The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting. 1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said." 1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.
At beginning of meeting, Gospel Acclamation from today's Liturgy - "Your words, Lord, are Spirit and life, you have the words of everlasting life." Cf. Jn 6:63c, 68c.
Scripture Reading Sirach 5:1-7 - "Do not rely on your wealth, or say, "I have enough." Do not follow your inclination and strength in pursuing the desires of your heart. Do not say, "Who can have power over me?" for the Lord will surely punish you. Do not say, "I have sinned, yet what has happened to me?" for the Lord is slow to anger. Do not be so confident of forgiveness that you add sin to sin. Do not say, "His mercy is great, he will forgive the multitude of my sins," for both mercy and wrath are with him, and his anger will rest on sinners. Do not delay to turn back to the Lord, and do not postpone it from day to day; for suddenly the wrath of the Lord will come upon you, and at the time of punishment you will perish."
Scripture Reading Psalm 91:14-16 - "Whoever clings to me, I will deliver; whoever knows my name, I will set on high. All who call upon me, I will answer; I will be with them in distress; I will deliver them and give them honor. With length of days I will satisfy them and show them my saving power."
Scripture Reading Romans 12:2 - "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, so that you can prove what is the will of God - what is good and acceptable and perfect."
Prophecy - "Come, come, I've come to embrace you again. I've come to hold up your hearts in this festival of love which we all are here to enjoy. Come, I love you so much. I want to renew you. You renew my joy as you sing. Come, my beloved, come."
When we were singing, "Your name is power, your name is healing," I was reminded that ever since Saturday night, since Alive, I don't have that tiredness as I usually have. So, praise God.
Scripture Reading 1 Peter 4:12-14 - "Do not be surprised, beloved, that a trial by fire is occurring in your midst. It is a test for you but it should not catch you off guard. Rejoice instead in the measure that you share Christ's sufferings. When his glory is revealed you will rejoice exultantly. Happy are you when you are insulted for the sake of Christ, for then God's Spirit in its glory has come to rest on you."
Prophecy - "My children, fear is an evil thing. Cast it away in my name. Do not allow fear to control you. Do not let Satan feel that he has won against you. I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. I will see you to victory. Your life is in my hands. Cast Satan out and replace every empty space with my love. Believe in me. I know what is best."
Prophecy, a word received this morning - "Do not sorrow but rejoice for I have won the victory over every soul and as you pray I am at work. You may not see it, but I am at work. Do not despair but trust."
Prophetic Sense - We're not to judge people who are different than us. That is not our job. Our job is to love them, to pray for them. The only way that they are going to change is through our love. Be Jesus to them.
Words of Knowledge & Prophecy - The Lord wants to give the gift of prophecy to some of the members. The Lord needs more members to pray for this ministry. "Rejoice in the Lord always."
Prophecy - My little ones, I have prepared you for this time. I've called you each by name. I have chosen each one of you for a specific work in my kingdom. I am bringing you into a new dimension of this work that I've called you to. I ask you to be open, to be ready. Do not doubt, do not fear. I have prepared you myself. When I open the door, my little ones, do not hesitate. Walk in, walk in because many, many souls are dependent on you. Yes, on each one of you. You are all called to be my apostles. I need you to speak my word without fear, without anxiety. I need you to speak my truth. The world has become very evil and my people need to speak out. Yes, it cost many, many of my disciples to be martyred. They have suffered for my sake. You must speak the truth. Do not be afraid. If you don't, who will? You're to polite. You're too accepting. When you see wrong, speak out. They must hear the truth."
Prophecy/Confirmation - I'd like to confirm the last prophecy, to begin with. "My children, I am calling you into a new direction, a new direction that has not been taken before and I do need you, my children, to be open to it. There are many that are hungry for healing, many that are hungry for love, acceptance, and many who do not know their identity. It will be you, my children, that will bring them the graces that is needed to lead them to salvation, to lead them to truth and freedom. It is you, my children, that I am calling, and it is you, my children, that I need for you to be open to my healing within you because it is only when you are healed that you can become greater instruments of my Holy Spirit, of my healing love and mercy towards those who I call into your life. I wish to rebuild my church. I wish to reignite fire in your community. And, my children, I will not leave you alone nor abandon. I will lead and guide each one of you in the direction I am calling you to. And when you submit to my will, you will see the power of my Holy Spirit magnify itself and empower you to be that instrument of my healing love and mercy to my people."
"Receive Inner Healing" with Fr. DeGrandis. Fr. led us in a Forgiveness Prayer. Romans 12:14 - "Bless those who persecute you. Bless and do not condemn." Biblical forgiveness means that you pray for the person for the blessings that you want for yourself: happiness, holiness, healing, helpfulness. Fr. led a prayer for forgiving God and his representatives. Many people would say you cannot forgive God. Everything he does is perfect. And that's true. But our perception can engender a lot of anger within us. So, yes, sometimes we need to forgive God insofar as it cleanses the blockage within us. Fr. led a prayer of healing for the one event in our family life that hurt us. Sometimes, there can be misperceptions, misunderstandings in our family life. Prayer was said for healing - the person who has hurt us the most, such as verbal abuse, physical and sexual abuse.
