Scripture Reading Psalm 105:1-4 - "O give thanks to the Lord and open your hearts to love.  Awaken, listen in silence for the voice of the counselor.  Sing praise with a glad heart and give witness to the truth with your lives.  Glory in the radiance of the Lord.  Let the hearts of those who call upon you rejoice.  Speak to the one who is life, your strength.  Walk harmoniously in love's presence."

Scripture Reading John 14:13-17 - "Whatever you ask in my name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.  If you love me, you will keep commandments.  I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, so that he may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see him or know him; but you know him because he abides with you and will be in you."

Jesus is always with us.

Scripture Reading Ephesians 1:7-8 - "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that he has lavished on us, with all wisdom and understanding"

Teaching

The presentation on "God Wink" was given by Patt.   God Wink: 1) A coincidence has happened.  2)  It's come at an important time in your life.  3) It's to reassure you.  It's comforting.  You're on the right track.  It's personal.  God winks are telling you that God is with you and things are going according to God's plan.  They're not random happenings.  You are a child of God in his universe and he's looking out for you.  So, start looking for a confirming sign in the future, a God wink, that you are on the right path.  Take notice and take comfort.

Sharing

Scripture Reading - "He sent his Word, Jesus, and healed them and saved them from their distress."  Psalm 107 & Jeremiah 30.

Praise Reports

Maria's test results regarding her oesophagus came back.  It's fixable.  It's acid reflux.  She thanks God that it's nothing worse.

Joan shared that last Wednesday she asked for prayers for her sister-in-law's husband who suffered second and third degree burns to his face and his head, was in intensive care.  Today, she got news that the breathing tube has been removed.  The fever has disappeared.  The infection is subsiding and he's improving in health.  Yes, he has a long journey ahead of him but he's over the worst.  She praises and thanks the Lord for that.
