Prophetic Words and Scripture Readings at live stream on May 20 2020

May 20, 2020

Scripture Reading Psalm 92: “It is good to give thanks to Yahweh, to play in honour of your name, Most High, to proclaim your love at daybreak and your faithfulness all through the night to the music of the zither and lyre, to the rippling of the harp.  I am happy, Yahweh, at what you have done; at your achievements I joyfully exclaim, ‘Great are your achievements, Yahweh, immensely deep your thoughts!'”

Scripture Reading Psalm 26:6-8:  “I wash my hands in innocence, and go about your altar, O Lord, proclaiming aloud your praise, recalling all your wonderful deeds.  I love the house where you live, O Lord, the place where your glory dwells.”

Prophecy:  I felt the Lord was saying, “I see you singing to me. I hear your songs and it touches my heart, my children.  Continue to do that for it pleases me.”

Scripture Reading Joel 2:25:  “I will repay you for the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer and the cutter, my great army which I sent against you.  You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord, your God who has dealt wondrously with you; and my people shall never again be put to shame.  You shall know that I am in the midst of Israel and that I, the Lord, am your God and there is no other; and my people shall never again be put to shame.”

Scripture Reading Joel 2:23:  “O children of Zion, be glad and rejoice in the Lord, your God for he has given the early rain for your vindication, poured down for you abundant rain, the early and the latter rain as before.  The threshing floors shall be full of grain; the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.”

Prophecy:  I sense the Lord saying that even though times are tough right now, that we are to have joy in our hearts.  We are to use this time to draw closer to himself, to come to know him better, that much good will come out of this tough time.  “But continue to pray.  Continue to praise me and stay close to me and experience the joy that I have for you.”

Scripture Reading Jeremiah 17:  “Blessed is anyone who trusts in Yahweh, with Yahweh for his reliance.  He is like a tree by the waterside that thrusts its roots to the stream:  when the heat comes it has nothing to fear, its foliage stays green; untroubled in a year of drought, it never stops bearing fruit.”

Teaching

“Joy of the Lord” by David J.   Book by Tim Hansel, “Holy Sweat”.  Tim was a mountain climber who suffered an accident and has back pain all the time.  In this book, Tim wrote, “In every moment in life, we can choose joy or we can choose misery.”  As Wayne was dying, God put on David’s heart that ‘you can choose joy in loving on your brother.  You can choose joy by loving on your Mom and Dad.  You can choose joy by loving on Wayne’s bride and supporting her and supporting your Mom and Dad through this time.  You can choose joy by praying for the doctors and praying for the nurses and praying for everybody.  You can choose joy.’  Put reminders in front of us.  One is the Word of God.  David’s sign on his desk:  Loving – Curious – Innovative – Joyful – Faithful.  This is what David feels God is calling him to be.  FEAR:  false expectations appearing real.  Three levels of belief:  1) Understand  2) Accept  3) Apply.  Matthew 29:19 – “Go, therefore, make disciples of all nations.  Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and teach them to observe all the command I gave you.  And look, I am with you, yes, to the end of time.”   Love on yourself.  Song, “Joy is the flag flown high when the King is in residence there.”  If people cheer, make a lot of noise at a football game, we should be shouting, etc., because Jesus died for our sins; he gave everything!  Phil 4 – “Always be joyful then in the Lord.  I repeat, be joyful.  Let your good sense be obvious to everyone.  The Lord is near.  Never worry about anything but tell God all your desires of every kind in prayer and petition full of gratitude. And peace, the peace of God which is beyond our understanding will guard your hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus.  Finally, brothers, let your minds be filled with everything that is honorable, everything that is true, everything that is upright and pure, everything that we love and admire with whatever is good and praiseworthy.”

Praise Report:  Colin had his operation on Thursday in B.C.  It went very well.  He got home on Monday.   That wasn’t very long for an operation that basically took out a blood vessel between the heart and the lungs and put in some sort of a graft.

May 27/20 prayer meeting will live streamed at 7:30 p.m.
