Scripture Readings at beginning of meeting Ephesians 5:20 - "Giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."  Phil 4:6-7 - "Don't worry about anything, but in all your prayers ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful heart."

Prophecy:  "My children, if you only knew how much Iove you; if you only knew how much I desire that you knew me in a deep personal way.  My children, I love you.  I was born without sin.  I, the Father, the Spirit are one and we, because of our love for you, have chosen to say, "Yes," to offer ourselves as sin for you.  My sacrifice for you was done out of love, that you may be freed. I am cleansing you, my children.  Please remember that in baptism, I have washed you clean.  I have poured my Spirit within you.  Yet, my children, there are so many that do not know how this precious gift that I have given you can rescue them, heal them and deliver them.  You, too, my children, I praise because you are here with me, tonight, worshipping and praising me.  You, my children, I praise because you have opened up your hearts to receive me in fullness.  My gift to you, yes, is eternal life and my gift for you is that you may receive abundant life.  And through my Spirit, I can bestow upon your hearts that gift of abundant life every time you surrender  your sinfulness, every time you surrender your brokenness, in every part of your being.  Tonight, I want you to know how much I desire to rescue you and redeem you.  Trust in me, my children, trust in me for I am with you and I have given my life for you that you may be made whole and holy."

Scripture Reading Isaiah 25:6 & ff - "On this mountain, for all peoples, Yahweh Saboath is preparing a banquet of rich food, a banquet of fine wines, of succulent food, of well strained wines.  On this mountain he has destroyed the veil which he used to veil all people, the pall enveloping all nations, he has destroyed death forever.  The Lord Yahweh has wiped away the tears from every cheek; he has taken his people's shame away everywhere on earth, for Yahweh has spoken.  And on that day, it will be said:  Look, this is our God; in him we put our hope that he should save us.  This is Yahweh, we put our hope in him.  Let us exalt and rejoice since he has saved us."

Prophecy:  "Come, come, I've come to embrace you.  I've come to draw you closer to myself.  I come because I love you so dearly and want to be in your heart, in your mind, in your being.  I want to have you listen to what I have to say in your heart.  Spend time with me.  Spend time so we can be together because I have lots to say to you all the time but you must be still to hear me.  You must be still.  Receive the word of love, the word of life, the word of direction and correction so that you may walk in my ways always.  You may walk ever so close because I want to be ever so close to you, my children, to impress you, to let you know that you are never alone, you are always near, always being loved, my dearest, dearest, dearest children.  Come, rest your soul, rest your hearts in me, come.  Whenever you want, come.  Please come, because I came on the cross and rose.  In that resurrection, I am raising you to myself in a new and more loving and glorious life, my dearest, dearest children.  Don't worry about the past.  Give it to me because that's what the blood is for, to wash you clean so I don't see the stain anymore but I see myself in you, my dearest, dearest children.  Come, I love you, come."

Prophecy/Scripture Reading 1 Peter 1:13 - I felt the Lord saying that he wants to give us the gift of hope this evening and he wants me to read 1 Peter 1:13.  "Therefore, preparing your minds for action and being sober minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ."

Confirmation:  At the start, I kept seeing, the Lord just kept showing me people from all over, sometimes people from work, sometimes family, mothers.  And at the very end, he said, "Hear my people, hear my people."    I think the Lord is gathering people, all people, so that when they come, to hear his people.   And at the very start, I don't know why I saw it and maybe it's for someone, but I saw a distinct painting of the Mona Lisa.

Scripture Reading Psalm 103:1-5 - "Bless the Lord, my soul; all my being, bless his holy name.  Bless the Lord, my soul and do not forget all his gifts, who pardons all your sins and heals all your ills, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with mercy and compassion, who fills your days with good things, so your youth is renewed like the eagle's."

Prophecy/Scripture Reading - I keep hearing the words, "Eat my Word, eat my Word."  And I keep seeing, "His Word and the Word comes to life, since the Word is Jesus."  Matt 4 says, "Man does not live by bread alone, but by the word of God."   And that is so important at this time.  And I also want to confirm the last prophecy.  The Lord does want us to have a renewal or renewing of all the gifts that we have been given, prophecy, tongues, visions.  And we will have those but we need to ask for them.  It's not enough that we sit there.  We need to ask for these gifts and for those of us that already have these gifts we need to ask him to renew them or refresh them.  And we're not to be timid.  It's O.K. to ask for these gifts.

Scripture Reading Ephesians 1:18-19 - "May the eyes of your heart be enlightened that you may know what is the hope that belongs to his call, what are the riches of his glory and his inheritance among the holy ones, and what is the surpassing greatness of his power for us who believe in accord, the exercise of his great might."

