The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting. 1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said." 1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.
Prophecy - "My children, I gave my Son for you. Have you any idea how precious you are to me?"
Scripture Reading John 4:23 - "But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. Confirmation/Vision - I confirm those readings. I kept seeing this river of water and the sense was that: water for renewing, for healing, and a strong sense that these waters are there for us, these baptismal waters.
Confirmation - I can confirm the reading from John 4 because I got just about the same thing.
Scripture Reading Wisdom 9:9-10 - "With you is wisdom, she who knows your works and was present when you made the world; she understands what is pleasing in your sight and what is right according to your commandments. Send her forth from the holy heavens, and from the throne of your glory send her, that she may labor at my side, and that I may learn what is pleasing to you."
Prophecy - "Be still and know that I am God and know that you can trust me in all things."
Prophecy - "Tonight, I give you the gift of authority, authority over everything that you are fighting for. Everything that is coming against you, I give you authority, authority to command, in my name, to be gone. I give you authority."
As believers in Jesus, we look forward to a time when God will unite all nations across the world under his rule.
In the first song, the lyrics said, "Awake the kingdom seed in us." We pray that the Lord will awaken us so that we can evangelize and win this nation.
Confirmation - I want to confirm the word, "command". I was actually praying that for some people, commanding in Jesus' name.
Confirmation/Scripture Reading - As the word on commanding was given, what was coming to mind was when Jesus was saying: all authority has been given to him. So he gives that authority to us.
Fr. David Wilton spoke on "Courage". Story of the Ulma family, a Polish couple and their seven children, including the child carried in the mother's womb at the time of her death, were killed by the Nazis for sheltering a Jewish family. They were beatified on September 2023. Learn the Catechism of the Catholic Church. St. Paul says in 2 Thess 2 - "God chose you from the beginning to be saved through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. Therefore brothers, stand firm and hold fast to the traditions that you were taught, either by oral statement or by a letter of ours." St. John Paul II wrote in the encyclical Evangelium Vitae, meaning The Gospel of Life: "Given such a grave situation, we need now more than ever to have courage, courage to look the truth in the eye and to call things by their proper name without yielding to convenient compromises or to the temptation of self-deception. In this regard, the reproach of the prophet is extremely straight forward when the prophet Isaiah says, "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness."" We have to make sure our anger is good anger, righteous anger. St. Paul says in Ephesians 4: "Be angry, but do not sin." Anger is an emotion, created by God. The emotions are good. Some people think that all anger is wrong. Anger is good. It's when we don't let our reason control our anger, that's when it becomes sinful. In order for us to practice certain virtues, we have to have the emotions. You want to have the virtue of courage, then you have to have the emotion of anger. That emotion of anger will help you be courageous when times are tough. Emotions are good. We need them but we have to make sure they are under control by our reason and our reason needs to be properly informed. It's love for the truth that stirs up anger. The anger cannot be unbridled. This turns into hate and how the devil wants us to hate each other. We can't hate our enemies. We can't practice revenge, but we have to be courageous and try to always do what is right and what is good. St. John Bosco: "The power of evil lives on the cowardice of the good." One author: "Hold fast to the truth that has been handed on to us for you will be holding onto He who is truth. If it costs you your reputation, your job, your life, then blessed are you." Jesus said, "Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and insult you and denounce your name as evil on account of the Son of Man. Rejoice and leap for joy on that day because, behold, your reward will be great in heaven." In the Ulma family bible, one of the Scripture readings that was underlined: "For if you love only those who love you, what reward would you have for it?" They didn't only read their bible, they lived it. If we have a grudge against somebody, if we hate somebody, ask God for that special grace of peace and forgiveness and comfort in our own hearts. Remember: every war starts here, in the human heart.
Margaret had asked for prayers for Charleen and Jason. They were both in ICU and they were both dying. They are now out of ICU. Thank you, Lord, and we ask for continued healing.
