Prophetic Words & Scripture Readings at Live Stream August 19, 2026

The following are words given by participants at the streamed meeting.  1 Corinthians 14:29 says that "Two or three prophets should speak, and the others weigh carefully what is said."  1 Thess 5:19-21 tells us not to despise prophecies, but to test everything and retain what is good.

At beginning of meeting Scripture Reading Psalm 106:47 - Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from the nations to give thanks to your holy name and make it our glory to praise you.

Scripture Reading Matthew 12:28-30 - Come to me  all you who are weary and heavy-burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

Vision - I saw a vision of hands apart and in between them was a very strong and bright light.  That was being held as they were singing over and over again, "as we worship you".  That was what I saw was that bright light and it was just glowing and moving and it was just beautiful.

Scripture Reading Jeremiah 50:6-7 - My people have been lost sheep; their shepherds have led them astray, turning them away on the mountains; from mountain to hill they have gone, they have forgotten their fold.  All who found them have devoured them, and their enemies have said, "We are not guilty, because they have sinned against the Lord, the true pasture, the Lord, the hope of their ancestors.

Scripture Reading Isaiah 43:1-3 - Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name:  you are mine.  When you pass through the water, I will be with you; in the rivers you shall not drown.  When you walk through fire, you shall not be burned; the flames shall not consume you.  For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your savior. 

Prophecy - My children, I love you so much and I desire to redeem you, save you and be with you; just as much as you desire and want to be with me.  My children, here on earth you have time but up in heaven there is no time.  There is only the moment.  So, tonight I am asking you, my children, to strive towards this goal of living in the moment, when you pray, when you worship me, when you do your daily activities, in the moment, without fear of the future and worries of the past.  There you will find me.  There you will know and see my light shining through every aspect of your life if you only come to me in the moment.  Every moment of the day I am there.  I love you, my children.  Be at peace.  Yes, my yoke is easy when you live in the moment.!  

Scripture Reading Isaiah 51:15-16 - "I am the Lord your God; I stir up the sea and make its waves roar.  My name is the Lord Almighty.  I stretched out the heavens and laid the earth's foundations; I say to Jerusalem, 'You are my people!  I have given you my teaching, and I protect you with my hand.'"

Prophecy - Yes, my little ones, I will protect you.  I hold you in the palm of my hand.  I'm asking you to worship, to stay focused on me.  Give me your heart, your mind, your soul, your body, your spirit; give me your all and I will fill you with my Spirit to overflowing so that through your worship, my people will see me.  My lost sheep will see me in you, my shepherds.  Stay focused on me and I will gather you and all my chosen ones.  Through you, my little ones, I will reach out and bring back the lost.  Allow me to use you in whatever way I choose.  Only be open and be focused on me.  You are my hands, my feet and my mouthpiece.  Give me all your praises and I will give you all of my Spirit.  I love you with a never ending love, unconditional love.  Let me love you.

Scripture Reading Psalm 98:5-9 - Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of melody.  With trumpets and the sound of the horn shout joyfully before the King, the Lord.  Let the sea roar and all it contains, the world and those who dwell in it.  Let the rivers clap their hands, let the mountains sing together for joy before the Lord, for he is coming to judge the earth; he will judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with equity.

Teaching

Bishop Barron spoke on the 5 signs of the Holy Spirit working within us.

The Holy Spirit sent by the Father and the Son is the animating spirit of the life of the church.  We see his work all over the place.

1.  When something goes really bad in your life, what's God up to?  God can use even evil for his purposes.  Acts of the Apostles: Philip going down to city of Samaria and proclaiming Christ to them.  First sign of Holy Spirit:  Bold speech, proclamation on behalf of Christ.  People filled with the Holy Spirit can't keep Christ to themselves.

2.  The Holy Spirit expels wicked spirits.  If the Holy Spirit takes up residence in you, then all these other spirits have to flee.  One of the signs of the Holy Spirit is this fleeing of darkness.  One of the marks of the Holy Spirit is extraordinary signs and wonders, miraculous manifestations.  Signs, the expulsion of dark powers, the miraculous manifestation of the Spirit are indicators of the Holy Spirit.

3.  Joy is the principle flag of the Holy Spirit which becomes radiant and contagious.

4.  Another sign of the Holy Spirit is intellectual curiosity about the faith.  You are eager to find out all you can.  To read and to study and pray over texts and to understand the faith more deeply, that's a sign that the Holy Spirit is at work within you.   

5.  The most important mark of the Holy Spirit is love.  To love is to will the good of the other.  Paul said, "I could have faith to move mountains, but if I do not have love, I am nothing."  John of the Cross said, "The evening of life will be judged on the basis of love."

People full of the Spirit proclaim the word of the Lord boldly.  People full of the Spirit often manifest signs.  People filled with the Spirit - joy.  People filled with the Spirit have intellectual curiosity about the faith.  People filled with the Spirit will the good of the other.
