Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream March 20, 2024

Mar 21, 2024

The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting.  1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said."  1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.

At beginning of meeting, Scripture Reading Isaiah 44:21 & 24 - "the Lord says, 'Israel, remember this:  remember that you are my servant.  I created you to be my servant, and I will never forget you.  I am the Lord, your Savior; I am the one who created you.  I am the Lord, the Creator of all things.'"

Scripture Reading Daniel 3:1-6 - "The Golden Image - King Nebuchadnezzar made a golden statue whose height was sixty cubits and whose width was six cubits; he set it up on the plain of Dura in the province of Babylon.  Then King Nebuchadnezzar sent for the satraps, the prefects and the governors, the counsellors, the treasurers, the justices, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces, to assemble and come to the dedication of the statue that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.  So the satraps, the prefects, and the governors, the counsellors, the treasurers, the justices, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces, assembled for the dedication of the statue that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.  When they were standing before the statue that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up, the herald proclaimed out loud, 'You are commanded, O people, nations and languages, that when you hear the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, drum, and entire musical ensemble, you are to fall down and worship the golden statue that King Nebuchadnezzar has set up.  Whoever does not fall down and worship shall immediately be thrown into a furnace of blazing fire.'"  I didn't know if I should read this or not, but then what came to my mind immediately what was read this morning in church.  I thought that's what we have to be thinking about and the song that we sang about shouting the name of Jesus from the mountain tops and the streets - it has power.  That's what we have to concentrate on.

Scripture Reading Psalm 62:5-8 - "My soul, wait in silence for God only, for my hope is from him.  He only is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I shall not be shaken.  On God my salvation and my glory rest; the rock of my strength, my refuge is in God.  Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us."

Scripture Reading Matthew 5:14-16 - "You are the light of the world.  A city on a hill cannot be hidden; neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl, instead they put it on a stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before men that they may see your good deeds, and praise your Father in heaven."

Prophecy - "My children, I am the Lord your God.  There is only one God and I am it.  Many do not believe that I exist.  Their gods are of this world.  They worship toys.  They worship entertainment.  They worship the flesh.  They worship all forms of idols that are not me.  My children, I am the Creator of the world and I created each one of you.  I breathed life into each one of you, the very breath is the life of me that lives within you.  There is hope for this world yet, my children, but I need you.  I need you to respond with a "yes'.  I need you to be willing to sacrifice yourself in order to be purified and made whole and holy for it is only through this means, through the cross that you will be able to become my witnesses for my power exists in the cross.  Through the cross I will bear fruit and I will reveal to you the inner depth of your being, I will reveal to you truth that only I, myself, can give you, that the world cannot give you.  I need for you, my children, to believe that this is possible.  Do not fear, do not fear the cross because the cross will give you peace.  It is through the hardship that you discover new way of living, of coping, of loving.  My children, you are very precious and dear to me and I desire that my children come to know me in a deeper way and it will be through you."

Confirmation/Prophecy - I heard, " Do not fear."  And I can confirm some of what was just said and the first reading today.

The words of Refiner's Fire really struck me; that we are set apart for the Lord.  The line that really touched my heart was that we are set apart for you, my Master, ready to do your will.

Scripture Reading Isaiah 44:22-23 - "I have swept your sins away like a cloud.  Come back to me; I am the one who saves you."  Shout for joy, you heavens!  Shout, deep places in the earth!  Shout for joy, mountains, and every tree of the forest!  The Lord has shown his greatness by saving his people Israel."

Teaching

Leslie spoke on the significance of the number three in the Bible.  Most numbers carry a symbolic purpose in the Bible.  The number 3 appears in the Bible 467 times. In Hebrew, the number 3 means new life, harmony and wholeness.  Jesus' public ministry, which consisted of working miracles, casting out demons and healing the sick lasted for 3 years.  In Christianity, there are 3 patriarchs of fathers of the Israel nation:  Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.  There are 3 persons in God:  God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  There are 27 books in the New Testament which is 3 cubed.  Jesus told Peter to do 3 things:  Feed my lambs, take care of my sheep and feed my sheep and Peter was hurt when the Lord asked him if he loved him 3 times (John 21:15-17).  Jonah stayed in the belly of the whale for 3 days (Matt 12:39-41).  After Jesus' birth, the Magi presented him with 3 gifts:  gold - significance of Jesus as King, frankincense which represents the infant's divinity and identity as the Son of Man, and myrrh which touched upon Jesus' mortality (Matt 2: 1-12).  Jesus was lost in the temple for 3 days (Luke 2:41-47).  At the Transfiguration, Jesus took 3 of his disciples, Peter, James and John with him (Matt 17:1-8).  In the Book of Revelation, Jesus reveals that his being has 3 characteristics:  who is, who was and who is to come (Rev 1:4-7).  Jesus foretold of his death 3 times:  Mark 8:31-33, Mark 9:30-32, Mark 10:32-34.  Jesus goes back to pray in the garden of Gethsemane 3 times (Matt 26:36-45).  Peter denied Jesus 3 times following his arrest (Matt 26:69-75).  There were 3 crosses on Calvary (Luke 23:33).  There were 3 hours of darkness that covered the land while Jesus was suffering on the Cross (Luke 23:44).  Three things happened:  Jesus gave a loud cry and he breathed his last breath, and the veil of the Temple was torn in two.  Jesus died on a Friday at 3 p.m.  Jesus resurrected from the dead on the third day following his death on the Cross (Luke 24:6-7).
