Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream April 23, 2025

Apr 24, 2025

The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting.  1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said."  1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.

Prophecy - "Yes, keep calling my name, keep calling my name.  Keep calling the name of my  Father.  Keep calling my name.  Any time that you feel afraid, any time you're lonely, any time you're happy, any time you're sad, call my name and I'll be there."

Scripture Reading Isaiah 60:1-3 - Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.  For darkness shall cover the earth and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you and his glory will appear over you.  Nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.

Prophecy - "You will have trials but I am with you."

Scripture Reading Joel 2:15-17 - Blow the trumpet in Zion; sanctify a fast; call a solemn assembly; gather the people.  Sanctify the congregation; assemble the aged; gather the children, even infants at the breast.  Let the bridegroom leave his room, and the bride her canopy.  Between the vestibule and the altar let the priests, the ministers of the Lord weep.  Let them say, "Spare your people, O Lord, and do not make your heritage a mockery, a byword among the nations.  Why should it be said among the peoples, 'Where is their God?'"

Prophecy - "My children, I'm about to do a new thing among you.  I'm about to reveal my glory to you.  But in order for this to happen, I need you, my children, to come before me in the Holy Eucharist and as many times as you can possibly come.  I need for you to believe in me in the Holy Eucharist, that I am there, that I am present and that I want to heal you through the Holy Eucharist.  Again, I'm about to do a new thing among my people.  I'm about to reveal my glory in and through the Holy Eucharist.  Stay alert and watch and know that my Holy Spirit is roaming among my people, opening up darkened hearts, opening up wounded spirits, opening up those hearts that have no control over life.  I'm about to bring much, much healing and restoration to my people and to my church.  And you, my people, are going to be my intercessors, and you, my people, are going to be the ones I am calling to lead and guide and minister to my people.  Stay alert, be awake, for the time is coming.

Scripture Reading Proverbs 3:5-6 - Life can be so unpredictable.  As we face obstacles and challenges in life, we can ask God for help and direction.  "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways, acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."

Prophecy - "You will indeed go through many trials, my little ones.  I am coming and I will do a new thing.  And I have chosen each one of you for these times.  The enemy will be powerful.  Soon, soon, he will do his utmost to lead my people astray.  I need you more than ever, my little ones, to speak my word without fear.  And believe me, I am in you and you are in me.  My little ones, speak my word.  Do not be afraid; whether they accept it or reject it, speak my word.  It is needed more than ever.  Many, many will believe and many will not, but speak my word.  Be like my apostles, and give what I give you."

Teaching

Fr. Mark Goring spoke on "Seven Principles of Spiritual Warfare".

1.  We need to remember who we are.  When the enemy attacked our first parents, Adam and Eve, the first thing he went after was their identity.  Genesis 1:27 - God created man in his image and in the divine image he created them, male and female.  Genesis 3:5 - The devil says, "No, God knows well that the moment you eat of it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God."  What Adam should have said to the devil, "I know who I am.  I'm already like God.  I'm made in his image and his likeness."  But Adam and Eve fell to the deception of the enemy, thinking that the devil could give them something that was good.  The devil can't give us anything good.  He'll offer us freedom, peace, life.  He can't give us any of these things.  They are not his to give.  He's a deceiver, a liar.

Matthew 16:18 - Jesus says, "And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it."  When Jesus builds something, he builds it to last forever.  To persecute the church is to persecute Jesus.  Jesus said to Saul, "Why are you persecuting me?"  Jesus wants us to be part of that church that he built. To be part of the church is to be part of the Body of Christ, the Mystical Body of Christ.  We need to recognize how great a treasure our Catholic faith is.

2.  Remember that we are at war.  The enemy wants to destroy us.  John 10:10 - "The thief comes only to steal and slaughter and destroy.  I came that you may have life and have it more abundantly."  1 Peter 5:8 - Be sober and vigilant.  Your opponent the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour."  Ephesians 6:11 - "Put on the armor of God, so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil.  For our struggle is not with flesh and blood, but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens.  Therefore put on the armor of God that you may be able to resist on the evil day, having done everything to hold your ground."

3.  Know the tactics of our enemy.  Two main tactics of the enemy:  a) Rev. 12:10 - "The accuser of our brothers is cast out who accuses them before our God day and night."  He's an accuser.  Day and night, he says to us, "You're no good.  I know you're a weak person.  You can't be forgiven, etc., etc.  If we don't realize it's the enemy, we will allow those thoughts into our minds and they will hold us captive.  Jesus said that the truth will set you free.  The enemy does not speak truth to us. b) John 8:44 - "He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in truth because there is no truth in him.  When he tells a lie, he speaks in character because he is a liar and the father of lies."  The enemy speaks lies to us or he twists the truth.  He'll tell us, "Look at the things you've done.  How could the Father be pleased with you?"  2 Cor 10:5 - Paul tells us, "Take every thought captive in obedience to Christ."  The problem is in our thoughts.  Is our mind filled with truth or with lies?  Romans 12:2 - Paul says, "Be transformed by the renewal of your mind."

4.  In spiritual battle, you always have to keep your peace.  Col 3:15 - Paul says, "And let the peace of Christ control your heart."  If you fall, you get up and you don't lose your peace.  You keep going.  St. Faustina never lost her peace when she was attacked.  One time, the evil spirits appeared as a pack of dogs which said, "We're going to tear you apart."  She said to them, "If that's God's will, that's O.K."  They were furious and took off.

5.  Know your weaknesses.  When an enemy attacks us, he looks for our weakest line of defence which is our fallen passion.  The seven deadly sins:  anger, gluttony, greed, pride, laziness, lust and envy.  Romans 8:6 & 13 - St. Paul says, "The concern of the flesh is death but the concern of the Spirit is life and peace.  If you live according to the flesh, you will die.  But if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live."  The flesh is the interior whiny child.

6.  We need to have a Holy Spirit inspired specific strategy.  You need to think, to plan, to organize.  Luke 14:28 - Jesus says, "Which of you wishing to construct a tower does not first sit down, calculate the cost and see if there is enough for its completion?  Otherwise, after laying down the foundation and finding himself unable to finish the work, the onlookers should laugh at him."  The Lord gave us a gift of an intellect.  When we pray to the Spirit and use our intellect, the Lord will give us strategy to overcome our weaknesses.

7.  Remember. Solomon fell from such a great height because he forgot his first love. 1 Kings 11:4 -  "When Solomon was old, his wives had turned his heart to strange gods and his heart was not entirely with the Lord his God, as the heart of his father, David, had been."  Deut 6:6 - The Lord says, "Hear, O Israel!  the Lord is our God, the Lord alone!  Therefore you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength.  Take to heart these words which I enjoin on you today.  Drill them into your children.  Speak of them at home and abroad whether you are busy or at rest.  Bind them on your wrist as a sign and let them be as a pendant on your forehead."  Don't forget the Lord.  To forget is to die.
