Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream May 5, 2021

May 06, 2021

At opening of meeting - Entrance Antiphon at Mass - "May my mouth be filled with your praise, that I may sing aloud; my lips shall shout for joy, when I sing to you, Alleluia."

Prophecy - When we were singing, I felt the Lord say to all of us, "A mighty river will be poured out onto the earth.  There will be no doubt that it's my power that is released to my people so that they can reach the nation.  Believe, my children, I am God and there is no other.  Pray and read my Word, my Holy Spirit is with you."

Prophecy - Alberta has shut down again and so we've lost our Masses.  The word that went through my heart all day was, "Open up the floodgates."  (that was one of the songs during praise and worship)  My heart has been very heavy because I tend to miss my Eucharist more than ever, so the next song said, " Let me be singing when the evening comes," and that's happening tonight.  It's really lightened my heart.  Another thing is something that happened after last week's meeting.  I go to another prayer meeting Saturday night and I was asked to share something about my special needs son and we've heard a lot of readings lately about being in God's presence.  Well, my son has taught me a lot about God's presence, like he gets up in the morning, he wants to see the sun rise and he knows that God is painting a masterpiece.  He wants to see the sun go down.  He wants to go to Mass.  He's memorized every part of the Mass.  He won't eat breakfast until everybody is taken care of.  The simplest things that put us in God's presence.  Sometimes, we get caught up in looking for the big things, recognizing that God is with us in everything.

Vision/Prophecy - During the praise and worship, I kept getting to pray for people who are in need of healing.  Then I would see different people, so I started praising and calling on our Lord to bring his healing and then, I saw this oil, like an anointing oil.  I heard our Lord say, "I am the King of kings.  I am who I am.  I am the Almighty.  It is I who is the healer, it is I."  And then I saw this huge, it was like huge vat of oil and it's here, it's for healing that the Lord wants to pour out his healing.  There's this healing grace that is there to be used.

Prophecy/Scripture Reading - I also kept feeling the Lord is present and he wants to heal us, but he wants to through his word, as well.  Matt 4:4 - "Man does not live by bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God."  When we need healing, he wants us to go through the words, he wants to call upon Jesus as we are reading.  He wants us to pray his promises and the only way to do that the Lord said, is by learning the word, eating the word, looking up the word.

Vision/Confirmation - I was really excited about what was shared because I saw a lot of oil being poured out, just a tremendous amount of oil being poured out during the time of worship.

Confirmation/Scripture Reading Matt 8: 14-17 - And when Jesus entered Peter's house, he saw his mother-in-law lying sick with a fever.  He touched her hand and the fever left her.  She rose and served him.  That evening, they brought to him many who were possessed with demons and he cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick.  This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophets, "He took our infirmities and bore our diseases."

Confirmation - When the first prophetic word was spoken, I had shivers.  Our pastor at Mass today was sharing about how when we abide in the Lord and we grow in the fruit of the Holy Spirit, we will become like a river, flowing out to the whole world, bringing the fruits of the Spirit.  Her words really just struck my heart.

Scripture Reading Psalm 75 - "We give thanks to you, O God, we give thanks to you; as we call upon your name, as we recount your wonders.  At the appoionted time, I, myself, shall dispense justice.  The earth quaked and all its inhabitants, it is I who holds its pillars strong."   ......And it goes on.

Scripture Reading Psalm 33:6-9 - "By the word of the Lord the heavens were made; by the breath of his mouth all their host.  He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap; he lays upon the deeps in storehouses.  Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.  For he spoke, and it was done, he commanded, and it stood fast."

Scripture Reading Matt 18:19 - "Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.  For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there in the midst."

Prophecy - "My little ones, every one of you was in need of a healing at one time or another.  And my little ones, did I let you down?  Did I ever let you down?  But now, my little ones, I want to use you to bring healing to others.  I cannot work through you without your permission.  I cannot give to others what I have given you if you will not allow me.  And before you can allow me, you must not doubt.  I will use each one of you in a powerful way.  So many are needy.  So many are waiting for your outstretched arm to touch them, to bring love, to bring hope, to build up their faith.  My little ones, I want to bring healing to all my people.  You are the ones that I want to use to bring this about.  I need you, my little ones.  Be ready.  Be open.  Let me use you."

Teaching

Fr. Michael Krochak spoke on "Towards a More Abundant Life."  John 10:10 - "I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."  What did Jesus mean?  We remember what Jesus told the rich farmer who said to himself, "I will say to my soul, 'Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years.  Eat, drink and be merry."  Jesus referred to him as a fool.  There are many other examples in Scripture in which Jesus  makes it clear that the abundant life does not mean to have an abundance of earthly treasures.  The apostles and Saints went through hardships, persecutions, illnesses and yet they were filled with joy, love of God and zeal to proclaim the Gospel.  i.e.  Paul and Silas in prison.  Prayer to the Holy Spirit in Ukrainian rite:  "Heavenly King, Comforter, Spirit of Truth who are everywhere present and fill all things, treasure of blessings, Giver of Life, come and dwell within us.  Cleanse us of all that defiles us and save our souls."  We have to allow the gardener to prune us.  We need a sense of belonging.  Jesus said, "I am the vine, you are the branches.  Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit because apart from me you can do nothing."  One source says to abide in me means to intentionally remain in an ever growing relationship with him that transforms our character to be more like his.  It means not giving up and continuing in spite of our doubts, our hardships.  It means allowing God to transform us so that we can transform others.  St. Paul - "It is no longer I who lives, but Christ who lives in me."  Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit.  The more we allow the fruits of the Holy Spirit to grow, the more we will experience the joy of belonging and the fullness of life.  Gifts given to spread God's kingdom.  Diligent practice and prayer.  We're all saints in training.  Reached a plateau?  Stopped climbing, risk to backsliding.  St. Paul warns us, "If you think you are standing, watch out that you don't fall."  Let us not be complacent, let us not be weary, let us not think we're retired, there's no such thing.  But with renewed zeal and with the confidence in our loving Father, let's journey on, keep climbing that mountain, keep learning, keep growing in trust, keep becoming.  God has so much more in store for us.
