Prophetic Words and Scripture Readings at live stream on July 29 2020

Jul 29, 2020

At beginning of meeting, Leann shared on the Gospel, “Whoever loses his life will save it.”  When caught in quicksand, the best thing to do is to relax.  Don’t fight frantically to get out.  The more you struggle, the deeper you will sink.  Fear and worry about the future can affect us in a way that is similar to quicksand.  The more we focus on anxious thoughts, the deeper we sink.  Jesus approach:  Don’t panic.  Focus on the present reality.  He is already here.  Try to stay calm and surrender to him so that you won’t sink.

Scripture Reading Luke 10:23 – “Turning to his disciples he said privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see.  I tell you, many prophets and kings wished to see what you see but did not see it and to hear what you hear  but did not hear it.””

Scripture Reading Hebrews 4:12 – “The Word of God is alive and active.  It is sharper than a double-edged sword.  It cuts all the way through, to where soul and spirit meet, joint and marrow come together; it judges the desires and thoughts of the heart.  There is nothing that can be hid from God. Everything in all creation is exposed and lies open before his eyes; and it is to him that we must all give an account of ourselves.”

Prophecy:  “My heart rejoices in you, my children.  My heart rejoices when you come to worship me.  My heart rejoices to see you each day.”

Prophecy: “I sense the Lord saying to trust me, to not be discouraged.”

Confirmation:  “I confirm that.  I felt God saying the same thing.”

Prophecy:  “My children, why are you so afraid of what has not yet come to be?  Don’t walk ahead of me.  Walk with me.  Stop being afraid of the future, my children.  Walk with me.  Be present with me.  Rejoice with me.  Pray, my children.  Fear does not come from me, my children.  Let there be praise on your lips.  Constantly praise and sing to God, your Father and my Father.”

Word of Knowledge:  “While we were singing in tongues, I felt that the Lord was saying that chains were being broken.”

Scripture Reading Isaiah 43 – “Israel, the Lord who created you says, “Do not be afraid.  I will be with you.  I have called you by name.  You are mine.  When you pass through deep waters, I will be with you.  Your troubles will not overwhelm you.  When you pass through fire, you will not be burned.  The hard trials that come will not hurt you for I am the Lord, your God, the Holy God of Israel who saves you.”

Scripture Reading Jeremiah 29:11 – “I know the plans I have in mind for you.  It is Yahweh who speaks.  Plans for peace, not disaster, reserving a future full of hope for you.  Then when you call to me, and come to plead with me, I will listen to you.  When you seek me you shall find me, when you seek me with all your heart; I will let you find me.  It is Yahweh who speaks.”

Teaching

Dr. Mary Healy gave us a word of encouragement in these times – We have to remember that Jesus Christ is totally sovereign.  There is treasure hidden in this trial.  John 15:5-7 – “I am the vine, you are the branches.  He who abides in me and I in him, he it is who bears much fruit, for apart from me, you can do nothing.  If a man does not abide in me, he is cast forth as a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire and burned.  If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.”  Mary thinks that the Lord wants us to take this time of quiet and isolation as a time to learn at a whole new level to abide in him.  He wants to lead us to a deeper level of intimacy; to have the heavenly perspective; not to be shaken by circumstances, not becoming anxious or fearful or depressed.   Jeremiah 17:7-8 – “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord.  He’s like a tree planted by water.  It sends out its roots by the stream and does not fear when heat comes for its leaves remain green; and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”  That water is the Holy Spirit.  Mary believes that the Lord wants to cause us, during this time of difficulty, to send down our roots down deep into that stream to be much more firmly rooted and grounded in the Lord, so that in times like this, that we don’t wither.    What the Lord wants for us is for us to continue to bear fruit and that we will be a means of healing for others.  Phil 4:4 – “Rejoice in the Lord always.  Again, I say, rejoice.” We can choose joy.  Power in praise.  It’s trust in God.  That kind of praise of God and rejoicing in him aligns us with God’s purposes.  This time is a season.  Don’t waste this time.  He has a treasure for you in it.  He wants you to come into a deeper intimacy with him.  Send down your roots deep towards the stream to learn to rejoice in him more fully; and all that he’s doing in you now is going to be a preparation for what he has for you in the future because we are created for a time such as this and the Lord is right here in the midst of this trial.  And he has a beautiful treasure for each one of us.

Someone had the reading Phil 4:4 come to them at the end of the prophetic words that were given, but did not share that at that time.

PRAISE REPORT:  Maria’s daughter’s situation has been resolved.  Maria, also, shared that she now uses Scripture in her prayer requests to the Lord.

August 5 prayer meeting will be live streamed at 7:30 p.m.
