Scripture Reading at beginning of meeting - Psalm 126 - "When the Lord brought us back to Jerusalem, it was like a dream!  How we laughed, how we sang for joy!  Then the other nations said about us, 'The Lord did great things for them.'  Indeed he did great things for us; how happy we were!  Lord, make us prosperous again, just as the rain brings water back to dry riverbeds.  Let those who wept as they planted their crops, gather the harvest with joy!  Those who wept as they went out carrying the seed will come back singing for joy, as they bring in the harvest."

Prophecy - "I have come that you might have life and life to the full."

Scripture Reading Psalm 9:1-2 - "I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart; I will tell of your wonders.  I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High."

Prophecy - "O my precious little ones, how you gladden my heart, how I love you.  I so appreciate every moment you spend with me.  You are most, most precious to me, my little ones, and I hear every prayer that comes from your heart.  My little ones, be assured that I will answer every one of those prayers."         Fr. Michael, I feel the Lord is speaking to you directly here.  He is saying, "Trust me.  Trust me, I will take care of everything.  You are never alone.  Even when your precious one is in the hospital, I am with you and I am with her.  Rest assured, I will answer your prayer."

Prophecy - "I love your worship.  Continue to praise me.  I hear your praises.  I hear your every prayer.  I know your heart and I am here.  I will never forsake you."

Scripture Reading Psalm 34:3-4 - "Proclaim with me the greatness of Yahweh, together let us extol his name.  I seek Yahweh, and he answers me and frees me from all my fears."  For Fr. Michael and Maria, Psalm 27:13-14 - "This I believe:  I shall see the goodness of Yahweh, in the land of the living.  Put your hope in Yahweh, be strong, let your heart be bold, put your hope in Yahweh."

Scripture Reading Sirach 2:10 - "Think back to the ancient generations and consider this; has the Lord ever disappointed anyone who put his hope in him?  Has the Lord ever abandoned anyone who held him in constant reverence?  Has the Lord ever ignored anyone who prayed to him?  The Lord is kind and merciful; he forgives our sins and keeps us safe in time of trouble."

Prophecy - Last Thursday morning when I was praying, I just thanked the Lord for all the ways that he answered prayers at our prayer meeting.  I was so grateful and I was praising and thanking the Lord and when I was quiet, this is what I felt the Lord was saying, "Joan, you haven't seen anything yet, just wait.  There is more to come, more as the world darkens, my light will shine.  You will see miracles and be amazed.  I am at work. Do not fear.  Trust in me."

Prophecy - "My beautiful children, tonight I want you to know how much I love you.  My love at many times is not visible.  My love lives and reigns within your souls and it is there for those who want it; it is there for those who seek it and search it.  My children, I have given you the most precious gift I could ever give you.  I've given you my Son, my Son who died and who is now at my right hand side, my Son who has delivered you from your sins, from the evils of this world and the lies and deception of the devil.  I want you, my children, to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that my Son can deliver you.  He is the ruler of earth and of heaven and he is the one that can save your soul and that of your loved ones but you need to believe and trust.  And in that trust, surrender; surrender the evil that exists in each human being; that evil of doubt, that evil of self-centeredness, of pride, of egoism, and retaliation.  This the evil that I desire to deliver you from.  Do not be mistaken, suffering is part of the evil in this world, but I am allowing it that you may know the difference between darkness and light; that you may know the difference between deliverance and being in bondage.  Without recognizing the darkness, you cannot recognize the light.  The power of my Son is the light and he is the one that will reveal to you my truth.  Do not fear, my children, for I am with you leading and guiding you every step of the way.  I do not wish for anyone of my children to be lost.  I wish for each one of you to be transformed."

Fr. Michael - I just want to praise God and thank Marcie and Maria for their sharing.  Last week or so, I've been really inspired by God to say this short, short prayer:  "Sweet Jesus, I trust in your merciful love."  I think what was said tonight is a confirmation of that.

