Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream October 11, 2023

Oct 12, 2023

The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting.  1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said."  1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.

Scripture Reading Psalm 63:1-4 - "O God, you are my God - I shall seek you earnestly!  My soul thirsts for you, my flesh yearns for you in a dry and weary land where there is no water.  Thus I have seen you in the sanctuary, to see your power and your glory.  Because your loving kindness is better than life, my lips will praise you.  So I will bless you as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in your name."

Prophecy - "My children, there is much suffering out there.  Times are dire; wars, famine, displacement of home, natural disasters.  These are all a part of the journey in one's life.  Not only is there a war around you that exists but there is a war within you.  There are doubts.  There are fears, much anxiety about what the future might hold.  My children, tonight I want you to know that I am with you, that I hear your cries and your concerns, your fears and I want to calm down those fears and reassure you that I have not abandoned my people just as the Father did not abandon me at the time of my greatest suffering on the cross.  The cross is part of life.  Yes, my children, while you are here on earth you will have to each endure a cross.  But because of my cross, I have also given you the gift of redemption, of salvation from the human condition.  I've also given you eternal life with me, to be able to live in a new kingdom, a kingdom of love, of joy and peace.  I'm asking you tonight to persevere during these times of trials.  Do not give up and to seek me, always in prayer, in the sacraments, in community life.  There you will find my presence and you will discover more fully that I am alive and that I do exist in this world.  My people need to hear this good news.  In order for them to hear this good news, it needs to be proclaimed.  In order for it to be proclaimed, my children need to be transformed and purified and come to know me in a more deeper and personal way.  Through suffering, you will come to know the suffering of the world.  Through suffering, you will come to experience my comfort and healing.  And through suffering, as you persevere, you will come to know that truly my gift of salvation does exist."

Prophecy - "My children, you sing that you are desperate for me.  Well, I'm desperate for you too, desperate for your love, your obedience and respect.  Give me all you have to give so I can work through you, work through you, my people.  Listen, heed my word.  I love you more than you'll ever know.  Trust me.  Follow me and only me.  My Spirit wants to equip you, guide you and help you.  Turn to him for wisdom and direction.  He has work for you to do.  I love you, my children."

Prophecy - "Come, I'm still embracing you.  I'm still loving you.  I still want to be very close to you all.  Keep me in your hearts cause I am there in a moment.  Raise your hearts.  I love to hear your songs of praise and glory.  And as you sing, my glory will descend on you, my dear, dear loved ones.  Come hoping, expecting with open arms expecting to be blessed because I am a God that loves you and blesses you.  Spend time listen to me because I have words to say for each of you.  But you must spend time, so you have time enough to stop and hear what I have to say.  There's so many things I want to teach you and bring you through but you must keep your hands in mine and looking to me because I may speak any moment and it can be and will be very important words that I say because I am walking always ahead of you, walking, walking, looking out for you.  So, that is why you have to keep listening to me because I can talk at any time in your hearts and minds and spirits.  Keep hanging on, as I'm hanging on to you too."

Response to the Lord - "Lord Jesus, I surrender my life to you.  All the things that worry me, that burden me, I give them to you, Lord.  I want to follow you and, Jesus, I love you."

During the singing, what I really felt was the joy.  All those people showed in their faces of having found the Lord and also their realization that they were totally dependent on him.  They know this and  they're living in that trust.  Kind of confirms all the prophecies.

Teaching

The title of Fr. Tom DiLorenzo's talk was "Take Jesus By The Hand".  The heart of a bishop:  to seek and save the lost.  Tell them Jesus has a plan for their life.  You don't have to live the way you're living because God is for you and if God is for you, who can be against you (Romans 8:31).  He who did not spare his own Son, will he not give up all things beside?  The Lord has been raised from the dead and he can make garbage into fertilizer because he's God Almighty.  The Lord can make you into a new person if you just turn to him and tell him, "I'm desperate, I surrender all."  And he comes!  Jesus is waiting for years for you to cry out.  Stop looking at fears, look at Jesus.  Take Jesus by the hand.  The solution is Jesus.  He changes the lives of people.  This is true!  St. Paul said, "I live no longer I, but Christ lives in me, and the life I now live, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."  God is still on the throne.  How do we surrender?  Just open your hand and say, "I surrender all.  My sins, my life is a mess, but I surrender all."  Fr. Tom suggested that we read Matthew 28 out loud (all about the resurrection).  Jesus is risen from the dead.  Jesus is Lord.  Jesus can do it.  Jesus loves you.  Jesus is all power and authority.  Jesus is with you.  Take him by the hand and don't do anything apart from him.

Sharing Time

Scripture Reading Matthew 11:28 - Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and heavy burdened, and I will give you rest."

Scripture Reading 2 Corinthians 12:10 - Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake, for when I am weak, then I am strong."

Praise Report

The lymph node on Richard's neck popped up again.  Richard had some tests and the doctor in the report said it was suspicious.  Today, the oncologist said, "Nothing here to be concerned about.  I'll see you in six months."  Richard gave thanks to the Lord and everyone for their prayers.
