Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings Oct 2

Vision/Prophecy:  “There is a woman here or you know of a woman who is crying.  I see a woman with a handkerchief at her eyes, drying her eyes.  And Jesus is standing in front of this woman, taking her hand and he’s saying to this woman, “No more tears.  You have cried enough.  Receive my joy.””

Vision/Prophecy:  “When we sang that song, As a Deer Panteth, I had a vision of a golden sword and a shield and the Lord is telling us to brandish weapons of spiritual warfare.  The weapons are not violent but they are weapons of love, weapons with great strength and incredible power, but also great love.  So, we are called at this time to brandish those weapons and to fight alongside our Lord because Jesus said he’s not looking for a fan club, he’s looking for followers.”

Prophecy:  “The Lord wants us to be spiritual warriors.  He wants us to step out of our comfort zone and start to pray more, to pray for others, to offer love to others, to be an example.  We could have lots of good intentions but he wants us to step out and do it because there’s much needed out there.  He has a plan for each one of us and he has people for each one of us to meet that no one else will meet, that we are to speak the word to and bring his message to.  And if we do not step out and do it, they could be missed.”

Confirmation:  “I confirm that message.  We prayed before the prayer meeting started.  The words I got were, “Go beyond your borders.””

Prophecy:  “The Lord has put it very powerfully on my heart we must pray for those on the road to perdition, those who are at the gates of hell, those who have no hope, those who have lost their way, those who are mislead by the world that we live in.  We must pray that they may not be lost.”  

Prophecy:  “Peace, hope and joy is yours if you walk the path that I have for you.  Follow me because I will show you the way.  The truth and the life is mine to show to you.  So, keep on the right path and I will give you the peace and the joy you need.  And when you are on that path, share the path with others.  Bring them along.  Take their hand as if you’re leading directly to me. Pray for them.  Strengthen what faith they have and yours will be strengthened.  So, trust me as I lead you on forward.  I am with you.  I love you and I want you to know that there’s peace, joy and love ahead for you, and rest.”

“A line from a hymn comes to me, “I was full of joy, alleluia, when I set out for the house of the Lord.”

Teaching

Fr. Robert (Bob) Miller on “Who Do You Say I Am?” on video.  Jesus is the most influential man.  Three things Jesus brings to us.  1) Salvation:  Passive – nothing we can do to earn heaven.  It’s a free gift.  Active – we need to make a choice.  We need to accept.  2) Transformation:  Transforms ourselves and transforms society.  3) Conversion in one’s values.                       Values Jesus offers:  1) Value of love.  2) True freedom.  Not freedom from but freedom to.  Jesus wants us to be free.  3) Truth.  You’ll know the truth and the truth shall set you free.                                                                                   Three perspectives to stay in touch with Jesus:  1) Every day, sit quietly with God.  Stoke the fire of God within.  2) Stay in the Word of God.  Read Scripture.  Chew on it.  3) Pray for a new baptism in the Holy Spirit.  A new fire, a new passion.
