Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream March 24, 2021

Mar 25, 2021

Prophecy/Word of Knowledge - Starting with the second song, I started feeling this anointing coming over us.  My whole body became very, very hot.  My hands were on fire and I felt that that anointing was going on every one and I heard the Lord say, "I'm bringing my healing tonight, a tremendous healing.  There will be no doubt that I, your God, am in your midst."  And then, I got the word of knowledge that people were being healed of arthritis and headaches and fear.

Confirmation -I'd like to confirm that prophecy and word of knowledge.  Yes, the Lord is definitely doing a lot of healing tonight and his anointing is very powerful.

Confirmation/Prophecy - I'd also like to confirm the prophecy. When we were singing How Great Is Our God, I felt the Lord saying, "My children, your praises please me and give me great joy.  Thank you for your faithfulness, your love and your devotion.  You are not here tonight by accident.  I have called you to be near to my heart, to be near my presence.  Receive from me all I have for you all."  I, also, believe the Lord is healing people of all various illnesses tonight.

Confirmation - I, also, confirm that.  I have received across my forehead twice a sense of (worthiness?), a sense of anointing.  So, someone, it might be something in their mind, might be headaches.

Prophecy - "My children, the anointing I'm giving you tonight is an anointing of peace.  There are many who are in agony, agony in pain, physical, mental pain, spiritual pain.  There are many that are in agony with loneliness, with abandonment, isolation of all form.  Tonight, my healing is spreading throughout the whole world, not just upon you, my children.  My mercy is there with you in the midst of this pandemic.  My children, know that I am with you and I have not abandoned you.  You are my precious, chosen ones."

Scripture Reading Isaiah 51:4-6 - "Listen to me,my people, and give heed to me, my nation; for a teaching will go out from me, and my justice for a light to the peoples.  I will bring near my deliverance swiftly, my salvation has gone out and my arms will rule the peoples; the coastlands wait for me, and for my arm they hope.  Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look at the earth beneath; for the heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment, and those who live on it will die like gnats; but my salvation will be forever, and my deliverance will never be ended."

Scripture Reading Titus 3:4-8 - "In the kindness and generous love of God, our Saviour appeared, not because of any righteous deeds we had done, because of his great mercy.  He saved us through the bath of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he richly poured on us through Jesus Christ, our Saviour, so that we might be justified by his grace and become heirs in hope of eternal life."

Teaching

Jenny Baker spoke on "Unwrapping the Gift".  The word "sin" has an "I" in the middle of it.  Sin is all about me, myself and I; what I want over what everybody else might want.  What sin does is puff us up and shrink God down.  We become the centre of our lives.  A very peaceful and gentle prayer for the baptism changed Jenny's life.  It changed something very deep down within her.  For her, it was the realization of her baptism and confirmation.  It was as if God had given her a gift and she'd taken that gift and put it into a cupboard, and then she closed the cupboard door.  And years later, she opened that cupboard door, took out the gift and she started to unwrap it.  And she's still unwrapping it because there's always, always more.

How do we prepare to unwrap the gift.

1.  Be honest.  Admit things need changing in our lives.      Romans 8 - "There is no condemnation in Christ."  The Holy Spirit convicts us, he never condemns us.  Pope Francis said, "Sometimes, we are hard of heart and mind."  We need a heart check up now and then.

2.  Make a decision to turn away from the things that we do wrong on a day to day basis.  We have to use our key to our hearts (repentance), then God can use his key to open us up and clean us up.

3.  Ask for God's help.  God would like us to stop struggling and trying to do it on our own.  He could then give us the help.

4.  Say the words, "I'm sorry."  Story of the Prodigal Son.  We have the gift of the sacrament of reconciliation.

Obstacles to asking for this new life:

We may think, "I haven't got enough faith."   Jesus said all we need is faith the size of a mustard seed which is a tiny, tiny seed.  All we have to do is give him the tiniest faith we have and he can take that and multiply that.

We may think, "I'm fearful.  What is God going to do to me?  What about all those gifts, like tongues?"  Tongues: i.e. talking to babies.  Heart speaking to heart.  Love speaking to Love.  God gives good gifts to his children.

We may doubt.  God wouldn't make those promises to me.  Jesus told us in Luke's Gospel, "Ask and it will be given to you.  Seek and you will find.  Knock and the door will be opened."   This gift is given based on the love of God.
