The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting. 1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said." 1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.
Scripture Reading Psalm 66 - Shout joyfully to God, all you on earth. Sing praise to the glory of his name; proclaim his glorious praise. Say to God, "How tremendous are your deeds! For your great strength your enemies fawn upon you. Let all on earth worship and sing praise to you, sing praise to your name!"
Scripture Reading Matthew 11:28-30 - "Come to me, all you who are weary and heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Scripture Reading Proverbs 28:13-16 - He who conceals his sins prospers not, but he who confesses and forsakes them obtains mercy. Happy the man who is always on his guard; but he who hardens his heart will fall into evil. Like a roaring lion or a ravenous bear is a wicked ruler over a poor people. The less prudent the prince, the more his deeds oppress. He who hates ill-gotten gain prolongs his days.
Scripture Reading Psalm 92:1-4 - How good it is to give thanks to you, O Lord, to sing in your honor, O Most High God, to proclaim your constant love every morning and your faithfulness every night, with the music of stringed instruments and with melody on the harp. Your mighty deeds, O Lord, make me glad; because of what you have done, I sing for joy.
Prophetic Sense - I got a reading but I don't know where it is in the bible. It talks about the lepers who were cured but only one went back to give him thanks. This reading just kept coming back. The Lord is saying don't forget to give thanks to the Lord, whether it's in song, whether it's spending time with him, whether it's in reading the Word. We need to give him thanks for even the smallest little miracles that happen in our lives.
Richard - That word is a hint for me. I want to give thanks to the Lord, and thanks for all your prayers. I do not have a lump on my neck anymore. It went totally away.
Scripture Reading Psalm 42:1-2 - As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; where can I go and meet with God?
Prayer - Come Holy Spirit, I want to meet with God. Please teach me how to pray. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Prophecy - "Come to me. I want to embrace you. I want to love you to the tips of your soul, have you become more aware of me in your lives. I'm always walking ahead of you, looking out for the pitfalls and the enemy that would come against you. I have my angels in front of you, behind you. They're all around you to protect you. I love you all, my dear children, love you and I want to protect you. So always remember I'm always very close to you. I'm always looking forward behind. So thank me because of my closeness, because I do love you all, my dear, dear children."
Scripture Reading Sirach 2:1-6 - When you come to serve the Lord, prepare yourself for trials. Be sincere of heart and steadfast, undisturbed in time of adversity. Cling to him, forsake him not; thus will your future be great. Accept whatever befalls you, in crushing misfortune be patient; for in fire gold is tested, and worthy men in the crucible of humiliation. Trust God and he will help you; make straight your ways and hope in him.
"Thank the Lord in all things, the good and the bad for I see what you don't see. I form and shape and accomplish my glory for all to see."
A number of months ago, Marilyn had a prophetic vision for David. She saw him speaking to a large group of Christians. David shared on how God fulfilled that word.
Numbers 11:29 - "Would that all of the people of the Lord were prophets." God is encouraging us to use our gifts. We might think, "Maybe others, but not me." Psalm 19:8 - "The decree of the Lord is trustworthy, giving wisdom to the simple." God is saying, "I'll give the wisdom. I'll give the insight. You just show up and and do what I encourage you to do.
David was invited to speak at Liberty University. Their motto is Training Champions for Christ. They are incredibly Spirit-filled.
Mark 9:41 - "If anyone gives you a cup of water to drink because you belong to Christ, Amen I say to you, that person will surely not lose his or her reward." There were students who took the time to just keep an eye on those us who were there and just to say, "Do you need some water? Anything I can do for you?" They were there to serve the 700 CEO's at the CEO Summit.
Over the course of 3 days, David was able to talk to and mentor roughly 200 students. He was also on a panel of speakers and was privileged to speak to the CEO's about AI. David encouraged Christians to be engaged in the market place. Jim Bridenstine who was also on the panel ran Nasa 2018 - 2021. He loves the Lord and said that science points to God more and more.
There are 16,000 student on campus. There are 160,000 students globally that attend Liberty because they have online programs. On Wednesday mornings 10,000 students gather in their arena and worship the Lord. It was incredible to see this. It's required of the students to attend this. On Wednesday evenings, optionally the students can go. 8,000 do. On Friday morning, they do it again.
David was also on a panel at the closing dinner. The three that were on the panel shared what it means to live out your faith in the workplace. God gave them an opportunity to witness to him.
David encouraged us to think about where we are called. We are absolutely called to pray and to tell people about Jesus and to help them know God.
CORRECTION: The program, Horizons of Hope, that Joe and Joan spoke about comes from the Archdiocese of Ottawa-Cornwall.
Vision/Prophecy - As we were all praying, as we were all in agreement with each other with everybody's prayer, in vision there was this humongous rainbow over all of us. It's a sign of new growth, new life and the promises for tomorrow. I've never seen this before. It's a promise from God that he is with me through all our prayers. I feel warm all over. God is working in our lives. He is working and listening to all our prayers.
