Scripture Reading at beginning of meeting Psalm 23:1-3 - "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.  In verdant pastures he gives me repose; beside restful waters he leads me; he refreshes my soul."

Scripture Reading Psalm 67:1-4 - "God be gracious to us and bless us; and call his face to shine upon us that your way may be known on the earth, your salvation among all nations.  Let the people praise you, O God; let all the people praise you!"

Prophecy - "Yes, I am your shepherd.  I desire that you want for nothing.  You are my children.  I desire to bless you with all that you need.   You are so impatient.  If I don't give you what you ask for immediately, it's because I'm doing a work in you first.  Continue thanking me for what you are asking for until you see the manifestation of what I have for you.  Continue to bless me, my children.  Continue to praise me, my children.  Do not give up.  Do not stop praising me.  Continue, my children, and remember that I love you as only a father can love you."

Scripture Reading Psalm 66:1-3 - "Acclaim God, all the earth, play music to the glory of his name, glorify him with your praises, say to God, 'What dread you inspire!'"

Prophecy - "Look not to the East or to the West or the North or the South, for I am beside you always.  Every day I am right beside you."

Scripture Reading Psalm 27:11-14 - "Teach me, Lord, what you want me to do and lead me along the safe path because I have many enemies.  Don't abandon me to my enemies who attack me with lies and threats.  I know that I will live to see the Lord's goodness in this present life.  Trust in you, Lord, have faith, do not despair; trust in the Lord."

Scripture Reading Jeremiah 29:11-14 - "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future full of hope.  When you will call upon me and come and pray to me and I will hear you.  You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

Prophecy - "Wait upon the Lord, my little ones.  Do not grow impatient for I am doing a mighty work among you.  I am coming in power and in might.  My little ones, let me work in you and through you.  You are my chosen ones, my prophets.  You are my mouthpiece, my hands and my feet.  Wait upon me.  Do not go before me.  Wait upon the Lord and when I give you my word, speak, speak boldly, speak courageously for my words will come in power and authority.  And when my people, my lost sheep, hear my voice, they will recognize me.  Wait, let me do a little more work in you to prepare you for such a great and powerful ministry.  Be patient.  I am coming; soon, I am coming."

Scripture Reading Psalm 23:1-5 - "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.  He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul.  He leads me in right paths for his namesake.  You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows."

Scripture Reading Sirach 39:12-15 - "Like the moon, I am full, full of more ideas to be discussed.  Listen to me, the devout children of mine, and blossom like a rose bush on a stream bank.  Bloom like a sweet-smelling lily, and send your fragrance into the air like incense.  Sing the Lord's praises, and thank him for all he has done.  Proclaim his glory in grateful praise!  To the music of harps, sing this song."

Confirmation - I confirm Jeremiah 29.  This week, I was helping somebody, trying to lift them up and that's exactly the same passage that God gave me.

Scripture Reading Isaiah 51:4 -6 - "Pay attention to me, you peoples, listen to me, you nations.  For from me comes the Law and my justice shall be the light of the peoples, I will establish my integrity speedily, my salvation shall come like the light, my arm shall judge the peoples.  The islands put their hope in me, put their trust in my strength.  Lift up your eyes to the heavens, look down at the earth.  The heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth wear out like a garment, and it inhabitants die like vermin, but my salvation shall last forever and my justice have no end."

Teaching

Margaret called her talk,  Setting Course on the Road Back to Normal."  She shared on a retreat in which she recently participated.  This retreat helped Margaret put her COVID experience in perspective and to be positive toward it.  It changed her fear and discouragement to a healthy anticipation for it to end.  How the priest ended each day, helped Margaret.  i.e.  If I had become more grateful, I'll never be the same again.  If I become more grateful,  I will help our world never to be the same again.  If I forgive and I accept forgiveness, I will never be the same again.  If I forgive and accept forgiveness, I will help our world never be the same again.  If I truly receive God made flesh,.........  If I will be a channel of Christ's love,.............  If in Holy Communion I really drink in the love of Jesus,...........  If we receive the Holy Spirit and bring joy and hope to others, we will never be the same again.  If we receive the Holy Spirit and bring joy and hope to others, we will be helping our world to never be the same again, with God's grace a whole lot better.

Sharing

Patt shared on an experience in her life that showed the Word of Knowledge and the Word of Wisdom.  On a trip to a foreign country with her husband and her son, they were having a marvelous time.  One Wednesday afternoon, however, Patt became very angry and that was very uncharacteristic of her.  She didn't like anything.  She was uncomfortable, she didn't like being there.  Friday night, the son went out.  Before going to sleep, Patt listened to a few Christian talks.  She had come into the Lord's presence.  Around 3 a.m. in the morning, she was jolted awake and she KNEW she was supposed to pray.  She prayed the Apostles Creed, the Glory Be and the Our Father.  She was so sleepy that she was putting endings on the wrong prayers.  Basically, she did go around them twice with the best effort on the Our Father.  And she KNEW that the Our Father was the one she was supposed to be saying.  Then around 6 a.m., strange sounds came from the loft.  It was the son coming down from the loft.  She jumped up and ran to the kitchen.  It was bad but it could have been worse.  He was beaten.  Five people had encircled him.  They robbed him of his credit cards, phone and cash.  He totally cooperated with them.  The woman in the group shook pills in front of him and she had a needle.  He kept his eyes down.  They left him enough cash money for the cabbie.  They threw him into the cab.  Patt made a circle with her son, husband, and herself and she thanked God for his protection, for caring and for being real.  On thinking about this, when she got angry like that, uncharacteristically, she thought that was the Word of Knowledge.  Although she didn't know specifically that something bad was coming, she knew something was coming and she didn't like it.  When she was called to pray and to pray the Our Father, she took it as a Word of Wisdom because there is a line in there, "Deliver us from evil."  And she's his mother and that's a powerful prayer when she's praying for her son.

Praise Report

We had prayed for Cory who was in the hospital for about 2 months with COVID and was almost dying.  His whole family was asked to come.  He recovered!  A couple of days ago, he was moved to rehab.  Thank you, Lord, and please continue the healing.
