Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream January 28, 2026

Jan 29, 2026

The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting.  1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said."  1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.

At beginning of meeting Scripture Reading Psalm 140:4-7  - Guard me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from violent men who plan to trip up my feet.  Arrogant men have hidden a trap for me, and with cords they have spread a net, by the wayside they have set snares for me. I say to the Lord, You are my God; give ear to the voice of my supplications, O Lord!  O Lord, my Lord, my strong deliverer, you have covered my head in the day of battle.

Prophecy - "I am here with you.  Do you sense my presence?  I give you my power.  Use it."

Scripture Reading Romans 8:18-23 - I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory about to be revealed to us.  For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the children of God; for the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and will obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.  We know that the whole creation has been groaning in labor pains until now; and not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly while we wait for adoption, the redemption of our bodies.

Scripture Reading Psalm 31:14-16 - But my trust is in you, O Lord; you are my God.  I am always in your care; save me from my enemies, from those who persecute me.  Look on your servant with kindness; save me in your constant love.

Scripture Reading Colossians 1:12 - Give thanks to the Lord who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints for the kingdom of light.

Scripture Reading Isaiah 40:31 - They that hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on eagles' wings; they will run and not grow weary, walk and not grow faint.

Scripture Reading Psalm 92:1-5 - It is good to give thanks to the Lord and to sing praises to your name, O Most  High;  to declare your lovingkindness in the morning and your faithfulness by night, with the ten-stringed lute and with the harp, with resounding music upon the lyre.  For you, O Lord, have made me glad by what you have done, I will sing for joy at the works of your hands.  How great are your works, O Lord!

Prophecy - "My Holy Spirit power is here.  Ask me for anything and I will listen."

Vision/Prophecy - I saw this beautiful sea of water, this calm still water.  And the sense was to trust in the Lord in the stillness of the water.

Scripture Reading Psalm 139:1-6 - O Lord, you have searched me and you know me!  You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discerned my thoughts from afar.  You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways.  Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. You beset me behind and before, and lay your hand upon me.  Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain it.

Vision -  I have a vision of a boat and paddle and (confirmation) of very still waters behind it.

Teaching

Logan Burda talked about the birth of one of his sons, how he lovingly held the new born against his chest and how the child's eyes locked with his when they opened.  This is the way God looks at us.  God wants us to be here with him, to be in his presence, to be held by him and let him behold you, watch you, gaze upon you.

That is mission.  You pray every day.  You let yourself be held  by God and then you look around you at all the people God has put in your life and you see who is struggling and you help them.  It's that simple.

Satan tricks us.  Satan tries to make us think that mission is this overwhelming, giant thing and it is my responsibility to convert all the souls.  That is not what God is about.  You are not the Savior.  The joy of mission is that while you are following God's lead, he's going to include you in things.  You are going to watch the Holy Spirit work in and through you and it's going to be amazing.

Your mission is going to be fruitful based on your prayer and the little moments  of smiling at someone, learning that person's name and remembering it.

You can't do it alone.  Join a discipleship group.  Do the formation and then go out.

The goal of our mission is simple.  It is to get ourselves and as many people as we've lived with and shared the common air with to that incredible moment, that meeting of sacred encounter on our deathbed, all united with one response when Jesus comes and tells you it's time to go to the Father.  With our final breath we say, "Let's go."

Praise Report

Debbie - January of last year was diagnosed with cancer.  Then she had chemo, radiation.  Afterwards, she was to have surgery but when they checked, the whole tumor was completely gone.  They are just keeping track of her.   She wanted to let us know that prayers work.  Thank you, Lord!!
