Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream November 23, 2022

Nov 24, 2022

The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting.  1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said."  1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.

At beginning of meeting, Scripture Reading John 6:44 - "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draw him, and I will raise him on the last day."  Scripture Reading John 6:40 - "For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him may have eternal life, and I shall raise him on the last day."

God (Jesus) is always praying for us.

Scripture Reading John 17:21-26 - "Father, may they be one in us, as you are in me and I am in you, so that the world may believe it was you who sent me.  I have given them the glory you gave to me, that they may be one as we are one.  With me in them and you in me, may they be so completely one that the world will realize that it was you who sent me and that I have loved them as much as you loved me.  Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, so that they may always see the glory you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.  Father, Righteous One, the world has not known you, but I have known you, and these have known you that you have sent me.  I have made your name known to them and will continue to make it known, so that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and so that I may be in them."

Scripture Reading Psalm 62:5-8 - "My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my hope is from him.  He only is my rock and my salvation, my comfort; I shall not be shaken.  On God, my salvation and my glory rest; the rock of my strength, my refuge is in God.  Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts before him; God is a refuge for us."

Scripture Reading Isaiah 35:1-5 - "The desert and the parched land will exult: the steppe will rejoice and bloom.  They will bloom with abundance of flowers and rejoice with joyful song.  The glory of Lebanon will be given to them, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon. They will see the glory of the Lord, the splendor of our God.  Strengthen the hands that are feeble, make strong the knees that are weak!  Say to those whose hearts are frightened:  "Be strong, fear not!  Here is your God.  He comes with vindication; with divine recompense he comes to save you."  Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf be cleared."

Scripture Reading Psalm 105:1-6 - "Give thanks to the Lord, proclaim his greatness; tell the nations what he has done.  Sing praise to the Lord; tell the wonderful things he has done.  Be glad that we belong to him; let all who worship him rejoice.  Go to the Lord for help; and worship him continually.  You descendants of Abraham, his servant; you descendants of Jacob, the man he chose:  remember the miracles that God performed and the judgments that he gave."

Words of Knowledge - There will be many healings. Healing of a heart murmur, outpouching of aorta, scoliosis of the back, fungus of the toes.  There will be a healing of a stroke.  Someone's grandchild will attend catechism.  There will be a healing of dementia and children will return to the Lord.  I see a face and a woman is crying a lot.  She's in deep distress; and it's turn to the Lord, for those tears he died.

Scripture Reading Psalm 931-5 - "The Lord is king.  He is clothed with majesty and strength.  The earth is set firmly in place and cannot be moved.  Your throne, O Lord, has been firm from the beginning, and you existed before time began.  The ocean depths raise their voice, O Lord; they raise their voice and roar.  The Lord rules supreme in heaven, greater than the roar of the ocean, more powerful than the waves of the sea.  Your laws are eternal, Lord, and your Temple is holy indeed, forever and ever."

Patt claimed the word of a grandchild attending catechism.  Leslie B has a lot of things mentioned in the Words of Knowledge:  a heart that does weird things, extreme rotoscoliotis, stuff going on with her aorta.  Georgina claimed the healing of the aorta for her younger sister who will be having surgery on the aorta on December 8th.

Vision - I kept seeing a lot of water.  My sense, like the living waters.

Teaching

A video teaching by Fr. Bob Bedard on "God, Our Father".  In the Old Testament, and when Jesus speaks about the Father in the New Testament, he uses the word, "God".  Jesus, too, and the Holy Spirit are part of the Godhead.  But the word, "God", is reserved, usually, for the Father.  In some way that we don't understand, the Father takes precedence over the Son and the Holy Spirit, although they are equal to him.  They have different roles.  One of the roles of the Father is to take precedence.  It is the Father who has the plan, the Father who has the will for creation.  Jesus has done the work on earth of opening that up, opening up the possibility so that we to relate to him, to the Father, to the Holy Spirit, and to enter into a share in the very life of God so that we could have our destiny fulfilled, so that we could go on and live forever in the very presence of God.  And it's the Holy Spirit that has been sent by both, the Father and Jesus, to get everything done.  The Holy Spirit has the power to get things done. Jesus intercedes for us before the throne of the Father.  Christianity is a revealed religion.  God loves each one of us with the same love and there is nothing we can do to make him love us any more or less than he does.  God's love never changes.  Our capacity to receive it can change.  Faith is the acceptance of the revealed true God.  Faith has stages.  1)  Cultural - born into.  Cultural faith doesn't carry everyone through life.  2) Convicted - Study of apologetics, etc.  3) Experience - Father's story.  This is what made the difference in his life.  Everything changed for him.  Attitude of church to religious experience: "caution", not disbelief, not uncomfortable, but caution.  All of these things need to be scrutinized.  They must be discerned.  Religious experience not same thing as emotion.  Emotion has nothing to do with experience.  It can strictly be an inner thing that happens that carries no emotion.  God is transcendent.  He stands outside his creation.  If someone invites him inside, he moves in.

Sharing Time

Scripture Reading Isaiah 64:8 - Lord, you are our Father, we are the clay, and you are the potter, and we are all the work of your hands."  God is there to mold us into his own image.

Praise Reports

Patt praised God that her daughter-in-law said that they are in a bible study which will lead to the grandchild being in catechism.

Giovanna praised God that she and her husband were able to leave Pennsylvania.  They are in Indianna right now, hoping to get their passports done December 2 and then they will be making their way to Winnipeg.

Sharen gave thanks to God and to all of us who prayed last week.  It changed Sharen's heart a bit and she was able to pray for her sister-in-law's heart to be changed in her decision-making for her mother.  Sharen was able to give that up and find some peace.  She also gave thanks to God that her mother-in-law went for her bone scan.  She did, indeed, have a fractured femur and a fractured pelvis.  She is supposed to be taken now to Concordia Hospital.
