Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream September 14, 2022

Sep 15, 2022

At beginning of meeting Scripture Reading Psalm 104:33-34, part 35 - "I will sing to the Lord all my life; as long as I live I will sing praises to my God.  May he be pleased with my song, for my gladness comes from him.  Praise the Lord, my soul!  Praise the Lord!"

Scripture Reading Col 1:24-27 - "Now I rejoice in what I am suffering for you and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ's afflictions for the sake of his body, which is the church.  I have become its servant as the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness, the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations but is now disclosed to the Lord's people.  To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery which is Christ in you, the hope of glory."

Scripture Reading 1 Cor 13:11-12 - "When I was a child, I used to talk like a child, and think like a child, and argue like a child, but now I am a man, all childish ways are put behind me.  Now we are seeing a dim reflection in a mirror; but then we shall be seeing face to face.  The knowledge that I have now is imperfect; but then I shall know as fully as I am known."

Words of Knowledge - The Lord will heal a painful mouth.  You need dental surgery.  God will guide the dentist's hands and all will be well.  There's a healing of a gall bladder, healing of a serious intestinal condition, healing of painful knees and toes, and healing of an injury to the scalp.  Someone is concerned that a prayer is unanswered.  You are to ask the Lord for a word and pray in tongues.

Scripture Reading Psalm 139:1-12 "Lord, you have examined me and you know me.  You know everything I do; from far away you understand all my thoughts.  You see me, whether I am working or resting; you know all my actions.  Even before I speak, you already know what I will say.  You are all around me on every side; you protect me with your power.  Your knowledge of me is too deep; it is beyond my understanding.  Where could I go to escape from you?  Where could I get away from your presence?  If I went up to heaven, you would be there; if I lay down in the world of the dead, you would be there.  If I flew beyond the east or lived in the farthest place in the west, you would be there to lead me, you would be there to help me.  I could ask the darkness to hide me or the light around me to turn into night, but even darkness is not dark for you, and the night is as bright as day.  Darkness and light are the same to you."

Scripture Reading Psalm 89:15-17 - "How blessed are the people who know the joyful sound!  O Lord, they walk in the light of your countenance.  In your name they rejoice all the day.  And by your righteousness they are exalted.  For you are the glory of their strength, and by your favor our horn is exalted."

Prophecy - I am sensing that the Lord wants us to become prayer warriors, that he wants us to become intercessors, to continue praying for our families, but we need to be also praying for our city and our country, for our local churches and for the church globally.  And I sense that he was saying not to be afraid by the devil attacking us.  When we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and we read his word daily, we have all the protection we need; and not to forget our Blessed Mother and St. Joseph and St. Michael are there to protect us also.  And I also sense he says, "Feel a little joy when Satan starts to attack you more because that means you are really one of my prayer warriors and you are really annoying him."  And just know that Jesus is behind us saying, "Keep it up."

Prophecy - "My people, I am God and I have a plan for you, all my children; a plan to prosper you and keep you safe.  Do not doubt me in this.  All will be what is meant to be.  Do what I ask you to do.  Do not question.  Believe and have faith.  This is my plan.  I love you."

Scripture Reading Luke 1:37 - "Nothing is impossible with God."

Teaching

Fr. John Riccardo - Marriages and families are now living through a virtual hurricane.  Jesus is only hope for us. Living as a contagious Christian - infect in a positive way those who are around us.  Three things in marriage:  have a vision, have a plan, trust in God's power.  Michelangelo said, "The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it's too low and we reach it."  Fr. John spoke about his father and mother and their marriage.  His father's priorities were God, family, work - in that order.  When he died and the family was around his casket, Fr. John's mother said, "Honey, because of you, I know who God is."  That's the point of marriage.  That's the vison:  to try to make visible the invisible love of God to your husband or wife.  Marriage is a sacrament.  A sacrament is a visible sign of an invisible reality instituted by Jesus, elevated by Jesus, which gives grace."  You make visible Jesus in his extraordinary love for his bride for whom he pours everything out.  The task of marriage is for a husband and a wife to make visible, tangible, the love, the compassion, the mercy, the kindness, the goodness, the generosity of God.  To do this, we need help from God; and that's grace.  Grace is supernatural strength, spiritual steroids.  Four plays every day:  Sacrifice, don't keep score, forgive all the time as quickly as you can, pray.  Perfect love makes sacrifice a joy.  Pray as a couple, if possible.  If not possible, because you are one flesh in marriage, what one person does, it affects the other.  God is a God of power.  Nothing is impossible for God.

Discussion Time

Scripture Reading 2 Thess 2:13-17 -  "We must thank God at all times for you, friends, you whom the Lord loves.  For God chose you as the first to be saved by the Spirit's power to make you his holy people and by your faith in the truth.  God called you to this through the Good News we preached to you; he called you to possess your share of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.  So then, our friends, stand firm and hold on to those truths which we taught you; both in our preaching and in our letter.  May the Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and in his grace gave us unfailing courage and a firm hope, encourage you and strengthen you to always do and say what is good."
