The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting. 1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said." 1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.
Scripture Reading Isaiah 52:7 - "How wonderful it is to see a messenger coming across the mountains, bringing good news, the news of peace! He announces victory and says to Zion, "Your God is king!"
Prophecy - "O my people, I have come upon the earth to light the path to my Father so all would find peace, joy and love."
Scripture Reading Psalm 150:1-6 - "Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty expanse! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with harp and lyre! Praise him with timbrel and dancing; praise him with stringed instruments and pipe! Praise him with loud cymbals; praise him with resounding cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!"
Prophecy - "I have come to give you life and life to the full. Come, enjoy that gift that I have given you."
Prophecy - "Now, now is the time to show my people how much I love them, why I came as a child, why I came as a baby in the stable. Now is the time. I only have you, my people, I only have you. You are my hands, my feet, my voice. My people, now is the time to show my people how much I love them. My love that I have put in you will brighten the way for so many that are in darkness. But, my people, you need to be willing, you need to be willing."
Prophecy - "My people, know that I have come for each one of you. If you were the only one on earth, I would have come. I'm asking you to let me love you, let me love you first for you cannot give what you haven't received from me. I want you to know how very much I love you. I want you to let me love you first. Then, then, my people, you will go out and you will give of my love. It will not be hard. You will not have to make such an effort. My love will flow. It will flow abundantly. But again, I'm asking you to let me love you first. Don't look at what you're going to do with this love for others. Let me love you, just as you are. Don't wait til you are better, til you are stronger, til you are perfect. It will never happen. I love you just as you are right now, exactly the way you are right now. Don't try to change; let my love do that. Be open and receive."
Joe looks at this as a Christmas gift from the Lord: Answered prayers as regard to members of his family who have not been going to church. There have been some moves in that direction. Joe had invited one of their son-in-laws to a Catholic men's breakfast. Joe's attitude was that the most he can say is no, which he has said before. But this time, Joe got the shock of his life when he gave a yes. He really enjoyed the breakfast and wants to go to the next one and invite two of his sons. Thank you, Jesus! The other one is Joe's granddaughter who has started going back to church for the last two or three Sunday's in Advent. Last week, she met somebody whom Joe and Joan know from CCO. They are connecting in a very positive way. All this has been such a blessing for Joe and Joan. Thank you, Lord.
