The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting. 1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said." 1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.
Scripture Reading Proverbs 30:5 - "Every word of God is tested; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him."
Scripture Reading John 10:11, 14 - "I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and I know my own and my own know me."
Prophecy - "Come, come, my children, I've come to embrace you again. I've come to love you just where you're at. I see deep into your heart and I see the love that you have for me and I want to fill it again with my love to overflowing so that as you pass people, people will see my love pouring out, and as you smile, my love to them will shine through you. Come, spend time with me. I have lots to say to you; many things are coming that you need to know and to be ready because I want my children to be all ready for their task at hand. My dearest children, do not be surprised because even your simple smile of your love radiates much farther, much louder, much more than you can ever imagine. So, give a simple smile and I will smile through you."
Scripture Reading Sirach 2:1-5 - "My child, when you come to serve the Lord, prepare yourself for testing. Set your heart right and be steadfast, and do not be impetuous in time of calamity. Cling to him and do not depart, so that your last days may be prosperous. Accept whatever befalls you, and in times of humiliation be patient. For gold is tested in the fire, and those found acceptable, in the furnace of humiliation."
Word of Knowledge/Prophecy - The Lord wants us to pray in tongues for a little bit. There's a special healing. He wants to reveal something to us but we have to pray in tongues. (after tongues): The Lord said, "Do not be afraid to speak."
Prophecy - "My children, I'm in love with you all. Your singing is beautiful, joyous and holy. Keep praising me and I will pour out my love to you and much more."
Confirmation/Prophecy - I would like to confirm the words in the prophecy that was spoken. "My children, there is a great need out there in the world, a need for people to listen, a need for people to care and to love. And you, my children, I have chosen to meet this need. But in order to meet this need, my children, I need open hearts and open minds. There will come before you a time of testing. My word is testing the spirit, testing your faithfulness, testing your perseverance, testing your commitment and your life toward my divine will that I desire for each one of you to follow. This calling is not an easy calling. It requires a time of discernment, it requires a time of purification, but in that testing you will be made whole and holy, and it is people of holiness that I desire to build my church, people who say yes to my will for them, people who say yes to want to build my church, to want to be open to the gifts of the Holy Spirit that I have empowered within you. It's through these gifts that you will be able to see with my eyes, you will be able to speak with my words, and you will be able to hear my voice to know what it is you are to speak and how you are to minister. So, my children, I'm asking you tonight to not fear. I am giving you a gift of courage. I'm going to give you the gift of perseverance and endurance that you will need in order to be able to follow this journey that I am calling each one of you. I love you, my children. I love you with an everlasting love and my desire for you is that you be happy, and your happiness will come when you are able to respond for all the gifts that I bestow upon you, for all the love that I pour upon you, and to being able to share in this ministry of welcoming my people, of nourishing and feeding my people with my healing love through you."
Prophecy - When we were praying in tongues, I asked the Lord what would you want us to say. And into my head popped a line from a song. "You are my sunshine."
Scripture Reading Matthew 11:28-30 - "Come to me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Fr. Matthias Thelen spoke on "God is not against us; he's for us." God is love itself. He did not come to condemn us but to save us (John 3:16). Why is it difficult to believe that God is for us? Three reasons why we sometimes have a hard time believing that God is for us and not against us:
1) Sin distorts our view of God. Sin causes us to mistrust God. Sin destroys divine life within us. It destroys our relationship with God. Sin is our spiritual cancer. God has come to heal us of our cancer. He wants to enter into the midst of our sin to heal us from it. He wants to undo the shame and guilt in our heart. He is the source of our freedom and love. His mercy is the key.
2) Unprocessed suffering. Jesus is God's answer to our suffering. God sees our suffering. God sends Jesus into the midst of the suffering, to take it upon himself, to unite ourselves in it, unite himself to us in it, so as to free us from it. Know that you're not alone. It's O.K. to ask God questions, tough questions. God's love is powerful when we process the suffering with Jesus.
3) We don't thank God enough. We don't live in gratitude. Everything is a gift from God. When we stop thanking God, when we stop choosing to live in gratitude, what begins to happen is that we form this mentality of entitlement which always is focused on what we don't have, what we deserve. It's all about us. As a result, we get really possessive with our time, talent and treasure. We begin to look at those things for happiness more than God. The biggest devil's trap is worshipping the things God gives to us, over God who gave them to us. For example not going to Mass on Sunday because of idols in our life: i.e. family, friends, work, sports. These things become #1 over God. This is the result of not recognizing what God has done for us, what he is doing for us. We begin to see God as a competitor for our happiness, rather than a source of it.