Scripture Reading Ephesians 4:1-6 - "I urge you then, I, who am a prisoner, because I serve the Lord: live a life that measures up to the standard God set when he he called you.  Be always humble, gentle and patient.  Show your love by being tolerant of one another.  Do your best to preserve the unity which the  Spirit gives by means of the peace that binds you together.  There is one body and one Spirit, just as there is one hope to which God has called you.  There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism; there is one God and Father of all people who is Lord of all, works for all and is in all."

Prophecy/Scripture Reading - I'm just getting a sense that our heavenly Father is kind of sad in that we're not asking with confidence.  And the Scripture that comes to me is Matt 7:9-11.  "Is there someone among you if your child asks for bread, will give a stone, or if a child asks for fish, will give a snake?  If you then who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask him?"

Teaching

Leann spoke on "Pray, Hope and Don't Worry."  Luke 12:22-32 - It's about the lilies of the field but the part that I'm reading is, "He said to his disciples, 'Therefore, I tell you, do not worry about your life.  Can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your span of life.'  And further on, "Do not keep worrying."  And the last verse, "Do not be afraid, little flock."  Phil 4:6 & 7 - "Do not worry about anything.  But in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus."  1 Peter 5:7 - "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."  Luke 10:41-42 - "Martha, Martha, you are worried and distracted by many things.  There is need of only one thing.  Mary has chosen the better part, which will not be taken away from her."  Matt 11:28-30 - "Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble of heart and you will find rest for your souls, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light."  1 Thess 5:16-18 - "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstrances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."  The Sower and the Seed parables in Matthew and Luke:  Matthew - "As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares or worries of the world and the lure of wealth choke the word and it yields nothing."  Luke - "As for what fell among the thorns, these are the ones who hear but as they go on their way, they are choked by the cares and worries and riches and pleasure of life and their fruit does not mature."  There are probably 365 verses in Scripture assuring us of not to be afraid.  There are many more verses which say, "Do not fear," or "Have peace."  The difficulty is appropriating the message and living it out.  Worry, anxiety and fear are the same thing.  They are the same emotion, just experienced on different levels.  Fear is a negative emotion caused by a real or perceived threat to our well being.  Anxiety means being uneasy and nervous about something we can't control, an event, a person or problem.  Worry is to mentally dwell on difficulty or trouble.  The first step is worry, worry turns to anxiety, and anxiety becomes fear.  St. Teresa of Avila's bookmark:  "Let nothing disturb you.  Let nothing frighten you.  All things are passing.  God never changes.  Patience obtains all things.  Nothing is wanting to him or her who possesses God.  God, alone, suffices."   Keep God front and center in our lives as much as possible.   The Word Among Us devotional for November 28, 2020 compared the stop, drop and roll practice that we have been taught in the event of our clothes being caught on fire with what Padre Pio advises to do when we are being burned by anxious thoughts and worries:  Pray.  Hope.  And don't worry.  Stop and pray.  As soon as worry or fear comes to mind, stop and turn to God in prayer.  Remind yourself that God is with you and he will help you to release your burdens to him.  Drop in hope.  Once you have stopped to pray, then drop to your knees, literally or figuratively, and intentionally hand over your anxieties to the Lord.  Say, "Lord, all my hope is in you.  Please come and help me."  Roll and don't worry.  Don't let your fears paralyze you.  Try to roll with whatever comes your way.  Of course, this is easier said than done.  But this is the time to exercise our faith in God's love and provision for us.  Just moving forward one little step at a time with whatever is happening in your day can help you move through your fear.  When Leann was praying the other day, faith, hope and love came to her as possible opposites of worry, anxiety and fear.  Faith is a trusting confidence in a God who is not controlled by reason.  Hope is a trust in the ultimate sovereignty of God who is in charge of creation, and in that I can put my confidence.  Love is a movement of the will to want the good of the other and to do something about it.    1 John 4:18 - "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear."  Peter Kreeft:  "Faith is the root, hope is the stem and love is a flower on a single plant."  We put our faith in the Father who loves us unconditionally.  We trust in Jesus, our brother and friend and it is by the power of Holy Spirit working within us that we are able to work through our fears and worries.   St. Francis de Sales:  "Have no fear for tomorrow, but tomorrow may bring.  The same loving God who cares for you today will take care of you tomorrow and every day.  God will either shield you from suffering or give you unfailing strength to bear it.  Be at peace then and put aside all anxious thought s and imaginings."
