The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting.  1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said."  1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.

Scripture Reading Ezekiel 11:1-12  - "The spirit lifted me up and brought me to the east gate of the house of the Lord, which faces east.  There, at the entrance of the gateway, were twenty-five men; among them I saw Jaazaniah son of Azzur, and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, officials of the people.  He said to me, "Mortal, these are the men who devise iniquity and who give wicked counsel in this city; they say, 'The time is not near to build houses; this city is the pot, and we are the meat.'  Therefore prophesy against them; prophesy, O mortal."  Then the spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and he said to me, "Say, Thus says the Lord:  This is what you think, O house of Israel;  I know the things that come into your mind.  You have killed many in this city, and have filled its streets with the slain.  Therefore thus says the Lord God:  The slain whom you have placed within it are the meat, and this city is the pot; but you shall be taken out of it.  You have feared the sword; and I will bring the sword upon you, says the Lord God.  I will take you out of it and give you over to the hands of foreigners, and execute judgements upon you.  You shall fall by the sword;  I will judge you at the border of Israel.  And you shall know that I am the Lord.  This city shall not be your pot, and you shall not be the meat inside it; I will judge you at the border of Israel.  Then you shall know that I am the Lord, whose statutes you have not followed, and whose ordinances you have not kept, but you have acted according to the ordinances of the nations that are around you.""

Scripture Reading Isaiah 41:10 - "Fear not, I am with you; be not dismayed; I am your God.  I will strengthen you, and help you, and I will uphold you with my right hand of justice."

Scripture Reading Psalm 89:15-17 - "How blessed the people who know the joyful sound!  O Lord, they walk in the light of your countenance.  In your name they rejoice all the day, and by your righteousness they are exalted.  For you are the glory of their strength,"

Scripture Reading Psalm 91:14-16 - "Those who love me, I will deliver; I will protect those who know my name.  When they call to me, I will answer them, I will be with them in trouble.  I will rescue them and honor them.  With long life, I will satisfy them and show them my salvation."

Prophecy - "My children, tonight I desire that you understand what my kingdom stands for.  My kingdom is a kingdom of love, of mercy and compassion.  And I desire that all will come to know the love that I have for my people.  I desire to be their Father, the provider, protector.  And all I ask is that my people turn to me and ask and they will receive, seek and they will be found.  There are many, many lies and deceptions out there, my children.  You need to be vigilant.  You need to know what is truth and what comes from the evil one.  And there are powers out there that are beyond your power or ability to overcome.  So my children, I need your prayers; I need your fasting, and I need your petition to allow me to work within you so you, my children, may become more holy and whole.  It is only when you develop the virtue and put aside the sin, that you will be able to receive the power from on high, the power of my Holy Spirit which will manifest itself through you, leading my people in the right direction.  Do not fear, my children, to be purified, for it is in this purification you will recognize and experience my glory, my joy, my peace.  So many fear that and so many stop seeking me because of that.  So tonight I am removing that fear and I am placing within your heart a new profound faith and trust in my mercy, in my compassion.  When times are hard, when you fall, know that I am there with you, within that fall, within that trial.  I will turn into good.  Persevere, my children, do not lose hope.  Keep your focus on me.  Partake of the Eucharist; partake of the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and believe.  Believe that in the sacraments, there is power to bring you the freedom that you cry for, the healing that you desire and so much need.  So, my children, tonight I am pouring an anointing upon each one of you, that you will come to know me tonight about my love, about my mercy and about my kingdom."

Prophetic Sense - That very simple song that we sang:  For each day the Lord brings his goodness and his mercy and his blessing.  the line that struck me was:  He brings rivers into deserts.  What that meant to me was:  when we are in times of difficulties, times of trial, times of suffering, there's always a sign that God is with us, if we look for it.  And it's like the river in the desert which is so unusual.  The Lord brings something into those moments of difficulty and stress and worry that shows us that he's there.  He's present.

Prophecy - "Some of you are dealing with challenges that seem overwhelming and you feel like I am not there.  But I am there.  I am always there with you whether you see it or you feel it, I am there.  I am looking after you."

