The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting. 1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said." 1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.
Scripture Reading at beginning of meeting Phil 1:6 - "Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ."
Jesus keeps telling me to read the bible every day and keep using John.
Scripture Reading Psalm 108:3-6 - "I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples, and I will sing praises to you among the nations. For your steadfast love is higher than the heavens, and your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let your glory be over all the earth. Give victory with your right hand, and answer me, so that those whom you love may be rescued."
Prophecy - "Yes, tell my people to invite me into their day, invite me in their walks, invite me as they work, invite me as they play. I'm right there. Listen, listen, listen to my voice. I am whispering in your ear. I'm whispering words of love to you, but listen very closely, my people. But I will not go where I am not invited, so invite me, my people, and I will be there."
Prophecy - O my little ones, you have no idea who it is who loves you so deeply. Yes, I am asking you to take time out for me, to be alone with me. In the silence I will speak so loud. My little ones, I know that your lives are busy and there are many distractions. But I beg of you, please keep me first in your heart and remember to come to me, not only when you are in need but when you have plenty. Remember who it is who gives you all that you have. And there is so much more, my little ones. I want to give you all that I have. The great I AM is in your midst. I am there not only for the whole world, I am there for you. As if you were the only one on earth, I am there for you. You have my full attention. You have my love without reserve. My little one, come, come to drink from the fountain of life, come."
Confirmation - Jesus is saying, "You have my full attention. Give me your full attention."
Confirmation/Sharing - Six weeks before we had our family reunion, we got together with those in our family who do pray and who wanted to pray for the family reunion and to pray for each person and to pray for unity and healing. The Lord answered that prayer and it's exactly as the first word said: Jesus whispers in our ear, but he won't come unless he's invited. And he was definitely invited to our family reunion. So, there was peace, there was unity, there was joy, no accidents, no disasters in driving because many drove long distances. I just praise and thank the Lord because of his faithfulness. We just met 20 minutes each week, 6 weeks before the reunion and he blessed us abundantly.
Prophecy - "My children, many of you are parents. All of you have been children. And the love between a parent and a child when one is present to the other is the same love that I have for all my people. Tonight, I am calling you to be present to one another. I am calling you to reach out to one another. And as you do, you will come to see and hear my voice to those whom you love, to those whom you are present with."
Prophecy - "I am opening doors that were once closed. I'm closing the doors that should not have been opened. I am opening new doors for you to walk through. Do not be afraid but lean on me and I will guide you. The battle is long but I am right here. There's nothing you cannot do with me by your side. The light is coming. Do not give up. Look for me and know that I am here for you."
Prophetic sense - This will definitely need discernment. The Lord has put this word on my heart that a lot of the situations that are occurring in the world, like the heat or the floods or tornadoes and all that. We blame it on the environment. We blame it on climate change. But the Lord put it on my heart, yes, that is part of the problem and we have to look after our earth, but the other cause of all these things that are taking place where the earth is revolting is because of moral pollution. And I keep praying into that word and saying, "Lord, what can we do?" Of course we can pray for a better world but I just pray that all the events that are taking place and some of them quite terrifying, it's a call for people to come back to the Lord. And so, I pray into those disasters and things like that, that people will take heed and return to him. And so I thought I'd share that word because it's been on my heart and so I just leave it with you.
I, too, get the same message from the Lord.
Sharing - Years ago, I went to the park with a friend and she was just diagnosed with cancer of the breast. She didn't want to have surgery, she wanted a healing. This is how the Lord used St. Therese. She was praying to St. Therese. So we're walking across the park to find an area to pray in. She looks down at the ground and what did she see, a live rose, just lying there and it looked brand new. It didn't look like it had stayed there for one or two days. It looked new. She picked up the rose and she said, "St. Therese has sent me a rose. I've been healed of cancer." And she was. Whenever I see a rose, I think of her. It was a white rose.
Scripture Reading Isaiah 24:1-6 - "See how Yahweh lays the earth waste, makes it a desert, buckles its surface, scatters its inhabitants, priest and people alike master and slave, mistress and maid, seller and buyer, lender and borrower, creditor and debtor. Ravaged, ravaged the earth will be, despoiled, despoiled, for Yahweh has uttered this word. The earth is mourning, pining away, the pick of the earth's people are withering away. The earth is defiled by the feet of its inhabitants, for they have transgressed the law, violated the decree, broken the everlasting covenant. That is why the curse has consumed the earth and its inhabitants pay the penalty, that is why the inhabitants of the earth have been burnt up and few people are left."
Scripture Reading Matthew 6:19-21, 25-26 - "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal; but store up for yourselves treasure in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will also be. Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?"
I like the next verse, verse 27: "Which of you by worrying can add a moment to his life span?"
Fr. Bob Miller spoke on "The Destructiveness and Blessedness of Fear". Misconceptions of fear: Fear is bad. Fear is one of the most basic human emotions. Fear is a natural warning system. That's healthy fear. Fear in the bible is also constructive. Psalm 111:10 - "Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." Phil 2 - "Work out your salvation in fear and trembling." In the bible when people met God, their instinctive reaction was fear. We ought to have a healthy fear of not being with the Lord for all eternity. Luke 5 - "Do not be afraid of those who can kill the body, fear the one who has the power to cast your soul into hell after you are dead." Have a healthy fear of God: awe, reverence, respect for this power. The second side of fear is the negative side of fear. It can be destructive. It can be paralyzing. Mark 5 - "Fear is useless; what is needed is trust." That's the fear that we need to recognize, acknowledge it, name it, and invite God into it. Two insights: Mark 4:35 & following: Jesus is in the boat sleeping when a storm arises. The apostles are scared. They wake Jesus up, he calms the storm and asks them, "Why were you afraid? Do you not have any faith at all?" A reminder to us: Jesus says, "I am with you always. Be not afraid." Jesus is with us at every moment of our lives. God's presence pushes out fear. 1 John 4:4 - "Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world." 1 John 4:18 - "Love has no room for fear. Perfect love casts out fear. Love is not yet perfect in one who is afraid." So the challenge for us is to increase in love, grow in love of the Lord. God is always with us. In the Old Testament, he came in the form of angels, prophets, great leaders. In the New Testament, God came in the presence of Jesus Christ and the Spirit of the Living God. God's Spirit is in us today. The second wisdom that Scripture teaches us through Peter is to keep our eyes on Jesus (i.e. walking on water in storm, sinks when he takes off Jesus). Hebrews 12:2 - "Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus who inspires and perfects your faith." "Be not afraid" is mentioned 365 times in the bible, one for every day of the year. Story of little boy flying on a passenger plane by himself, having no fear even in a storm. When asked at the end of the flight why he was not afraid, he said, "My Daddy is flying the plane. My Daddy is the pilot." My Daddy, your Daddy (Abba) is flying the plane!
Scripture Reading Psalm 46:9-10 - "He has stopped wars to the ends of the earth. The bow he breaks; he splinters the spears; he burns the shields with fire. Be still, and know that I am God; I am exalted among the nations, I am exalted in the earth."
The Lord's plan is to unite churches.
Word of Knowledge - This was sitting on my heart all evening. God is doing a tremendous healing among all of us tonight. Claim it. It's a tremendous healing: mentally, physically, spiritually. Something is happening among all of us and the Lord is saying, "You wait and see what I am doing in your life. Just wait and see and declare it."
