Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream November 9, 2022

Nov 10, 2022

At beginning of meeting, Scripture Reading 1 Peter 2:5 - "Be built up like living stones into a spiritual house, a holy priesthood."

Scripture Reading Luke 12:22-27 - "And he said to his disciples, 'For this reason I say to you, do no worry about your life, as to what you will eat; nor for your body, as to what you will put on.  For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.  Consider the raven, for they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds!  And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life's span?  Therefore, if you cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about the other matters?  Consider the lilies, how they grow:  they neither toil nor spin; but I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these."

Prophecy - "My little ones, do you have any idea how much I love you?  Do you know that I really will take care of your every need?  If I bring you down at times, it is to show you that you are helpless without me.  I'm asking you to surrender everything.  Let go of all your fears and anxieties and worries.  Let go of everything and be free, free to be loved, to be cherished, to be accepted.  You are everything to me, my little one.  I have created you in my image.  I have created you to love you.  Do not put any barrier or any block between that love.  Surrender your lives to me and I will give you more than you could ever imagine.  You have no idea what I have in store for you.  You have only begun to have a taste of who I am.  I have all of my love to give, but you have opened up to only a little bit.  How I want to make you whole.  How I want you to feel my love, my goodness, my mercy.  Let me love you, my little one.  Do not try to be better.  Do not work so hard.  Surrender, let it go.  Let me do it in you.  Remember, you can do nothing without me.  This is a hard lesson for you to learn.  It doesn't depend on you.  It depends entirely upon me and I want to give you all that I have.  All that I am, I want to share with you.  Let go of everything and I will give you everything."

Scripture Reading Psalm 56:3-4 - "When I am afraid, I put my trust in you; in God, whose word I praise, in God I trust without a fear."

Scripture Reading Psalm 2:1-6 - "Why do the nations rage and the peoples utter folly?  The kings of the earth rise up and the princes conspire together against the Lord and against his anointed.  Let us break their fetters and cast their bonds from us.  He who is throned in heaven laughs; the Lord derides them.  Then in anger he speaks to them, he terrifies them in his wrath: 'I myself set up my king on Zion, my holy mountain.'"

Scripture Reading Psalm 149:1-6 - "Sing to the Lord a new song in the assembly of the faithful.  Let Israel be glad in its maker, let the children of Zion rejoice in their king.  Let them praise his name in the festive dance, let them sing praise to him with timbrel and harp.  For the Lord loves his people and he adorns the lowly with victory.  Let the faithful exult in glory, let them sing for joy upon their couches.  Let the high praises of God be in their throats."

Prophecy - "My people, you are my living temple for I dwell inside of you, my people.  I dwell in your hearts and your minds.  My presence is always with you.  When things trouble you, my people, stop and seek my presence.  I have the answers to the questions you ask.  I have the answers to the problems that you find impossible.  Seek always my presence.  Stop and hear my small gentle voice inside your heart.  I will never leave you.  I will always respond to your questions, to your heart's desires, to things that trouble you.  Do not fear for I am your Lord who loves you."

Teaching

Patt entitled her presentation, "Gratitude".  She had the group share their thoughts on four questions.  1) What has a speaker from one of the recorded talks ever said that was memorable to you?  2) What did a fellow member ever say in their presentation that affected you?  3) What did a fellow member ever comment on about anything that was significant to you?  4) Is there some other reason you attend each week?

Praise Reports

Two weeks ago, Joan asked for prayers for her great-grandson who was very congested, and his mother had just taken him to the hospital.  He was not quite two months old.  He was diagnosed with Covid.  After Wednesday night, everything turned around.  He's fine now, congestion cleared up.  Joan thanked everyone for their prayers.

Sharen gave thanks and praise to God for her mother-in-law who had requested prayers after her fall.  She had severe sciatic pain and a week later now, she is starting to feel better.
