The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting. 1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said." 1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.
Scripture Reading Phil 4:4-7 - Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Scripture Reading Psalm 62:6-9 - My soul, be at rest in God alone, from whom comes my hope. God alone is my rock and my salvation, my secure height; I shall not fall. My safety and glory are with God, my strong rock and my refuge. Trust God at all times, my people! Pour out your hearts to God our refuge!
Prophecy - Oh how I love you, my dear children. I'm embracing you even more and more deeply. I see your eyes are full of the Spirit I see in my Son. I want to again and again embrace you, help you realize how deeply I do love you and want to be very, very close to you. Come, come, do not hesitate, open your hearts. Give me your prayers in the deepest part that you have given up because I want to hear them too; and all your hardships and all your failings, give them too so I may move in them and heal you and make you even more and more perfect in my eyes, my dear, dear children.
Scripture Reading Isaiah 52:7 - How wonderful it is to see a messenger coming across the mountains, bringing good news, the news of peace! He announces victory and says to Zion, "Your God is king!"
Prophecy - "My children, I love you, I love you as you are. I love you in your completeness. Yes, my children, you do not see this because you are in a broken world, a wounded world. But, my children, I want you to know tonight that I see this. I see you as soul. I see you as holy, as part of my kingdom. Tonight, I am calling you toward that gift of wholeness and holiness. And with the gift of my Holy Spirit, I will empower you with all those graces that you need to become part of my Body; I in you and you in me. Open yourselves up to this wonderful gift that I have bestowed on you, through the death and the resurrection and ascension of my Son, Jesus. My children, I see this world and all its needs. I hear my people crying and this is why I want you, my children, to see yourselves as I see you, and to receive the gift that I bestow upon you, my Holy Spirit, so that others may come to know this good news of salvation, this good news of redemption that is available to them. Go in peace, my children. Know that I am with you always and I will lead and guide you on your journey."
Leah Darrow's conversion story. Raised Catholic; family prayed the Rosary every night. In high school, got into a group that didn't abide in the same moral code that she was raised with. She lost her virginity at age 15 - her free will decision. A moment that she thought should be so wonderful made her cry. In that moment the devil got her. She heard, "You knew better." And because of that, she believed that no one was going to love her; she would never be forgiven because she knew better. In her fear she believed all the lies of the devil and it slowly pulled her away from the practice of her faith - like she should not even pray, she did not belong in church. Sin and shame pulled her away from the practice of her faith. She did not understand the true mercy of God.
This allowed her to become cynical, hard-heartened. She felt that she tried and she failed and it was not for her any more. When she looked for meaning in life and the world told her what a woman should be, what a woman should look like, etc. She adopted an ultra feminist theory of life. She became a fashion model.
In the middle of a photo shoot, it was like a movie was playing, she saw herself. Her hands were cupped at her waist and she raised them all the way up as if to give them to somebody. And then she saw above her a shadowy profile of a man's face. He looked at her raised hands and he bowed his head. She heard, "I made you for more." She heard it again. The last time she heard it, emphasis was on the first part, "I made you for more."
She went home to her apartment and she knew she could not continue with her life. She was living such a sinful life. She was scared. The devil doubled down on her at that moment. He had her in his grips for 10 years. The only thing she hung onto in those years was her Rosary. She did not pray it but she would hold it. That was her only spark of hope. She thought about every sin that she had committed; the shame and the hurt that she caused other people. She thought about the people she brought to sin. The only way out was suicide so she wouldn't hurt anybody any more. She made a plan, etc.
What broke her focus was the TV that was on in another room. The reporter said, "It's official. We've just received word, John Paul II has just died." She loved John Paul II. He was her Pope. Then she heard his voice, "Be not afraid." Those words saved her life. She got up and called her dad and said that if he didn't come and get her, she was going to lose her soul. He drove over 2,000 miles.
Her journey back started with confession and she quit everything; she quit sin. She made a decision to not do this anymore. She left her job, went home. She knew that deep healing needed to be done, so therapy was one piece to deconstruct all the lies she had believed. Other pieces were the Rosary, deep prayer, Adoration and the Mass. This was over a period of three years.
She did odd jobs and then God gave opportunities to serve. God used everything and that began talks on modesty, etc.
