The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting. 1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said." 1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.
Scripture Reading Romans 8:28 - When we were singing, "Be Still and Know that I Am God", really touched me. "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose." Saying "yes" to God is the best decision we can ever make.
Scripture Reading Zechariah 10:6-7 - "I will make the people of Judah strong; I will rescue the people of Israel. I will have compassion on them and bring them all back home. They will be as though I had never rejected them. I am the Lord their God; I will answer their prayers. The people of Israel will be strong like soldiers, happy like those who have been drinking wine. Their descendants will remember this victory and be glad because of what the Lord has done."
Prophecy - "Yes, I am your healer. Don't forget to ask me for healing. You have hope. Hope and trust and pray for healing. And pray for healing not only for yourself but for others as well. I give gifts to each one of you and you are to pray for others for their healing and believe and trust in me."
Scripture Reading Titus 3:4-7 - "When the kindness and generous love of God our savior appeared, not because of any righteous deeds we had done but because of his mercy, he saved us through the bath of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he richly poured out on us through Jesus Christ our savior, so that we might be justified by his grace and become heirs in hope of eternal life."
Prophecy - "By faith you are saved. By faith you are healed. By faith will your sins be delivered. Believe in me, my children. Turn to me in trust and I will hear your prayers."
Fr. Robert DeGrandis, SSJ - spoke on "Healing the Broken Hearted". Mark 16:17-18 - "These are the signs that follow believers. They will lay hands on the sick and they shall recover." Praise (we open to the Lord) and forgiveness (we remove the blocks to the Lord), allow the Lord to do great things on all five levels: Spiritual, psychological, emotional, relational, physical. The broken hearted are those who have had a severe trauma that affects them for a long period of time. Death and and divorce are the main ones. Matthew 11:28 - "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will refresh you." Lack of self-love, a good self image; often times it's because of guilt and shame. Shame comes from sin and the result of sin. Romans 5:5 - "The love of God is poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit." St. Augustine - "He that prays will be saved. He that does not pray will be condemned." Sin is anything that is forbidden by God and will hurt us. The main reason the Lord tells us not to do this or that is that we hurt ourselves. Fr. DeGrandis believes that every sin in every person brings in that person a need for punishment. When we do bad things, we cover it up. We don't want anybody to see it. What that does, it brings within ourselves a need for punishment. Story of woman and Forgiveness Prayer for 30 days. The Lord will do his best if we do our part.
Scripture Reading 1 Thess 5:17 - Pray always without ceasing in order to expand our desire for happiness with God.
