Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream September 22, 2021

Sep 23, 2021

At beginning of meeting - Romans 10:9 - "If you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."  Romans 10:15,17 - "How beautiful are the feet of those who announce good news.  Faith then comes from hearing, what is heard is the word of Christ."  Isaiah 55:11 - "So shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth; it shall not return to me void, but shall do my will, achieving the end for which I sent it."

Scripture Reading Lamentations 3:22-24 - "The favors of the Lord are not exhausted, his mercies are not spent; they are renewed each morning, so great is his faithfulness.  Our portion is the Lord, says my soul; therefore I will hope in him."

Scripture Reading Isaiah 32:15-20 - "Once more there will be poured on us the spirit from above; then shall the wilderness be fertile land and fertile land become forest.  In the wilderness justice will come to live and integrity in the fertile land; integrity will bring peace, justice give lasting security.  My people will live in a peaceful home, in safe houses, in quiet dwellings - the forest shall be beaten down and the city laid low.  Happy will you be, sowing by every stream, letting ox and donkey roam free."

Scripture Reading Psalm 92:1-4 - "It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to his name, O Most High, to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night, to the music of the lute and the harp, to the melody of the lyre.  For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your works; at the works of your hands I sing for joy."

Scripture Reading Psalm 27:1, In God's Company There is No Fear - "Yahweh is my light and my salvation, whom need I fear?  Yahweh is the fortress of my life, of whom should I be afraid?"

Scripture Reading Psalm 107:19-21 - "Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, he saved them out of their distress, he sent his word and healed them, and delivered them from destruction.  Let them give thanks to the Lord for his loving kindness, and his wonders to the sons of men."

Scripture Reading Sirach 4:16-19 - "Put your trust in Wisdom and you will possess her and pass her onto your descendants.  At first, Wisdom will lead you along difficult paths.  She will make you so afraid that you will think you cannot go on.  The discipline she demands will be tormenting, and she will put you to the test with her requirements until she trusts you completely.  Then she will come to you with no delay, reveal her secrets to you, and make you happy.  But if you go astray, she will abandon you and let you go to your own ruin."

Prophecy - "My little ones, know that I am with you.  Every moment of every day, I am with you.  Why then, did you look to the left, to the right?  Why look behind?  Look straight ahead.  Keep your eyes focused on me.  Otherwise, fear will be your guide.  Fear will make your decisions.  Trust me, my little ones, follow me, only me.  Listen only to my word, my instructions, my way.  Do not be afraid.  I am with you and I will never leave you, not even for a moment.  Stay on the straight and narrow path.  Do not follow after people, follow after me.  My little ones, the way of the cross is not easy, but I will give you all the graces you need.  Do not be afraid.  I go before you and prepare the way.  I am filling you with my Spirit.  Grace will be given to you as you need.  Trust me, my little ones, I hold you in the palm of my hand.  You are safe with me.  Be at peace.  Believe the word that you have heard, the word I have spoken through my prophets.  I am with you.  Together, we will get through these trials, these trying times.  I promise you, my little ones, you are safe with me.  Receive my blessings, receive my graces, receive my power, my authority, my kingship.  Receive all that I have for you and you will lack in nothing.  All that I have is yours.  Take, take and eat what I give you."

During praise and worship, I sensed such freedom in coming to the Lord because he accepts us so completely.  We can come to him like happy and joyful children come to a trusted parent.

Confirmation - I can confirm the first part of the prophecy.  God put it upon my heart today, we are not to fear.  "Be not afraid, be not afraid, be not afraid," just kept coming.

Teaching

The teaching entitled, "Spreading the Good News", was on St. Patrick who lived from 440 - 500.  For generations, paganism was the culture of Ireland until about the 5th century when something started to change.  Ireland began to become a fervent Christian nation.  Although there were some Christians here already, this spiritual revolution was spearheaded by one man, St. Patrick.  St. Patrick came from a fairly well-to-do family in Britain.  His father was a deacon and his grandfather was a priest.  There are many legends about Patrick but he does not mention any of them.  These are later legends.  One of his two writings is, "The Confession".  At the age of nearly 16 years, he was captured with others by people who came from Ireland on a raiding mission.  They were brought to Ireland and he entered slavery for 6 years.  He underwent a conversion experience in Ireland.  He wrote that he prayed to God a 100 times a day and a 100 times at night while herding sheep.  After 6 years, he got a chance to escape.  He was told that a ship was waiting for him.  There were a number of pagan sailors on the ship and they were not going to take him.  He went away and prayed to God.  They changed their mind.  He was happy to be back with his family in Britain.  However, he was called by the Holy Spirit to go back to Ireland as an evangelist.  He received a vision or a dream in the night in which a figure comes to him with letters in his hand.  These letters contained the voice of the Irish who were calling him to walk amongst them once more.  He interpreted this as a call from God.  His was a dangerous mission.  He encountered hostility, but through him, literally thousands of people were converted.  Hagiographers referred to Patrick's miracles.  St. Patrick was aware of his human weakness, and yet he was more aware of the grace of God working in his life.  He refers to himself as "a stone lying in deep mire until God came, lifted him out, raised him up and placed him at the top of the wall."  What was his message that converted so many?  He preached the love of the Father.  They were hearing that there's a God out there who really loves us.  They were hearing how inadequate we are and often how sinful we are.  They were hearing of the purpose of Jesus Christ and why he came and they were hearing of that living Holy Spirit within us.  If he was living today, his message would be of hope, love, joy, while at the same time, correcting in that context.  We are all sent to share the good news.  Some of us are called to be witnesses and some full time evangelists.  Let's bring that good news how we can, not how we can't and let's not be discouraged trying to do it.  The Gospel still changes people.  i.e. story of man who was going into New Age stuff, broke up with girlfriend, listened to Spirit Radio, liked the music, went on a retreat, had a conversion experience, worked at the radio station and then studied to be a Jesuit priest.

Praise Reports

Leslie J. - months ago we had prayed for Kathleen in England who had open heart surgery.  She is doing very well.  She is driving her car and has resumed her duties as a lay minister, bringing Holy Communion to the sick and shut-ins.  Thank you, Lord.

Leslie J. - On September 9, her brother had surgery on cancer of the prostate.  Recently, he saw his doctor and there is no sign of cancer and he did not have to undergo radiation.  Thank you, Jesus.

Leslie J. - We had prayed for her insomnia.  She is still getting her 3 hours of sleep but she does not have to take herbal tablets to fall asleep.  Thank you, Jesus.  A prayer was then led for Leslie for complete healing of her insomnia.

Martha wanted to thank God that her daughter in Toronto got a job.

Patt shared that she rested three times during the healing prayer last week and that she was stretching her back, like it was glued together and she couldn't stretch it hard enough.

Barb thanked everyone for their prayers.  Her husband, Derek is doing fantastic.  During that time, the Spirit was showing her the graces that you give a person when you pray for them.  Suddenly, she could feel this grace around her and literally pick her up and give her the strength to go on.

Donna - During the prayer last week, there was mention of soul healing, not just physical healing.  Three nights ago, Donna woke up in the middle of the night and she began to see really wonderful, positive things in her heritage, in her family line that she had never thought of before.  She was absolutely astonished that it had escaped her.  So, she spent the time thanking God for her heritage as he was revealing to her what was in her family line that was Godly, that was courageous and good.  She made the connection to the prayer that was prayed for soul healing because she believes that something happened in her soul life that night when she was awakened in the middle of the night.
