Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream February 1, 2023

Feb 02, 2023

The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting.  1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said."  1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.

Prophecy - "My dear people, there were many things that were good in our country and the world in the past.  This is not so today when it comes to our education, respect for life and morals.  But you, the Discover Faith prayer group, have been steadfast in holding on to me and your Jesus who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life; and I love you and I bless you for who you are and what you are doing.  Remain in me and I will remain in you.  You are my prized possession."

Scripture Reading Ephesians 6:10-14 - "The Armor of God.  Finally be strong in the Lord  and in the strength of his might.  Put on the full armor of God so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.  For our struggle is not against the flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the fowlers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.  Therefore, take up the full armor of God so that you will be able to resist in the evil day and having done everything to stand firm.  Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth and having put on the breast plate of righteousness."

Confirmation of the prophetic word - I was reflecting on John 15 this afternoon where it says, 'Remain in me and I in you,' so many times; there's John 15:4, there's John 15:5 where it said, 'I am the vine you are the branches.  Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit.'

Scripture Reading Psalm 145:8-13 - "The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and great in loving kindness.  The Lord is good to all, and his mercies are over all his works.  All your works shall give thanks to you, O Lord, and your godly ones shall bless you.  They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom and talk of your power, to make known to the sons of men your mighty acts and the glory of the majesty of your kingdom.  Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom and your dominion endures throughout all generations."

Scripture Reading Isaiah 44:21 - "The Lord says, Israel, remember that you are my servant.  I created you to be my servant, and I will never forget you."

Prophecy - "My people, I have asked you before to pray for all people, like the sick, the dying, the poor, the mentally ill, the prisoners, the young who are abused, the addict, the depressed, the seniors in nursing homes and your loved ones.  Do not forget these people.  They need your prayer, your love.  Bring them up to me so I can work in them.  Do not forget.  Thank you, my people."

Confirmation of first prophecy tonight/Prophecy - "My people, I love you so much that I am doing a new thing.  I will be revealing myself to you, my children, in ways that have not been revealed before.  But I need you, my children, to trust in me because the ways of the world will deceive you.  But my Spirit reigns within your heart and I am alive and I am real and I want for you to know this, that my people who come to know me in a deeper and more fuller way, I desire to heal you, my children, to heal every part of your being, in your mind, in your heart, in your soul.  My children, look for me daily in your prayer time, in the stillness of the day.  Look for me in my creation.  But most of all, my children, look for me in the praises that my people give, in the worship of the Mass.  The Lord is there in the worship of the Mass as you will find me.  It is there in the worship of the Mass that you will find healing, and it is there in the worship of the Mass that you will be made whole and holy."

Words of Knowledge - The Lord is going to heal someone of blurry vision, someone with an overeating problem, someone will have knee replacement surgery, a person needing dental surgery, and someone will have a successful gall bladder surgery.  The Lord desires we go to confession and forgive more often.

Scripture Reading Hebrews 12:12 - "So strengthen your drooping hands and your weak knees.  Make straight paths for your feet, that what is lame may not be dislocated but healed."

Teaching

Testimony by Al Kresta, entitled "A Severe Pruning", the story of how he got into a wheelchair.  For St. Paul, the power wasn't in his will.  It was the Spirit that empowered him and that is why he writes, "We hold this treasure in earthen vessels that the surpassing power may be from God and not from us."  We don't write our life story, we discover it.  Happiness does not rest in our circumstances.  Al got the flesh eating bacteria and would have died if the doctors did not amputate his leg.  Al felt there was a spiritual stupor connected to this.  Many, many people prayed for him.  He was loved.  He was apprehensive but he had gratitude that he had lived his life in Christ, that he knew Jesus.  Al had been hospitalized with depression some years previous and family and friends feared that this would destroy him.  However,  Al had a tremendous sense of supernatural empowerment.  He felt like he was like the paralytic in Mark 2.  The paralytic's friends lower him down through the roof to be in the presence of Jesus.  Al believes that the prayers of God's people had been lifting him up into the presence of Jesus.  He had a sense of purpose, a sense of community.  Al accepted this illness as an example of God's love for him, an example of divine chastening.  Al said that in his gluttony, his drivenness, his sedentary schedule had undermined his health.  He had let his sense of calling turn into drivenness.  He learned the difference between discouragement and disappointment.  Catherine of Sienna:  "God does not ask for a perfect work, but for infinite desire."  So, as long as a soul wants to move in a Godward direction, there's nothing to worry about.  St. Paul:  "We are not discouraged but rather, although our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day, for this momentary light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison as we look not to what we see, but to what is not seen; to not what is transitory, but to what is eternal."

 Praise Report

Lucie gave thanks to the Lord for answered prayers.  Lucie and Frank were all set to make arrangements to move to a residence which was their second choice because there was no chance to get into their first choice.  They signed the papers but did not pay their security deposit.  They also gave their notice on Friday at their present residence.  On Monday morning, while they were praying, they got a phone call from a place that Lucie had put her name down five years ago.  They were offered a two bedroom suite.  They saw it and it has all the services that would meet their needs. They are able to stay at their present place as no one had taken the suite yet.  They will be signing the papers with the third place that Lucie feels that God wanted them to have and they will be moving at the end of February.  Praise the Lord!
