Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream January 11, 2023

Jan 12, 2023

The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting.  1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said."  1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.

Jesus always will be there for us.

Scripture Reading Romans 8:35-39 - "Nothing therefore can come between us and the love of Christ, even if we are troubled or worried, or being persecuted, or lacking food or clothes, or being threatened or even attacked.  As scripture promised: For your sake we are being massacred daily, and reckoned as sheep for the slaughter.  These are the trials through which we triumph, by the power of him who loved us.  For I am certain of this:  neither death nor life, no angel, no prince, nothing that exists, nothing still to come, not any power, or height or depth, nor any created thing, can ever come between us and the love of God made visible in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Scripture Reading Isaiah 34:1-2 - "Come near, nations, and hear; be attentive, O people!  Let the earth and what fills it listen, the world and all it produces.  The Lord is angry with all the nations, and is wrathful with all their host; he has doomed them and given them over to slaughter."

Scripture Reading Psalm 33:13-14, 18-22 - "The Lord looks from heaven; he sees all the sons of men; from his dwelling place he looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth.  Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope for his loving kindness, to deliver their soul from death and to keep them alive in famine.  Our soul waits for the Lord; he is our help and our shield.  For our heart rejoices in him, because we trust in his holy name.  Let your loving kindness, O Lord, be upon us, according as we have hoped in you."

Prophecy/Confirmation - "The time is coming when all people will reach out to me for direction, dependency and forgiveness.  Keep watch day and night, my people.  My day is coming near."

Prophecy - "I am lifting your burdens up today, my children.  Give them to me.  Stop hanging on to them.  Trust me with everything that burdens you.  I love you, my children."

Scripture Reading Psalm 46:7 - "The Lord of hosts is about; the God of Jacob is our stronghold.  Come, behold the work of the Lord who has brought desolation on the earth.  He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; he breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two, he burns the chariots with fire.  'Keep striving and know that I am God.  I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!'  The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our stronghold."

Prophecy - "My little ones, know that I am with you always.  I'm asking you, my little ones, to examine your hearts.  Am I really the stronghold of your heart?  Am I the desire of your heart?  Is there anything that comes before me?  If there is and you know what it is, my little ones, give it to me.  Let me fill you to overflowing.  Let me use you in every area of your life.  Let everything you have lived be for my glory.  Use everything to share with everyone around you what I have done for you.  I have brought many of you out of the darkness.  I have brought you into my light.  Let your light shine like never before.  In this new year, may you bring nothing but me in it.  Present me to everyone you meet.  Let them who are in darkness today, let them see your light, that they may have hope, that they may turn to me because they see me in you.  I have prepared you, I have chosen you.  You are ready, you are ready to represent me in the world.  Go where I send you.  Do what I ask of you.  Say what I put on your lips.  Do not let fear or doubt enter your mind.  Trust me, trust me; I am the one who will speak through you.  Believe it.  This is why I have called you.  This is why I have chosen you, to be my mouthpiece, to be a light in the world, to bring hope.  Let me use you, my people.  Do not resist the call of the Spirit.  Follow. I love you with a never ending love.  You are mine.  I in you and you in me, we are one and forever will be."

Teaching

David spoke on "Love is....."  David started his talk by asking us to give our one phrase or sentence definition of what love is.  Jimmy Wayne had a tough relationship with his father, ended up in the foster care system, spent many years dealing with the rejection that he experienced.  Jimmy Wayne wrote the song, "I Love You This Much".  This song was his personal breakthrough in his journey.  All ten commandments are about love (Catechism #2067).  Following Jesus' model: love is bold, love is adventurous, love is passionate.  Passionate:  the way God showed his love for us.  He spared nothing for us.  Love is willing the good of the other for the good of the other.  Where can we enhance our love for others?  Love is a commandment (John 13).  First thing in the Catechism - "The life of man is to know and love God.  This is our highest calling to seek, know and love God with all our strength."  This is our calling.  This is our purpose.  God is truth and love.  It is his very being.  God in relationship, a relationship of love:  Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  It's an eternal exchange of love to which God invites us.  It's our highest calling.  Married love:  totality, each giving 100%.  Family is crowning glory.  Jesus' summary of man's duty to God:  You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind.  Our calling:  total surrender.  God longs for us to feel his love and bring his love to us back to him.  That is the eternal relationship that we're invited to.
