Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings June 26

At opening of prayer meeting Psalm 68:32-35 – “You kingdoms of the earth, sing to God; chant praise to the Lord, who rides on the heights of the ancient heavens.  Behold, his voice resounds, the voice of power!  Confess the power of God.  Over Israel is his majesty, his power is in the skies.  Awesome in his sanctuary is God, the God of Israel.  He gives power and strength to his people.  Blessed be God!”

Scripture Reading Eph 4:25-32 – Rules for New Life – “Putting away falsehoods, speak truth each to his neighbor.  Be angry but do not sin;  do not let the sun set on your anger.  Do not leave room for the devil.  No longer steal but labor doing honest work with your own hands, so that you would have something to share with someone in need.  No foul language should come out of your mouth, but only such that is good for edification, that it may impart grace to those who hear it.  Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with which you were sealed for the day of redemption.  All bitterness, fury, anger, shouting and reviling must be removed from you, with all malice.  Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another as God has forgiven you in Christ.”

Scripture Reading Isaiah 42:1-4 – “Here is my servant whom I strengthen, the one I have chosen, with whom I am pleased.  I have filled him with my Spirit and he will bring justice to every nation.  He will not shout or raise his voice or make loud speeches in the streets.  He will not break off a bent reed or put out the flickering lamp; he will bring lasting justice to all.  He will not lose hope or courage.  He will establish justice on the earth.  Distant lands eagerly wait for his teaching.”

Prophecy:  “Come, my children, come.  I’ve come to embrace you.  I’ve come to love you.  I’ve come to give you even more wisdom of myself.  I’ve come knowing your needs, knowing your wants.  I’ve come listening to you.  Come now, open your hearts.  I am waiting to hear your prayers.  I am waiting to respond.  I am waiting because you’re all so dear to me, you’re all so loving to me.  Thank you, my children.”

Prophecy:  “You are my people.  You are my little ones.  You are my children.  You are my beloved.  I love you with an everlasting love.  If only you understood how much I love you; if only you understood how much I care for those that you love; if only you understood how gladly I died for each and every one of you.  I hear your doubts; I hear your pain; I hear your words and I hear your needs.  My little ones, I love you with an everlasting love.”

Prophecy:  “My children, tonight you were singing I am worthy of the glory.  Yes, I am worthy; honor and glory belongs to me and I am glad that you were singing it.  Have this in your heart always to give me honor and glory because I am worthy of it.  So, keep on praying, keep on singing and keep on glorifying me.”

Word of knowledge:  “I was to tell the young adults that He is pleased that you are here at the prayer meeting.”

Teaching

Discipleship series on video – Fr. Bob Bedard on “Wisdom”.  Wisdom is God’s NOW word.  Common sense is a gift from God.  Wisdom is “Ask me everything.”

Discernment:  Believe that God want to speak.  Repent.  Want to know.  Ask.  Abandonment – no strings attached, trust God.  Committed relationships – God’s word best heard in context of relationships (in a group) – no lone rangers.  Waiting.  Test – Give it a shot, try it – You can make a mistake – Don’t take yourself seriously – Look in your heart – Where am I most peaceful?
