Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream August 3, 2022

Aug 04, 2022

At beginning of meeting, Scripture Reading Psalm 37:4-5 - "Take delight in the Lord; and he will give you the desires of your heart.  Commit your way to the Lord, trust in him, and he will act."

Vision/Prophecy - I had an image of Jesus walking, and when we were following in his footsteps, we were fine, but when we stepped to the right or to the left, we faltered.  And Jesus was saying, "Follow me.  Don't look to the right or to the left, keep following me.  Walk where I walk."  And then I got a prophecy.  The Lord said that he speaks to us in his Word, also in the quiet place in our spirit.  He said, "My children, when you feel rain, the sun or the snow on our faces, that's when he's kissing our cheeks, letting us know that he is with us.  He is in everything that we feel.  He is in everything, in the flowers, in the trees, in the rain, in the sun.  And he said, "Listen, listen to everything around us."  Listen to everything and we will hear him and we will hear him in the quiet voice in our spirit.  Just listen and he will open our ears so that we can hear him.

Scripture Reading Psalm 103:1-2 - "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name.  Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of his benefits."

Confirmation/Scripture Reading Psalm 139:1-10 - "Lord, you have probed me, and you know me:  you know when I sit and when I stand; you understand my thoughts from afar.  My dreams and my rest you scrutinize, with all my ways you are familiar.  Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know the whole of it.  Behind me and before me, you hem me in and rest your hand upon me.  Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; too lofty for me to attain.  Where can I go from your Spirit?  From your presence where can I flee?  If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I sink to the netherworld, you are present there.  If I take the wings of the dawn, if I settle at the farthest limits of the sea, even there your hand shall guide me, and your right hand hold me fast."

Prophecy - "I love you so dearly and I'm pouring out my heart upon you.  My dearest children, come, come open your hearts, always be willing and waiting because I'm always willing and waiting to fill your hearts with my precious love.  As the rain comes, as the sun shines and as the winter winds blow and the summer winds blow, I am blowing on you to keep renewing, to keep filling your hearts, my dearest children."

Teaching

Joe spoke on the first beatitude, "Blessed are the poor in spirit for the kingdom of heaven is theirs."  The beatitudes were things that Jesus said at different times and Matthew put some of those key phrases together in order to give a complete picture as to how the children of God should live.  Beatitude:  a state of utmost bliss.   The dictionary of the bible describes the beatitude as a declaration of blessedness on the ground of virtue of good fortune.  Blessed:  someone who is favored, one on whom God smiles.  The story of Job.  Poor:  Those who have no material possessions and enjoy no esteem or reputation.  Mark 12:41-44 - The poor widow gave everything she had.  Matthew 19:16-22.  Matthew 6:19-21 (treasure in heaven), Matthew 6:25 (not to worry).    Luke 16:19-26 - The parable of the rich man and Lazarus.  James 2:5 - Those who are poor who God chose to be rich in faith.  Heaven is open to everyone.  It's just that one can lose focus when one is rich.  The father of St. Francis of Assisi was wealthy.  One day when he came across a loathsome leper, his values changed.  He founded the Order of Franciscans who to this day live simply and serve the poor.  Poor in spirit:  Quality of spirit can apply to both the rich, as well as the poor.  Luke 18:9-14 - The parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector.  Luke 9:46-48 - For the one who is least among you is the one who is the greatest.  From the diary of St. Faustina #320 - "Jesus made known to me how very pleasing to him were prayers of atonement.  He said to me, "The prayer of a humble and loving soul disarms the anger of my Father and draws down an ocean of blessings."  After the adoration half way to my cell, I was surrounded by a pack of huge black dogs who were jumping and howling and trying to tear me to pieces.  I realized that they were not dogs, but demons. One of them spoke up in a rage, "Because you have snatched so many souls away from us this night, we will tear you to pieces."  I answered, "If that is the will of the most merciful God, tear me to pieces, for I have justly deserved it, because I am the most miserable of sinners, and God is ever holy, just and infinitely merciful."  To these words all the demons answered as one, "Let us flee, for she is not alone; the Almighty is with her!"  And they vanished like dust, like the noise of the road, while I continued on my way to my cell undisturbed, finishing my Te Deum and pondering the infinite and unfathomable mercy of God."  Joe also spoke of the time teams from his church went evangelizing around the area of the church where both rich and poor live.  The response of the people was very interesting.

Praise Reports

Georgina - As I was planning my annual trip to The Pas to visit family and friends, I got some unpleasant news.  My car needed repairs.  The work order showed an amount I needed for the trip.  God provided.  A friend, a car mechanic in The Pas offered to do the repair for less.  Another friend offered me to stay with her for a couple of nights (saving me cabin rental money).  Plus parking passes were free that week.  I am grateful to God for doing all this.  We were able to have the family time we so wished for.

Lori Ann - Friday, Rene fell on the steps and his hand which doesn't work so well was totally swollen.  She couldn't see the doctor until Tuesday because of the long weekend.  They advised us to go to emergency for all the tests.  Yesterday, they were there for 91/2 hours.  They got there before noon. Lori Ann said that they were blessed in that Rene did not have any pain because that arm doesn't have much feeling, and all the tests came out positive.  He did not have any damage from the fall.  Also, they were treated so well by the staff.  But at 8:30, Lori Ann got an alarm on her phone to take cover, tornado warning in her area.  So she decided she needed help and phoned for prayer.  Before the prayer ended, they came into the room to take Rene for his last test, the CT scan.  Thank you, Lord!

Joan - Joan's eye has healed perfectly from the cataract operation.  She thanked everyone for their prayers.  Also, two weeks ago, she asked for prayer for their grandson who had mono.  The next day, he was feeling better after being really sick and he's improved daily.  He's back at work this week.  That really is a miracle because of mono you don't recover that quickly.  And also, the fatigue that comes with mono; he did not have that.  Joan thanked God and everyone for their prayers.
