The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting. 1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said." 1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.
Jesus will always be with you.
Scripture Reading Isaiah 41:31 - They that hope in the Lord will renew their strength, they will soar as with eagles' wings; they will run and not grow weary, walk and not grow faint." I just found those words so encouraging.
Scripture Reading Hosea 2:18-20 - "It is Yahweh who speaks. I will betroth you to myself forever, betroth you with integrity and justice, with tenderness and love; I will betroth you to myself with faithfulness and you will come to know Yahweh."
Scripture Reading Psalm 116:1-2 - "I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my supplication. Because he has inclined his ear to me, therefore I shall call upon him as long as I live."
Confirmation/Vision - I can confirm the reading on eagle's wings because I saw this, at first it seemed like it was a bird and then it appeared more like a dove, like the Holy Spirit. And the sense that came with it was "so light". You were just kind of, flying on eagle's wings confirmed the feeling, the sense that came with this image of the Holy Spirit; sort of in the clouds and just kind of light. And also, with that sense came how we feel when we give our burdens to Christ. He's asked us to give our burdens to our Lord. And I also heard later, I heard that the Lord was showing me and he's asking to armour yourself, to make sure you remember to pray protection and to armour yourself with Christ."
Scripture Reading Isaiah 54:4-5 - "Do not be afraid - you will not be disgraced again; you will not be humiliated. You will forget your unfaithfulness as a young wife, and your desperate loneliness as a widow. Your Creator will be like a husband to you - the Lord Almighty is his name. The holy God of Israel will save you - he is the ruler of all the world."
Scripture Reading Psalm 66:17-20 - "I cried aloud to him, and he was extolled with my tongue. If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. But truly God has listened; he has given heed to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, because he has not rejected my prayer or removed his merciful love from me."
Scripture Reading Matthew 6:14 - I believe this bible scripture is for someone in our prayer group. "For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."
Scripture Reading Psalm 86:8-10 - "None among the gods can equal you, O Lord; nor can their deeds compare to yours. All the nations you have made shall come to bow before you, Lord, and give honor to your name. For you are great and do wondrous deeds; and you alone are God."
Prophecy - "My children, tonight I am bestowing upon you a wonderful gift, that gift of healing; healing of past memories, healing of failed hopes, healing of discouragement and despair. My children, I desire only what is good for you. Yes, my children, you may not understand my way, but my way bears fruit, so I am pouring upon you tonight the gift of trust, that you may trust and know that all will work out for the good. I see the whole picture. I can pull the pieces together like a puzzle. Believe, my children, that I have your best interests at heart. Know that I love you. Know that you are so, so dear to me."
Prophecy - "Where you are, I am, my little one, and I will never leave you. I have chosen you from before you were born. I have a purpose for each one of you. I have a plan and my plan is perfect. You all have a specific place in my plan, so I'm asking you to be obedient. I'm asking you to listen carefully. Go where I send you. Say what I put on your lips. Share what I give you. Remember that you are my hands, my feet and my mouthpiece. Without you, many, many will never hear my voice. So many will not get my message. If you don't go, no one else will. Be obedient, my little one, I need you so desperately. These souls need you so desperately. I am coming soon. Prepare them. Prepare the way. I am with you always. I will never leave you. Trust me. Trust me to put in your mouth what you need to speak. Trust me to go where I send you. Know that it is I, the Lord your God, who summons you. Follow my way. Stay on the path that I have chosen for you. Do my will and my peace will be with you. My love will overflow through you, in you. You are so precious to me, so special. You truly are my chosen one. Never forget that. Follow me every step of the way. I will keep you safe. I will keep you in my will, but you need to surrender your will to me. I love you, my little one. Believe me, trust me, follow me."
Vision - I woke up the other morning with this picture in my head. I saw a high mountain on which stood a huge castle. From the base of the castle a mighty river flowed down the mountain which I perceived to be a river of God's love and graces. On the side of the mountain were many other castles which I saw in three groupings. The first grouping was of the castles whose walls were collapsed but piles of debris remained blocking the flow of God's love and graces to enter into the heart of the people residing there. On one of these, I saw my name, and on some of the blocks of debris were written the words: pride, judgmental attitude, Satan's lies, fear, and so on, which to me represented areas of my life which I need to surrender to the Lord so that I may receive his graces and love more fully into my heart. I saw no other names. The walls in the second group of castles were still standing although they had huge cracks and gaping holes. The message I received about this group is that they represented those people - members of our family and friends who we pray for who have abandoned the practice of their faith. I heard these words: "I have heard your prayer. Be at peace. Know that my Spirit is at work in their lives. Continue to pray and trust in my merciful love." The third group of castles fortresses stood with only small cracks in their walls. The message I received concerning this group is that they represented those people who may come to our minds when we pray the Rosary and ask Jesus to "take all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of Thy mercy" - those who we may have judged as being unworthy of salvation. With these words came an image of the "good thief" on the cross with Jesus. And I heard the words: "Pray for them. Nothing is impossible with God." At first I thought this message was for me only, but after discerning, it was decided that I should share this because it may have a message for somebody as well......Later on during the meeting, the following was added to the vision: A Scripture passage that goes along with this vision. "Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord." How God can work, even at the last second before they take their last breath, God can do these miracles. So, let's continue to pray for them.
