Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream September 27, 2023

Sep 28, 2023

The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting.  1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said."  1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.

At beginning of meeting, Scripture Reading Psalm 134 - "Come, bless the Lord, all you servants of the Lord who stand in the house of the Lord during the hours of night.  Lift up your hands towards the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.  May the Lord bless you from Zion, the maker of heaven and earth."

Scripture Reading Ezekiel 22:1-5 - "The word of the Lord came to me:  You mortal, will you judge, will you judge the bloody city?  Then, declare to it all its abominable deeds.  You shall say, Thus says the Lord God:  A city!  Shedding blood within itself; its time has come; making its idols, defiling itself.  You have become guilty by the blood that you have shed, and defiled by the idols you have made; you have brought your day near; the appointed time of your years has come.  Therefore I have made you a disgrace before the nations, and a mockery to all the countries.  Those who are near and those who are far from you will mock you, you infamous one, full of tumult."

Scripture Reading Psalm 89:15-18 - "How blessed are the people who know the joyful sound, O Lord, they walk in the light of your countenance; in your name they rejoice all the day and by your righteousness they are exalted.  For you are the glory of their strength; and by your favor our horn is exalted.  For our shield belongs to the Lord, and our King the Holy One of Israel."

Prophecy - "My children, do you believe that I have come to save you, that I died on the cross that your sins may be forgiven, that evil may be conquered and that you may reign in my kingdom to eternity?  Do you believe, my children?  Do you trust when I care for you, in my word, in what I have revealed to you through the church, through the sacraments, through nature itself, through the people I have put into your lives?  My children, there are many who do not believe and there are many who have turned away from me.  Tonight, my children, I am asking you to reach out to these people, be an example for them, an example of faith and of trust, that they may come to recognize my existence through you, that they may become aware that yes, heaven has been revealed to you.  And I desire that my kingdom grow in holiness, in truth and in love."

Prophecy - "Peace is coming.  Peace will cover you.  You have fought, you will be rewarded.  Evil will try to make you turn away from me, but do not listen.  Keep your faith in me and cast away all else for I am the only way."

Scripture Reading Psalm 46:1-7 - "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.  Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change, though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea; its waters roar and foam, though the mountains quake at the swelling pride .  There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy dwelling places of the Most High.  God is in the midst of her, she will not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.  The nations made an uproar; the kingdoms totter; he raises his voice, the earth melted.  The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our stronghold."

Word of Knowledge - The Lord is giving us the Gift of Wisdom tonight.  We need to use it.  We need to ask for the Gift of Wisdom in every area of our lives.

Prophecy - "I have given you many gifts, my little ones, use them.  Use them so that I can give you more.  My people need to hear my word.  They need to hear my word of encouragement.  Speak.  Speak the words that I put in your mouth.  Use your gifts.  They are needed.  People need to hear it.  They need to receive my love, my word of knowledge.  They need to hear the wisdom that I have given you.  Speak my word, my little one.  Use your gifts.  I have so much more to give you.  Let me use you.  I will never abuse you.  But let me use you for the gift of all my children.  Be open, receive and give."

Teaching

Fr. Tom DiLorenzo spoke on "It's Time to Trust the Lord".  When our day doesn't go according to our plans, it can lead to frustration.  But maybe the Lord is protecting us.  Maybe God is writing straight with crooked lines.  Fr. Tom told of some people who missed their bus, or were delayed in some way on 9/11.  God calls for our trust.  When the storm is brewing, when there's an earthquake inside of us, that's the time we need to trust the Lord.  We need to trust despite what's happening.  He knows how to work things out.  JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU.  It's a challenge.  He is worthy of our trust.  Why do I trust in you?  Because you love.  Why do I trust in you?  Because you gave your life.  Why do I trust in you?  Because you ever live to make intercession at the Father's right hand.  Why do I trust in you?  Because you've forgiven my sins. etc., etc.  Jesus tells us not to be anxious.  He said, "Look at the birds in the air.  They neither sow nor reap.  But God the Father knows that even if one of them falls to the ground, he sees it.  Look at the flowers of the field.  No one clothes them.  But Solomon, the great king, in all of his beautiful clothes that he has was not arrayed like one of these.  Are you not more important than the birds?  Are you not more important than the flowers?"  Underneath you are the everlasting arms.  JESUS, I TRUST  IN YOU.

Praise Reports

Giovanna shared that her husband had to go for another CT scan and while he was on the table, they were turning down his pacer from 70 to 60.  All of sudden they asked him how he was feeling.  He was feeling fine.  His own heart had actually bumped it from 60 to 70.  So, his pacer has been off now for three days and his heart has been functioning on its own.  Huge praise report.  Giovanna said it's a miracle that his heart is restoring itself.

Sharen gave thanks to the Lord for her mother-in-law's improved health and her ability to make her own decisions as to what activities and treatments she's going to do.  Sharen is grateful that her mind is good enough to do that.
