly because things are going to get very hard for us and we have to pray not only for us but for all those around us for strength for the battle."

Scripture Reading Psalm 62:6-9 - "My soul, be at rest in God alone, from whom comes my hope.  God alone is my rock and my salvation, my secure height; I shall not fall.  My safety and glory are with God, my strong rock and refuge.  Trust God at all times, my people!  Pour out your hearts to God our refuge!"

Confirmation/Prophecy/Scripture Reading - "Trust me, trust me, trust me.  Peace is coming. Trust me."   Joel 3:1 - "After this, I will pour out my spirit on all mankind.  Your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men see visions."

Scripture Reading Psalm 34:1-3 - "I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.  My soul will make its boast in the Lord; the humble will hear it and rejoice.  O magnify the Lord with me and let us exult his name together."

Vision - I'm going to describe a vision that came to mind that I had 35 years ago or so.  I saw Jesus' feet walking in very cold water, hard stance.  And somebody else saw his hands.  And I was holding onto that hand.  One of the songs were we're holding God's hands; we're holding God's hands as we go through our life.

Prophecy/Scripture Reading - I got the word, "Perseverance."  Galatians 6:9 - "Let us not become weary in doing good for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

Prophecy at end of meeting - "Keep praying, keep hoping because I do not retire."

Teaching

Fr. Mark Goring - The Lord speaks to us and we should learn to hear his still small voice in our hearts.  One young person has been journaling for awhile and at the end of every month, she reviews what she wrote in her journal and she tries to focus on a title that describes how the Lord has been working in her life.  i.e.  One month - "The Lord is my anchor."   What a beautiful intimacy with the Lord!  She is growing in her relationship.  The Lord is trying to turn us into his masterpiece.  Sirach 2:1 - "My child, when you come to serve the Lord, prepare yourself for an ordeal."  Matthew Kelly's latest book - "Life is Messy".  When we follow the Lord, that's how he teaches us by taking us on this wonderful adventure full of ordeal.  If we've encountered the Lord, our perspective on this is completely different from someone who hasn't come to know how good the Lord is.  St. Paul says, "Whoever is in Christ is a new creation.  The old things have passed away.  Behold, new things have come."  Since Fr. Mark has encountered the Lord, he has always felt loved.  He doesn't feel alone.  St. Paul says, "You're not orphans anymore.  You're children of God."  We have a Father in heaven who loves us unconditionally.  He doesn't want us to feel like slaves anymore.  He wants us to know that we're sons and daughters, loved unconditionally.  Sometimes, we go through trauma and it's no joke.  But even in these awful tragedies, we have people who stand up and give testimony in how the Lord got them through.  The Lord wants to give us supernatural grace, so we can truly say, "I am a new creation."  We have to be aware what we cycle through our minds.  It's bad to cycle bad thoughts, toxic thoughts.  If we stand on God's word and we remember these beautiful truths, and allow his truth to burn in our hearts, God will give us the grace to be light in the darkness.  That's what our world needs right now, desperately.  Now is a great time to let our light shine!  Consider sharing your testimony.

Testimony

The title of Joe's sharing was, "Lord, can I retire?"  Joe has been a Spiritual Care volunteer for Catholics at the Civic Hospital; visiting the sick, bringing the message of Christ to them in the context of bringing them the Eucharist.  He checked with the Holy Spirit as to how he should approach each one in their particular circumstance.  Whenever he asked, "Would you like me to say a prayer for you?", the answer most times was, "Yes."  He found that people in the hospital were much more open to the Gospel.  He has led people to Jesus.  He has used the picture of Jesus and prayer that Msgr. Stan Jaworski uses and it ministered to many people.  Two years ago, Joe was nearing his 85th birthday and he felt that he should retire; less stamina, etc.  But he hadn't consulted the Lord if he wanted him to retire.  So, during his hour of Adoration, he said, "Lord, you know my case and I'd like to retire.  It would be so nice for me to just stay at home on Thursdays instead of rushing out, and having my breakfast in peace, enjoying my old age, but Lord, I'm not sure what your word is for me."  In the quietness of his heart, Joe heard the Lord say, "Go to Ecclesiastes 7, verse 35."  He didn't know what Ecclesiastes 7, verse 35 said.  He didn't think there were 35 verses in Ecclesiastes 7, so, he started to read from verse 1, onwards.  Finally, he came to verse 35, "Do not hesitate to visit the sick."  So, that was pretty clear and he continued to work until the lockdown.  Fr. Michael had mentioned that the word, "retirement", is not in the bible.  So, Joe will keep going until his last breath.