Scripture Reading Luke 13:20 - "Again, Jesus asked, "What shall I compare the Kingdom of God with?  It is like this.  A woman takes some yeast and mixes it with a bushel of flour until the whole batch of dough rises.""

"Holy" was the song we were sing, "Change the atmosphere.  Build your kingdom here.  Win this nation back."  That was really strong in my heart.  That's what I am praying for and I'm thanking God for that message.

One of the prophetic words this evening was to bring our intentions; even that reading from Ezekiel, that was there.  It seemed like all gloom and doom, but maybe, it's just a cry for us to pray also for Canada and the whole world.  

Prophecy & Image - "Rest on me, rest on me, rest on me."  Earlier, during the praise and worship, I had an image: "Someone was burdened."

E. has been praying Isaiah 41:10 which was read earlier and finds it comforting.

Teaching

The title of the teaching was, "Do not lose hope, God will do the unexpected for you."  In the book, The Problem of Pain, C.S. Lewis writes "When we find ourselves in the depths of suffering and despair, it is precisely at that point that God can accomplish what is humanly impossible." 

Isaiah 43:19 - "See, I am doing a new thing.  Now it springs up.  Do you not perceive it?  I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." 

Our God is the God of the Impossible.  In his book, Miracles, Lewis says, "But most of us continue to believe or try to believe that human life takes place in an atmosphere of luck and accident.  We consider Divine Providence as something distant, almost impossible to touch our daily lives."

Yet the truth is, God's miracle, the unexpected and surprising act of his hand is present in every moment of our existence.  It is precisely when we least expect it that he acts in imaginable ways proving that his power is beyond our understanding and expectation.

Psalm 37:4-5 - "Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.  Commit your way to the Lord, trust in him and he will do this." 

Proverbs 3:5-6 - "Trust in the Lord with all Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways, submit to him and he will make your paths straight." 

John 14:12-14 - "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing and they will do even greater things than these because I am going to the Father and I will do whatever you ask in my name so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  You may ask me for anything in my name and I will do it."

Exodus 14:13-14 - "Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid.  Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today.  The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.  The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."

In his book, Mere Christianity, C.S. Lewis says, "God is not predictable."

Isaiah 55:8-9 - "My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord.  As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."

Psalm 30:11-12 - "You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and you clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent.  Lord my God, I will praise you forever."

In the book, The Abolition of Man, Lewis says, "We, modern men, tend to believe that we control our destiny, that we can foresee and plan every step of our lives.  But God constantly reminds us of our true position in the universe through his surprising acts.  He intervenes in ways that baffle our understanding and forces us to recognize our dependence on him.  His unexpected actions are a reminder that we are not the masters of our own destiny.  Instead we are invited to trust in his infinite wisdom and unfathomable plan."

Isaiah 40:31 - "For those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles.  They will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not grow faint."

Phil 1:6 - "Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."

Ephesians 3:20-21 - "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!  Amen."

In his book, Surprised by Joy, Lewis says, "For many years I resisted God with all the strength of a stubborn atheist.  But when I finally surrendered, it was as if reality opened up before me in a completely new and unexpected way.  God did not enter my life like an invader, but as a serene and constant presence that transformed every aspect of my existence.  I could never have predicted the depth of peace and joy I found in him.  He surprised me in a way I could never have imagined."

Luke 1:37 (ESV) - "For nothing is impossible with God."

Matthew 19:26 - "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

Praise Report

Barbara said that her daughter was in the hospital with myocarditis, inflammation of the heart.  The heart enzymes kept going up and up, shot right up to a danger zone.  They thought she had all these blood clots.  Barbara prayed for the enzyme levels to go back down to normal, that there be no blood clots.  The next day, the doctors were completely perplexed because it went from 800 to 100, no clots, no sign of anything.  It feels like it was a a little bit of a miracle.  Her daughter said that she really needed a good wake up call.  The Lord is always at work!  Never lose hope!

Monika thanked everyone for their prayers for her dad who had to be taken to the hospital because his lungs and his legs were full of water.  They got 5 liters of fluid out him and Monica's sister brought him back home.  Monika said that God is not finished with her dad and she thanks and praises God for that.  She will continue to place him in God's care.
