Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream May 13, 2026

May 15, 2026

The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting.  1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said."  1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.

Scripture Reading at beginning of meeting, John 16:13-14 - When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth for he will not speak on his own, but will speak whatever he hears, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.  He will glorify me, because he will take what is mine and declare it to you.

Scripture Reading Hebrews 4:14-16 - Since, then, we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast to our profession of faith.  For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weakness, but one who was tempted in every way that we are, yet never sinned.  So let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and favor and to find help in time of need.

Prophetic word taken from a book, "Jesus Calling", followed by Scripture passages - "I am a mighty God.  Nothing is too difficult for me.  I have chosen weak ones like you to accomplish my purposes.  You weakness is designed to open you up to my power.  Therefore, do not fear your limitations or measures that they demand against your strength.  What I require of you is to stay connected to me, willing and trusting dependance on my limitless resources.  When you face unexpected demands, there is no need to panic.  Remember, that I am with you.  Talk with me and listen while I talk with you through each challenging situation.  I am not a careless God.  When I allow difficulties to come into your life, I equip you fully to handle them.  Relax in my presence trusting in my strength."                                                       Luke 1:37 - For nothing is impossible with God.  Thess 31:8 - The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you.  He will never leave you nor forsake you.  Do not be afraid.  Do not be discouraged.  2 Cor 12:9 - But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you for my power is made perfect in weakness.  Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses so that Christ's power may rest on me.

Scripture Reading Psalm 4:1 - Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.

Scripture Reading, "Let Go and Let God" - Proverbs 3:5 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.

SORRY - I was unable to hear some of the prophetic words/Scripture readings because of technical difficulties on our end.

Teaching

Dr. Brooks spoke on The Surge of Catholic Conversions.  This is especially among young people (14-29 years old), and especially young men.  There is a sense of meaningless and people are starting to fight back.  They want real life.  The young are craving for something bigger and bigger.

Catholicism - Yes, it is old and it's still around.  This is what gives me meaning.  Do you want to try it?

We need digital detox.  We need moments of peace, blank moments.  The brain benefits from prayer.

Live your life and live it right.  Do our vocation, whatever it is, with excellence.

Don't waste your suffering:  redemptive suffering.  Suffering is your teacher.  Suffering is redemptive.  Don't resist.  Lord, your will.  People are watching us.  How do we handle it?

In evangelization, try to leave bread crumbs.  For some people it's too soon.  Crack the door open and let the Holy Spirit kick it in.  Am I influencing people?
