The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting. 1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said." 1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.
At beginning of meeting, Psalm 150 - "Praise the Lord in his sanctuary, praise him in the firmament of his strength. Praise him for his mighty deeds, praise him for his sovereign majesty. Praise him with the blast of the trumpet, praise him with lyre and harp. Praise him with timbrel and dance, praise him with strings and pipe. Praise him with sounding cymbals, praise him with clanging cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Alleluia."
Word of Knowledge/Prophecy - I believe I got a Word of Knowledge. When we were singing, "The God of the good times is still the God of the bad times, I heard from the Lord and he said, "My children, my grace is sufficient for you. Yes, in the good times I pour out my grace and in the bad times I pour out my grace. Do not doubt but believe in my power and my might." And when I heard those words, I saw the little face of my little great-niece that we've been praying for. She's two months old and in ICU. I'm going to claim this song. I'm going to claim this prophecy for her. We all believe that God is a God of healing power.
Scripture Reading 1 Thess 5:3-8 - "When people are saying, "Peace and security," then suddenly disaster comes upon them, like labour pains upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers, are not in darkness, for that day to overtake you like a thief; for all of you are children of the light and children of the day; we are not of the night or of darkness. Therefore, let us not sleep as the rest do. Let us stay alert and sober. Those who sleep go to sleep at night and those who are drunk get drunk at night. But since you are of the day, let us be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and a helmet that is hope for salvation."
Scripture Reading Matt 28:20 - "I am with you always, even to the end of the age." And Hebrews 13:5 - "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
Scripture Reading Romans 8:38-39 - "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor present things nor future things, nor powers, nor height nor depth nor any other creature, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus, our Lord."
I was reminded of something I read recently where most of the hymns that we sing in praise and worship is, "Holy Spirit , come. Holy Spirit, welcome." Those are generally the words. But they were saying, in previous years, the emphasis had been at one time on "Holy Spirit, arise in me," because we're all baptized in the Holy Spirit. We're the vessels of clay. We hold him inside us. So, when I read that and I thought, "Arise in me," it made me feel at least more prayerful. I don't have to pray for him to come. I want him to arise.
Word of Knowledge - I felt that there was a lot of unforgiveness and resentment and judgment that we, the people, need to lift up in order for all of us to have our prayers answered. And I felt this heaviness. And the Lord was saying that it's hard for us to receive the blessing that he has for us tonight unless each and every one of us search our hearts and lift up any resentment, unforgiveness or judgment of others.
Prophecy - "My children, do not look for me in ways that you think that I will come. I will come to you in ways that you never have seen before. I'm asking you only to stay open-minded and listen with your heart. Do not allow your mind to wander this way or that way. Listen to your heart. That is where I am going to speak to you. Look to me only, not in the ways that you are used to, that you think is right. Ask me before you even take a step. Let me guide you and lead you in the direction I have chosen for you. Be consistent in your prayers and worship and you will learn how to listen to my voice."
Confirmation of what was just said about searching our hearts and forgiveness. I've had a very unusual day of just exactly that; very obscure little judgements, the things that I probably never would have thought of in a million years coming to you in the prayer time, was sort of a theme for today.
Fr. Jim Blount spoke on "Things Happen for a Reason." God is in charge of everything. Every person should hear the voice of the Holy Spirit. Ask him for that grace. You become a saint when you carry the cross with a smile. One story that Fr. Jim shared was how God used a flat tire to stop a woman from committing suicide and bringing her back to God. Her soul was saved. Another story was when he felt that the Lord was calling him to visit a friend very late at night. Another suicide thwarted by the Lord; another soul was saved. George Washington prayed for divine intervention when he was fighting the British during the winter of 1777-1778. The Blessed Mother appeared to him and at the end of that vision, he saw campfires on a map that was before him; campfires lighting up the country from East to West. It was prophetic. He looked closer and he realized that those campfires were small groups of Christians with their hands raised in the air pleading with God to save the country. And when enough camp fires were lit, suddenly an army of millions of angels came down over this country and pushed all those three armies back across the Atlantic, back to their own places. And Mother Mary said that this country would win that final battle and would remain in tranquility to the end of time.
Margaret said that little baby Roman's condition has stabilized and he would not have emergency heart surgery until he's older. Thank you for your prayers and Thank you, Lord.
Maria K had Covid. They told her that she would probably test positive for at least ten days after. That did not happen. Praise God, this morning it was negative.