Prophecy - All week what has been coming to me is that when you feel alone and when you're feeling unable to do anything, the Lord was saying, "Lean on me. Lean on me. I'm close by."
Confirmation of last vision - I got exactly that same sense during the praise and worship. I do believe that God will answer prayers and prayers involve purification, change of heart transformation and conversion.
A video teaching by Fr. Tony Ricard. Fr. Tony asked God, with all the gifts God had given him, where could God best use those gifts for the sake of his work. That's when he started thinking about religious life. There is so much of Fr. Tony's cultural history and heritage that he relies on to share the power of God's love. Slaves put it on the line for God. They knew the power of God's love. Their faith was their journey to freedom. They were able to talk about freedom through the music. Re the Eucharist: When you have Jesus in you, you are a living tabernacle of Christ and wherever you go you bear Christ with you. Don't be afraid to defend the poor, those who are called outcasts by society. When you have Jesus in you, not only do you have the protection but you have the call from God to be a witness wherever you may go. Every time you come to Holy Communion, Jesus becomes a part of who you are. If you think about it, if you are what you eat, and you've been going to Communion for years, by now every cell in your body has been touched by the body and blood of Christ. Song: "I ain't gonna let nobody turn me around, turn me around, turn me around. I ain't gonna let nobody turn me around, I'm gonna keep on a-walking, keep on a-talking, marching up to freedom land." Our Lady of Guadaloupe image on the tilma is the only place that Mary painted her own picture. We are all linked, connected. Every child that walks this earth belongs to you and you have to do what you can to make sure that 50, 60, 70 years from now, they're remembering the love that you gave because you got it at that table (Holy Communion) and you brought it out into the world.
Joan: It was a treat from the Lord last Sunday. Usually Joe and I go the nine o'clock Mass but we had company and so we went to the 11 o'clock Mass. At the end of Mass, somebody stopped and talked to both of us, but out of the corner of my eye, I saw this couple with two children. They were about 3 or 4 rows behind us. I looked at the little baby that the man was holding and I thought, "What a cute baby." As we were leaving the church, Joe was ahead of me, for some reason I stopped where this couple was sitting. I don't usually do that. I might nod and say, "Hello," but I don't usually stop and talk. I said to the man holding the baby, "That's a really cute baby. How old is he?" "He's eight months." And the mother looked at me and said, "Weren't you on a prayer team at Holy Rosary? I remember you from that church. Isn't your husband East Indian? Do you remember praying with me?" And I didn't. I didn't recognize her and I didn't remember. And so, she went on. She said, "Well, you both prayed that we would be able to conceive because we had been trying and trying and nothing, and here's the result, this baby. We went to the back of the church and shared it with Joe and he did remember them. I thought, "Thank you, Lord." What a blessing that was and it's sometimes good to hear that there are results from our prayers! So I wanted to share that to encourage everybody else. The Lord gave us a treat that day!
David: A young man, Will, who was in ATV accident and was not discovered for some time. He was unconscious when they found him and he was in a coma. Then through a MRI, they found he had a brain stroke and he's been in a coma since. Today the doctors were working with him and they said, "Can you open your eyes?" They could tell that he was trying to open his eyes but they didn't open. Then they said, "Can you give me a thumbs up?" And he instantly went thumbs up. They went, "Oh my gosh, this is like an amazing sign for this young man. This has been a week and half now." His wife was not at the hospital when that happened and when she got to the hospital, they told her what happened, including not opening the eyes; and she felt God, on the way to the hospital, was saying, "Will has something for you when you get there." So, she went in and asked him to open his eyes and he was able to open one eye and he just stared at her and it was a moment of God's love coming through. David thanked us for our prayers and asked for continued prayers. God is working a miracle.
