Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream March 25, 2026

Mar 26, 2026

The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting.  1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said."  1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.

At beginning of meeting, Scripture Reading Hebrews 10:5-7 - Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired, but a body you have prepared for me; in burnt offerings and sin offerings you have taken no pleasure.  Then I said, "As it is written of me in the scroll of the book, see, God, I have come to do your will, O God."

Scripture Reading Wisdom 16:15-19 - To escape from your hand is impossible; for the ungodly, refusing to know you, were flogged by the strength of your arm, pursued by unusual rains and hail and relentless storms, and utterly consumed by fire.  For - most incredible of all - in water, which quenches all things, the fire had still greater effect, for the universe defends the righteous.  At one time the flame was restrained, so that it might not consume the creatures sent against the ungodly, but that seeing this they might know that they were being pursued by the judgment of God; and at another time even in the midst of water it burned more intensely than fire, to destroy the crops of the unrighteous land.

Scripture Reading 2 Cor 12:9 - but he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."  Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Scripture Reading 1 Cor 6:2 - Do you not know that the believers will judge the world?  If the judgments of the world is to be yours, are you to be thought unworthy of judging in minor matters?

Scripture Reading Psalm 89:15-17 - How blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! O Lord, they walk in the light of your countenance.  In your name they rejoice all the day, and by your righteousness they are exalted.  For you are the glory of their strength.

God is ever persistent and will not let the non-righteous go without a battle.  He never gives up.  Believe in his power to save.

Teaching

Fr. John Iacono spoke about his journey to becoming a priest.  A link to the video was sent to all participants.

Mother consecrated Fr. John to God while he was in her womb.  He did not know this until he became a priest.  Never underestimate the power of the prayers of a mother.

Father disowned him for 7 years; did not want him to become a priest.  God allowed a beautiful reconciliation just before the father died.

For three years Fr. John was told he should leave the seminary because of his difficulties with the courses.  He said, "The Holy Spirit and I are staying."  Endure all trials with perseverance.  Nothing is impossible with God.