Confirmation of the last prophecy/Scripture Reading 1 John 1:5-6 - "Now, this is the message that we have heard from him and proclaim to you:  God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all.  If we say, 'We have fellowship with him,' while we continue to walk in darkness, we lie and do not act in truth."

Prophecy - "I am the Lord, your God.  I am with you always."

Confirmation of the word that there is more to come - I got the exact same thing.  The Lord says, "You ain't seen nothing yet."  It's the beginning of miracle upon miracles.  It's only the beginning.  You haven't seen anything yet.

After viewing the teaching - Scripture Reading Luke 10:19 - "Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall hurt you."

Scripture Readings Matthew 19:26, Luke 18:27, Mark 10:27 all say - "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God."

Teaching

Fr. Faricy spoke on "Spiritual Warfare".  In Matthew, Mark and Luke, 20% of the public life of Jesus is taken up with casting out evil spirits.  There is an enemy.  St. Paul says that we're fighting not against flesh and blood but against the spirits of the air.  Jesus has the most powerful Spirit; the Holy Spirit is more powerful than any other spirit.  You don't have to be afraid of evil spirits.  They are afraid of you.  If you are a Christian, you have authority over them.  You tell them to go in the name of Jesus; and if you want them to go, they will go.  If they are bothering you and you tell them to go, they will leave you.  They don't want to be discovered.  The danger is that I can get fascinated with evil spirits.  I can get into New Age, horoscopes, channeling, psychics, fortune tellers.  This is opening the door to evil spirits.  Another door - my own sinfulness.  In the Old Testament, God is a warrior.  He defends people against all enemies and he saves them.  That's true in the New Testament.  Jesus always wins, including his greatest triumph - his death on a cross.  Evil spirits are afraid of Jesus and anyone that acts in Jesus' name.  Tell them, "Leave me in Jesus' name," and they'll go.  If they come back, tell them again to leave. Eventually, they get tired of being kicked out and they stop coming back. Jesus is victorious over sin - over worldliness, pride, envy, anger, greed, and sins of the flesh like gluttony, lust, laziness, a certain kind of greediness.  He's triumphant over possessiveness, gossip, violence.  Anything that separates you from God, Jesus can win over that and he does.  Each one of us has the victory in Jesus.  Evil spirits hate us.  They are interested in getting us to do things to get us to hate ourself.  They are the enemy of human nature.  Turn to Jesus and he will give you the power you need over evil spirits.  How do I know I'm tempted by evil spirits?  If you're tempted to something that puts you down; it gets you to not like yourself.  They will attack you on your weak side, especially the sins of the flesh; gluttony, lack of moderation in eating, drinking, lust, pornography, sexual sins.  What do we need to protect ourselves against evil spirits?  Spiritual Armour.  The most important is the helmet of salvation.  It's trust in the Savior, trust in Jesus.

Testimony

Joe entitled his sharing, "With Open Arms".                                  One of my earliest experiences of prayer meetings, was people opening their hands and raising their arms in prayer.  My immediate reaction was that this opening of hands and raising of arms was far too emotional for me.  Kind of like being carried away, etc., etc.  So my conclusion was that I did not like it and this raising of arms was not for me.  During this period I felt that the power of suggestion might make me raise my arms and heaven forbid if I did that!  Precautionary measures:  Crossing my arms/interlocking my fingers behind my back/sitting on my hands.  After 6 months, however; I thought I would keep my hands open - not openly; but under the song book!  Then one day in prayer I just decided to ask the Lord, "What is all this opening of the hands and lifting of the arms anyway?"  In the quietness of my heart, I heard the Lord say to me:  "Joe, do you have children?"  I said, "Yes."  "Well, if they run to you, do you cross your arms or put them behind your back or sit on them?"  I said, "No."  "What do you do then?"  I said, "I open my arms."  Then Jesus said, "Similarly, if you open your arms, you are welcoming me into your life."  Wow!  I have not stopped opening/raising my arms since.
