Prophecy - "Come, come, my children, I come with an open heart to bless you.  I come, I see, I love you.  I want to come even closer to you, each and every day.  Think of me, pray, praise me as you do your tasks of the day cause I am there waiting, listening, wanting to bless your tasks, wanting to raise your hands, your spirits, your mind.  Come, I am always there, so don't hesitate to come and give yourself to me because I want to give myself to you, my dear lovely children."

Prophetic Sense - In one of the songs towards the beginning it talked of Jesus picking us up, holding our hands up to him and keeping us up; and his love for each one of us was so definite in that moment, and I thank him.

Scripture Reading Amos 5:1-9 - "Hear this word which I utter over you, a lament, O house of Israel:  she is fallen, to rise no more, the virgin Israel; she lies abandoned upon her land, with no one to raise her up.  For thus says the Lord God:  the city that marched out with a thousand shall be left with a hundred, another that marched out with a hundred shall be left with ten, of the house of Israel.  For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel:  seek me, that you may live, but do not see Bethel; do not come to Gilgal, and do not cross to Beer-sheba.  For Gilgal shall be led into exile, and Bethel shall become nought.  Seek the Lord, that you may live, lest he come upon the house of Joseph like a fire that shall consume, with none to quench it for the house of Israel: he made the Pleiades and Orion, who turns darkness into dawn, and darkens day into night; who summons the waters of the sea, and pours them out upon the surface of the earth; who flashes destruction upon the strong, and brings ruin upon the fortress; whose name is Lord."

Scripture Reading Psalm  139:1-4 - "O Lord, you have searched me and known me:  you know when I sit down and when I rise up; you understand my thoughts from afar.  You scrutinize my path and my lying down; and are intimately acquainted with all my ways.  Even before there is a word on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it all."

Scripture Reading Sirach 2:1-6 - "My son, when you come to serve the Lord, prepare yourself for trials.  Be sincere of heart and steadfast, undisturbed in time of adversity.  Cling to him, forsake him not; thus will your future be great.  Accept whatever befalls you, in crushing misfortune be patient; for in fire gold is tested, and worthy men in the crucible of humiliation.  Trust God and he will help you; make straight your ways and hope in him."

Prophecy - "My children, you know I love you.  You know that I have not abandoned you, that I have been with you time and again, day by day.  My children, I am calling you to know me deeper tonight.  I want you to know that whenever you suffer, whenever trials, tribulations come, you are in my presence and my presence is in you.  For this is the way of the cross, this is the way to my majesty and my glory.  Do not run from trials and hardships but embrace it because it is in these trials and hardships that my presence truly is manifested in you.  Whenever you surrender them to me, I will bring glory to them, and I will purify these trials and tribulations, that good may come out of them.  I need for you, my children, to believe this, to know this, to hope in this.  For it is in this truth that you will be set free, it is in this truth that I will reveal to you my deepest love and I will bring glory and majesty in your life and the life to come."

Scripture Reading Titus 2:11-15 - "For God has revealed his grace for the salvation of all people.  That grace instructs us to give up ungodly living and worldly passions, to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this world, as we wait for the blessed Day we hope for, when the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ will appear.  He gave himself for us, to rescue us from all wickedness and to make us a pure people who belong to him alone and are eager to do good.  Teach these things and use your full authority as you encourage and rebuke your hearers.  Let none of them look down on you."

Scripture Reading Hebrews 12:5-7,11 - "My child, pay attention when the Lord corrects you and do not be discouraged when he rebukes you because the Lord corrects everyone he loves and punishes everyone he accepts as a child.  When we are punished, it seems to us at the time something to make us sad, not glad.  Later, however, those who have been disciplined by such punishment reap the peaceful reward of a righteousness."

Prophetic Sense - When we were praising the Lord, I just felt that the Lord wanted us to know that we were under his awning of protection over us.

Teaching

Richard spoke on "Being an Oasis".  John 13:4-5, 12-15 - "Jesus rose from supper and took off his outer garments.  He took a towel and tied around his waist.  Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet and dry them with the towel around his waist.  So when he had washed their feet (and) put his garments back on and reclined at table again, he said to them, 'Do you realize what I have done for you?  You call me teacher and master, and rightly so, for indeed I am.  If I, therefore, the master and teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash one another's feet.  I have given you a model to follow, so that as I have done for you, you should also do.'"  Definition of an oasis - "A fertile or green spot in a desert or wasteland, made so by the presence of water, or, a situation or place preserved from surrounding unpleasantness; a refuge: an oasis of serenity amid chaos."  Where or in what situations does God call us to be this oasis?  Everywhere and in every situation - families, spouses, work, friends, etc.  Deuteronomy 24:5 - "And he (husband) shall cheer up his wife which he has taken."  We need to up-build one another, love one another, more communication, spend time with your children, respect one another, be models.  Who you are makes a difference.  Story of teacher and blue ribbons.  Our road map:  See Jesus,  See Jesus run, Run like Jesus.  Matt 7 says, "Treat others the way you would have them treat you."  Story of Zacchaeus.  Col 1:27 - "God has willed to make known to them the glory beyond price which this mystery brings to the Gentiles - the mystery of Christ in you, the hope of glory."  Poem entitled "I Love You":  "I love you, not only for what you are - but for what I am when I am with you.  I love you, not only for what you have made of yourself - but for what you are making of me.  I love you, for the part of me that you bring out.  I love you, for putting your hand into my heaped-up heart and passing over all the foolish, weak things that you can't help dimly seeing there, and for drawing out into the light all the beautiful belongings that no one else had looked quite far enough to find.  I love you, because you are helping me to make of the lumber of my life, not a tavern, but a temple; out of works of my every day - not a reproach, but a song.  I love you."
